This graceful ryokan has been running a business for 150 years located in a sedated little town. Maybe it’s off season. I felt I was in the middle of nowhere worrying what to do with my time there. However Izumi San the host has been helping me above and beyond trying to make me feel welcome. She escorted me to and from the onsen each night punctually. She got all the information for me to rent a bicycle and get me the bus time table ready for me to travel to Hiroshima. Btw the bike ride was amazing and is a must do for islands hopping. Although we communicated mostly through Google translate and some of my broken Japanese. We have had some good laugh. Chaume did offer me couple of restful nights. To Izumi San, arigato gozaimasu. 💝

Utilizado en viajes por la Isla de Bo Hajda. El estacionamiento es gratuito y amplio, así que incluso si llegas tarde, puedes 🅿️ Ji Jia Jianjia, Kura Sushi, así que no pareces preocupado por la comida! 이번기회에 [쇼와양식] 이란 단어를 알게되었네요. 건물은 5층 구성의 작은 호텔식이며, 방 안은 다다미 바닥으로 일본식 입니다. 특이하게 베란다쪽에 화장실과 욕조가 위치해있으며, 산을 바라보며 목욕을 할 수 있어요. 온천물이 정말 좋습니다. 3대미인탕이라던데, 알칼리계통의 물이라 미끈미끈해서 계속 헹구게 됩니다. 방에있는 욕조에서도 온천물이 나오는데 조금 오래걸립니다. 지하에있는 큰 욕탕에서 씻는것을 추천합니다. 기분탓인지 몰라도 온천 후 피부가 부드러워진듯한 느낌이 들어요. 계절식도 맛있었습니다. 직원들의 응대는 친절했어요. 식사 후 잠자리를 준비해준다고 안내를 받았기 때문에 처음 들어가서 가방은 따로 풀어놓지 않았습니다. 세토대교를 건너 뷰 감상 후 여행의 마무리 단계에 휴식차원에서 들렸습니다. 또 가고싶어요. 아, 식당에서 지역 크래프트 맥주를 판매하는데 이번 여행에서 제일 맛있는 크래프트비어였습니다 :)

El cuarto de estar reservado, con una cama, es muy pequeño, pero el precio es allí. El cuarto de baño, el baño es compartido, pero la higiene no es problema, muy limpia, hay cocina compartida, hay microondas que pueden calentar y cómodas, y casi en casa. Esta vez es Bohai Road, un hotel que se queda en el centro, en un canal de un santuario, y una comida del hotel es muy buena para resolver el problema del almuerzo.

2024.7月以来2回目の利用でした。 多々羅大橋のたもとにある大三島BSからは島の反対側ですが、バスで移動しました。バス停からはすぐです。 近くにマーレ・グラッシア大三島さんがあって温泉に入れるし、大三島ブリューワリーさんはすぐ近くなのが気に入っています。 大山祇神社も徒歩で行けて、朝の静かで凛とした空気の中でお参り出来ました。 ランドリーやキッチンもあるので、長期滞在やサイクリングの宿に最適だと思います。 オーナーご夫妻も気さくで、また大三島に行く時には利用したいです。

老舗の旅館で、ひなびた温泉旅館のよう。あちこちぎしぎしする廊下や木製の階段の手すり、タイル張りの洗面台など、昭和レトロ感満載でしたが、格安の素泊まりだったので全然　OKでした。 お風呂も共同で１、2人入るたびに鍵をかけて入ります。建物は古いですが、トイレはウォシュレットだったり、部屋のドライヤーやポットも新しくて、清潔でした。壁は薄いですが、周りの宿泊客が良識ある方だったようで、夜も静かで快適にすごせました。今治ハンドタオルの選べるプレゼントも嬉しいサービスです。ネット予約だったので、領収書は発行できないかと言ってみましたが、親切に発行してもらいました。立地は今治港は近いですが、今治駅からは商店街を10分くらい歩きました。

This ryokan was spectacular in the most traditional Japanese hospitality way. We arrived around 7pm, and the welcoming hotielier made sure we could take dinner in a restuarant next door, even though we were not staying at their facility--such a kind move! The space was peaceful and welcoming, the traditional men/women bathing experiences were so comfortable and well-supplied. The tatami sleeping room was perfect, and kept successfully cool in a VERY hot summer. The traditional Japanese seto breakfast and dining area were equally special. I cannot recommend this wonderful inn highly enough! The location is the only somewhat limiting factor, as there is not much around the inn regarding food and amenities.
