Cuando entramos en la puerta, la habitación está bien, pero hay un poco más de insectos. El hotel cuenta con tres restaurantes, estilos, Asia y buffets. Algunos restaurantes turísticos cerca del hotel no sugieren comer. Se le llevará una hora y media para verlo. Cuando salga de la tienda, vea la cuenta y no tiene por qué añadirle algunas tasas de protección para los piratas.

Lankavatara offers a peaceful, secluded escape. The beach is beautiful and, for most of our stay, we had it almost entirely to ourselves. Do be aware that the sea is very rough, so it’s generally not suitable for swimming. The rooms have a rustic charm with basic amenities. While comfortable enough, I personally wouldn’t rate the property as a 4-star hotel. The Wi-Fi was also quite weak, which may be worth considering if you need a reliable internet connection. The staff were always willing to help when asked, although the service sometimes felt a little disingenuous and not always delivered with genuine warmth. Food service could also be quite slow at times, so it’s best to allow plenty of time for meals. One of the highlights of our stay was the surrounding area. A special mention goes to Upoint Restaurant, which serves exceptional home-cooked Sri Lankan seafood. The hosts there were incredibly welcoming and made for a memorable dining experience. Overall, we had a lovely stay. If you’re looking for a quiet, unspoilt beach, simple accommodation, and don’t mind a more relaxed pace of service, Lankavatara is a pleasant place to unwind.

Отличный новый отель, однако не без минусов. Уже воняют кондиционеры. Вероятно плохо обслуживаются, или нерегулярно. С едой все так себе. Что на завтрак, что на обед и ужин. Просто невкусно. Заказал 2 раза на завтрак одно и тоже (отдельное спасибо за название блюд на завтрак типа ”глаза дьявола” - серьезно?) - блюдо было разное) Ну всмысле состав один но 1 раз жидкая яичница, а второй уже высущенная. Поставьте на завтрак просто шведский стол, вместо заказа через официанта. Все долго и бестолково. Приносят не то меню, уходят менять и возвращаются не сразу. Вообщем не стандарты 5* В остальном супер. Отличное сафари. Кто то ждет большего - мне хватило. За бассейн отдельная похвала - просто наслаждение находится в нем.

Muy buenos hoteles, las nuevas instalaciones de la habitación están completas y el balcón puede llegar al Océano Índico. De la recepción a el restaurante, todo el personal ofrece un buen servicio. Vale la pena mencionar la mitad de la comida ofrecida por el hotel, hemos elegido la cena y el desayuno, y hemos hecho un buen trato. Recomendado quedarse.

Nos alojamos aquí por 2 noches, era una propiedad un poco antigua, pero el propietario y la familia fueron muy serviciales y encantadores. La piscina era genial y el parque nacional de Yala era divertido.

A wonderful family run establishment. I was very ill during my stay and the owner took me to his doctor friend and pharmacy and took care of me. The room is comfortable and it has a nice sitting balcony. Its very very quiet and easy to sleep. Its 10 mins by tuk tuk to tissa lake and the safari is not far. They offer safari services although I didn't use. Wifi available. Lots of plugs in the room. Breakfast is flexible and accommodating. The family is so kind and warm. Highly recommend staying here.

El hotel es un poco viejo, pero el servicio, las instalaciones y el paisaje siguen siendo encantadores. La piscina del lago es la más maravillosa del hotel. La isla de pájaros que desean al otro lado es una escena inolvidable.

We stayed here before a trip to Yala national park. The hotel property is quaint and charming. We took pictures of monkeys and peacocks near the hotel’s river bank and trees. Our room was basic, but clean and comfortable. The shower had hot water, but barely any pressure available. Internet was inconsistent and did not work for the first few hours.  The staff were friendly and did their best to communicate with us and meet our needs. They helped us arrange private transportation to and from the international airport and local safaris with third-parties.  We had two meals cooked by our hostess. Our first meal there was excellent with many fresh, local dishes. However, the second meal was simply rice and overcooked chicken, which we struggled to finish. That meal was double the first meal’s price. Also, meal prices were not disclosed until checkout, when we were surprised with a disproportionately large bill, charging us equally for our two meals as our two-night stay in the room. Our fault for not asking first, I suppose, but I felt taken advantage of and it soured our experience.
