We recently stayed at this stunning 8-bedroom private villa in the Dago area of Bandung, and it exceeded every expectation for a family reunion/group getaway. Nestled in the cool highlands, the villa offers breathtaking natural surroundings with lush greenery everywhere, both outside in the beautifully landscaped grounds and inside with thoughtful plant integrations that make the space feel fresh and alive. All the rooms facing a stunning hills. The layout is incredibly practical for larger groups: • 2 underground floors, each with 2 spacious bedrooms (4 bedrooms total downstairs), perfect for privacy or families with kids. • Ground floor features a massive, fully equipped kitchen with every utensil you could need, a large dining table for group meals, huge tv with comfy sofa, and a fantastic sound-proof karaoke room that kept the fun going late without disturbing anyone. • 2 upper floors, each with 2 bedrooms (another 4 upstairs), all comfortable and well-appointed. Every bedroom is ensuite (private bathrooms), and the villa comfortably sleeps 16–24 people depending on extra beds. One of the absolute highlights is the private heated swimming pool, a game-changer in Bandung’s chilly highland weather (we loved dipping in when temperatures hovered between 16–24°C). The water stays perfectly warm, making it enjoyable even on cooler evenings. The pool area feels luxurious and relaxing with those mountain/city views. Everything is provided thoughtfully: unlimited mineral water, complete kitchen setup (pots, pans, plates, cutlery, etc.), clean linens, WiFi, and plenty of space. The huge parking area in front easily accommodated multiple cars, no stress about parking at all. The design embraces nature beautifully, lots of glass for natural light, open spaces, and that signature Dago greenery that makes you feel like you’re in a peaceful retreat away from the city buzz, yet still close enough to cafes and attractions. If you’re looking for a spacious, fully-facilitated private villa for a big family, friends’ trip, or celebration in Bandung, this place is highly recommended. The heated pool alone makes it stand out in the cool climate. We’ll definitely be back! Rating suggestion: 5/5 stars Would stay again? Absolutely!

OMG! What a great experience staying in this hotel. I've never seen a very clean hotel as this one. The view is beyond my expectation. A breathtaking view is everywhere in this hotel. It's cold here, no A/C, but there is a fireplace in our room. It was my first experience using a fireplace as well. The staff are very friendly. My family and I really enjoyed our staying in this hotel. I will definitely visit this hotel again if I come here!

The hotel provides excellent service in every aspect. All the staff are being very nice, friendly, and helpful from the very start we came until we left the hotel. In addition, I took a note about the water when having a breakfast, the next day the representative approached me and showed some gratitude for filling the survey and gave me complimentary cake. It was the cake I love that I mentioned before. Thank you to Mr. Lucky & all the F&B staff for the nice gesture. And for the hotel itself, the atmosphere, location, food - everything was great! Malaysian here. Tak pasti kalau aku 1st Malaysian yang checked in kat sini. Tapi biar lah aku share pengalaman aku kat sini. View is stunning and highly recommended for first timer. Kenapa ? Sebab nak masuk Bobocabin ni, kau kena bayar kawah putih fee + private car (supir) aka extra charges WALAUPUN KAU TAK MASUK KAWAH PUTIH. I’m well aware as I read some Indonesian reviews before come here plus ni pertama kali aku ke Indonesia, so okay la dah alang2 nak masuk kawah putih sekali. Fee IDR 90k per pax untuk kawah putih & IDR 179k untuk private car (supir). Sekali bayar je. Bobocabin ni MEMANG LAWA GILA. Suhu boleh capai 13degree pada waktu malam. Bawa makanan sesiap Dari Bandung sebab kat sini takda kedai. Sila gerak Dari Bandung selewatnya 1pm sebab kadang jalan jem time weekend & dari entrance kawah putih ke Bobocabin ni dalam 7km by car. Kalau korang sampai selepas jam 5, jalan terlalu gelap & takda proper signage ke Bobocabin ni. We were lucky since we arrived at Kawah Putih around 6pm and got 1 pakcik follow & show the way to the Bobocabin, selain bantu temankan supir aku yang penakut tu. Hahaha. Bless u Pakcik! Perjalanan dihidangkan dengan ladang teh yang berbukit bukau. Takda lampu jalan, off-road dan kami diberitahu yang BoboCabin ni berada di atas Gunung Mayit (?). Dari atas Bobocabin ni boleh nampak lampu2 dari Bandung, Situ Patenggang, bukit2 dan gunung2. Pihak cabin ada sediakan water heater, hair dryer, microwave TAPI TAKDA SETERIKA ! 🤣 They sell food but less option. Mostly sold out. Better bawa sesiap k! The location is Ok. My first time here in Dago. It is located beside pesantren and mosque. You can hear the people recites alquran and also azan. I booked 2 rooms here next to each other facing the pool/garden. I believe that Dago Heuvel has been there since many many years. The properties is pretty from the outisde, but inside. It was a bit disappointed. Understand that the price we paid was low and it came with breakfast. But I di believe that the properties need to have good maintenance inside the room especially the toilet. The water pressure at the toilet and bidet, oh my god it was very low pressure. We experienced a hard time to flush the toilet, we thought that it was broken. We tried and tried, hustle to get all the poops goes in. Please fix the flush and do maintenance at both of the toilets. We dont care if there is a bit dirty on the duvet, comforter or shower and also crack at most of the walks. But no excuse on the toilet. You have such a beautiful view overlooking Intercontinental hotel and etc, please improve on the toilet ya. The breakfast is Ok. Bed is comfortable but pillow was very thin but no problem on that. Ok that’s all Thanks

The place was nice. but will you help us (visitor) by changing the tv into an smart tv in each floor. For the pool If I say will you add some new stuff like a nice jacuzzi and stuff and for the main pool it was also nice. But overall it was nice and great 👍. Thanks

Pas nginep lg libur long weekend yg akses ke ciwidey padat merayap bgt waktu itu jadi pas sampe hotel udh mlm sekitar jam8an disaat kondisi lg gerimis pula & pas check-in ternyata udh full jadi dpt kamar dipojok atas yg type lantai kamar kayu bambu gitu,agak susah aja naik turun dr lt.2 karna lg bawa koper huhuuu..

If you’re a solo traveler looking for something special and close to nature, this place is the perfect spot for you. The photo really does show what you get - it’s clean and raw, but in a good way. The bed is super comfy, but just a heads up, the shower isn’t heated, which is part of the experience. It’s also just a 3-minute walk to Kawah Putih, which is the best place to experience Ciwidey.

everything controlled by app in your phone the room light cannot be fully switched off (fully dark), and im not used to be sleeping with lights on in the room full of bugs. understandable, bcause you are somewhere below big trees. the rest are all good

Hi. We love to stay in here as we can get new experience. The staffs were very helpful and kind. But there are some points that need to be improved. It would be helpful if the hotel sign were made more visible to guests, especially at night. We arrived in the evening and had difficulty locating the hotel because the sign was hard to spot. Then, when we want to use the cutleries, we found there was still dirt on the spoon like they didnt wash it yet. Last, pls consider your 5-6 persons room, i think it seems a bit forced to advertise that the room for 5-6 persons capacity. Thank you! :)
