SShazzbazzI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Penang Marjorie Hotel, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The standout feature of my stay was undoubtedly the kindness of the staff. Every interaction was marked by warmth and attentiveness, making me feel truly welcomed.
The room itself was another highlight. It was spacious, well-appointed, and provided a comfortable haven to relax after a day of exploring. The attention to detail in the room's decor and amenities enhanced my overall experience.
However, I did encounter some challenges during my stay. The elevator system was somewhat confusing, especially when trying to navigate to the 4th-floor car park. It often required multiple trips between our floor and the lobby. Additionally, I noticed the elevator lights would occasionally illuminate without actually moving, which added to the confusion.
Another area for improvement is the pool service. I attempted to reach out via WhatsApp to request service, but unfortunately, I never received a response. This aspect of my stay was disappointing, as I had hoped for a more seamless experience while enjoying the pool area.
In summary, while my stay at the Iconic Marjorie Hotel was enjoyable thanks to the wonderful staff and lovely room, I hope they can address the elevator issues and improve pool service for a smoother experience in the future. I would still recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a pleasant stay in Penang!

Ddzulhaimi zainal abidinAs we entered the unit at 9.00 pm due to last minute bookings, the unit was clean and tidy. Even though the hall's air conditioning is sweezing but well functioning. Overall, we are happy for the stay and very highly recommended for family or friends with 3-6 person as they provide 2 single beds, 1 double decker and 1 queen bed. Ample space at hall attached with the dining table. Further more, the unit located at the very next elevators, less worrying when we get in and out at night especially. Easy to get various foods and basic stuff and there are clinics and self-laundry down stairs. We will surely looking forward for the next visit.

”Our stay at Hotel Pen Mutiara was absolutely wonderful! One of the biggest highlights was the huge room we stayed in—it was incredibly spacious, making it perfect for the family, and remarkably clean from top to bottom.
The food at the on-site restaurant was delicious; we particularly loved the Ikan siakap tiga rasa, which is a must-try for anyone visiting. After our meal, we spent a relaxing afternoon by the swimming pool, which was clean and well-maintained, providing a great escape from the Penang heat.
The location is also unbeatable for sightseeing. It is located very near to the Aquarium Tunku Abdul Rahman (Fisheries Department Research Institute), which made our morning outing so convenient. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with excellent local flavors and easy access to nearby attractions!”

JJOYCECMT1120This hotel's biggest strength is its location. The room was compact but clean and had everything I needed for a two-night trip: a comfortable bed, a good shower, and reliable free WiFi. The staff were efficient during check-in/out.
Verdict: A great, no-frills base for exploring the city. I would stay again for the convenience and price.
