Great place it was huge fornthe 2 of us! , Beautiful surroundings, close to lots of restaurants. Hosts were lovely and friendly, we had use of the kayak and small boat. Only negative was there was no air con but plenty of fans were pr9vided.

Fantastic resort at Samosir island, typical of what one might expect from a 5 star resort. Island weather was a cooling 20 degrees but the water in the pool is warm, so you could enjoy it even in the evening. Oh not to mention the view. The outdoor equipments like bicycles, e-scooters, electric cars are very well maintain, so you could rent it with peace of mind.

The view of lake Toba is stunning, beautiful Batak architecture style, but the room we stayed had some ants, otherwise is still clean, breakfast is local food, honestly we had a good stay, but really not for perfectionists.

Valor por dinero. Personal amigable con buen servicio. Los huéspedes del hotel siempre son útiles. Situación estratégica. Bella vista del lago con cottages justo al lado del lago Toba. La comida es deliciosa. Fácil de obtener ayuda para alquilar motocicleta. La parte más apreciada fue el hotel nos dio una recolección caliente del puerto. El tiempo es frío y las vistas a la montaña son espectaculares. Altamente recomendado para permanecer en este hotel bien equipado.

I ordered 3 rooms for me and my family. The staff so polite and friendly. The cleanliness also good. On night, the weather is cold, no air-conditioning is required. They provide nasi goreng and teh manis for the breakfast and its really taste good. My family and i so happy to stay here

I recently stayed at the Samosir Cottage on Samosir Island from November 29 to December 1, 2024. The room was spacious, a significant plus. However, the toilet area required attention, with ants present, as mentioned in previous reviews. While this was acceptable for me, it's an area for improvement. What truly impressed me was the exceptional service from the receptionist. They clearly explained options and kindly upgraded us to a bigger room. Their helpfulness and professionalism made a significant difference in our stay. We booked two deluxe rooms, but the first room had a smoke smell, prompting us to request a change or upgrade. Overall, while there's room for improvement in bathroom maintenance and mattress covers, the Samosir Cottage's spacious rooms and excellent service make it a solid choice for those visiting Samosir Island. El hotel ofrece una estancia familiar maravillosa, limpia, espaciosa y cómoda para todos. La ubicación es también conveniente y fácil de acceder. En general, fue un agradable y relajado estancia para nuestra familia.

We arrived late around 9pm. The bed is ok. Very cool weather. For breakfast quite a variety and delicious. We stay for 2 nights. View is great and very relaxing. Not crowded at all. However the pool is quite dirty with dead insects but we see the hotel guy clean it every morning, swim at your own risk.

In die Jahre gekommenes, grundsätzlich schönes Hotel. Leider lässt die Sauberkeit etwas zu wünschen übrig und an Details & Austattung mangelt es. Für Instagram Posts eignet sich die Unterkunft mit ihrem schönen Ausblick allerdings grandios. Lage ist ruhig und ziemlich abgelegen. Service ist sehr lieb und bemüht, obwohl die Kommunikation auf Englisch manchmal etwas holprig war. Insgesamt ein guter Aufenthalt, allerdings ist der Preis zu hoch.

The place are quite new big room & still need to improved more. No TV, no AC either fan in the room. Nice bed, nice View from the room & got more plug at the room. Just need to walk down and up the stair too much. No short cut. So far the owner was kind & helpful. TQ Penginapan Mafir.
