Estuve muy satisfecho con mi estancia en Fufu Retreat Forest. La habitación era espaciosa y cómoda, con baño termal privado, lo cual fue realmente relajante. El personal fue amable y profesional, y su atención al detalle fue excepcional. Tanto el desayuno como la cena fueron abundantes y deliciosos, con ingredientes frescos y una presentación impecable. El ambiente en general era tranquilo y confortable, perfecto para retiros relajantes y apacibles. Lo recomiendo ampliamente a quienes aprecian un ambiente tranquilo. En resumen, fue una estancia verdaderamente reparadora y sin duda volvería.

I stayed at this hotel with my wife and two children during a two-night trip to Karuizawa in early February. The hotel is around 100 years old and its claim to fame is that John Lennon has stayed there. The piano that he played on is still in the bar. Location: The hotel is near Old Ginza Street and around a 15-minutes drive from Karuizawa station. It was not difficult to find, but you must navigate a narrow approach to the hotel which is icy at this time of the year, so you must drive carefully. Cleaniness: The staff told me that the hotel was only recently and everything was very clean and in good condition. Service: The receptionist that conducted the check-in was probably the Japanese that spoke the best English that I had encountered on this trip. He spent a lot of time explaining the hotel to our family. The porter was also very helpful and polite. When we asked for extra toothbrushes and slippers for the children, housekeeping was very prompt in delivering them and even brought some children's robes for my sons. Facilities: The hotel did not have many facilities. There is a small shop, a bar and a french restaurant but not much else. Some rooms had private hot springs in them and they gave us the opportunity to upgrade. Our room, had a small balcony even though we were on the ground floor. It looked onto a wooded area so there was not much to see, especially at night. However, when it snowed the next morning, my kids loved going out and playing in the snow. I was particularly impressed by the breakfast. It was a simple American breakfast very well presented. It was very pleasurable to look out into the inner courtyard with it was snowing. Overall: I like this hotel as it has a lot of character. It is architecturally attractive and has kept a lot of its charm despite renovation. The staff are very professional and polite. I would stay in this hotel again.

El hotel Indigo Karuizawa de IHG es un espectacular estancia con estilo y encanto local, el diseño se siente fresco y vibrante, las habitaciones son confortables y el ambiente de montaña es maravilloso. Es perfecto para explorar Karuizawa, disfrutar de una gran comida y relajarse en el confort.

Traer al perro para estar juntos, muy satisfecho en todos los aspectos. El hotel está a unos 15 minutos a pie de la estación de Karuizawa y hay un servicio de transporte gratuito, que es muy considerado. Las instalaciones del hotel están muy limpias. Aunque es un hotel para mascotas, las habitaciones y áreas públicas no tienen ningún olor desagradable. Tanto el interior como el exterior están equipados con un parque para perros y un salón para perros donde se pueden tomar fotos. Fue divertido comunicarse y jugar con otros perros en el área pública. Durante la estadía, también puede sumergirse en las aguas termales, y los adultos también pueden relajarse y disfrutar. En resumen, fue una experiencia muy satisfactoria. La próxima vez que vaya a Karuizawa, ¡todavía quiero llevarme al perro!

It was a great experience to stay in this hotel! Very nice view and staff are very polite and willing to answer many questions. Outdoor area is very big that we could take bicycles with kids. Also there are kids outdoor playground that can spend whole day there. 

Pros - 1. Hotel apartment is 15 mins by walk from karuizawa station, still walkable. Hotel does not provide any shuttle bus 2. Room is spacious and it is equipped with microwave, stove & fridge. It does not come with any kitchen ware though and need to request the items you need clearly. It is hard to communicate as the staffs do not speak English well 3. It is 3 mins by walk away from a big supermarket and McDonald, very convenient if you like to cook and buy something to eat on your own Cons 1. Facilities are old, WiFi was down few times during our stay 2. Staffs are not professional and do not speak English well. It is so difficult to communicate with the receptionist as most of male staffs do not speak English (female is better). They provide false information and don’t understand their hotel facilities well 3. During our stay, roof top is under repair so the whole room is surrounded by shed frame, we are unable to open the balcony door at all as the view is all blocked 4. Carpet & sofa are quite dirty In short, I recommend this hotel if you are staying with a big group and want to cook your own dinner. But I will not stay here again due to the poor staff experiences.

I stayed at Hotel Marroad Karuizawa, which is about a 12-minute walk from Karuizawa Station. The surrounding area is very quiet and peaceful. The lobby has a charming retro Showa-era vibe, and the hotel is a two-story building. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very quiet. The Japanese-style futon mattress was thick and extremely comfortable, while the Western-style bed had a good balance of softness and firmness. The room amenities were well provided, and the hotel staff were very friendly. There is also a shuttle service to the ski resort and the station, which was very convenient. Although the hotel is a bit far from Ginza Street and nearby convenience stores, taking a taxi only takes about five minutes, so getting around was still quite easy. That said, there are a few minor drawbacks: 1️⃣ There is no elevator, escalator, or ramp from the entrance to the front desk, which makes carrying luggage inconvenient. Many guests have mentioned this issue. 2️⃣ The sink has separate hot and cold water taps instead of a single mixer tap, which feels a bit outdated and less convenient. 3️⃣ The air conditioner is relatively loud. Even in sleep mode, it turns on and off automatically, which can be a bit annoying at night. 4️⃣ The hotel uses traditional keys instead of key cards, and you need to leave the key at the front desk when you go out. That said, this also adds to the nostalgic atmosphere of the hotel and fits well with its retro style.

El hotel se ha visto muy bien en la ciudad de Kusatsu, pero el servicio de oficina principal es eficiente, pero es un cursor en comparación con la hospitalidad que nos encontramos en la estancia de ryokan. Aunque me alegraba pagar la tarifa, no puedo ayudar, pero comparar su práctica con todos los hoteles que he estado en todos estos años, donde los cambios de habitación fueron complimentarios mientras el tipo de habitación permanece igual. No obstante, las instalaciones del hotel me encantaron enormemente y me disfruté de la experiencia general. El hotel se encuentra en una sala de comedor con una ventana de vidrio. La habitación de la habitación era muy buena, pero no era muy buena. El otro punto de atención del hotel es la instalación de lanzamiento, que se encuentra en un edificio separado en un terreno superior, accesible a través de un tranvía automático. Aparte de la vista de Asama en el exterior, hay un salón común que tiene una vista igualmente maravillosa de Asama. ¿Qué? ¡Volveré al Príncipe Asama y experimentaré el escenario durante una temporada diferente!

Es un hotel 2-floor con primavera caliente para los huéspedes. Aunque el personal habla poco inglés, pero tratan de comunicar mejor. Me gusta la mayoría de los alimentos que ofrecen. El paquete incluye desayuno y cena. Para mi sorpresa, la cena es una cocina francesa 5-course con café al final. La calidad es alta no sólo la comida, sino el servicio. El desayuno está mezclado con estilo francés y japonés. El curso principal es francés y servido, y la comida y la bebida japonesas están en estilo buffet. La ubicación es muy conveniente, pero el hotel ofrece servicio de autobús de la estación de tren y desde ella. Si te gusta unas vacaciones relajadas y tranquilas en Karuiazawa, este hotel es una buena elección.
