Una buena experiencia de alojamiento

The room is spacious and clean. The only hiccup was that, at first, we got a room with a double bed despite booking a family room on Trip.com. When I asked the reception staff, she said there was no family room per se in the building, and in the booking that they had, it didn't say that I wanted a family room or how many people would be sleeping in the room. For them, a family room is a room with a double bed and an extra bed. The staff managed to change our room to one with an extra bed ready, so it wasn't a problem.

Evening event dinner was at best poor. Starter which should have been hot was cold, main course just warm, the desert had run out by the time our table was served.  The hotel toilets were in need of an attendant checking regularly .  We ended up laughing about it with references to faulty towers.  However our room was beautiful, clean, well presented, the bed was very comfortable.  We had a great night sleep.  At breckfast the arm of my chair was loose and lifted up when I would go to move my chair in/out from the table.  When I was looking around the continental breckfast counter I could hear a male member of the kitchen staff shouting and swearing using the F word, not at all what I expected from any Hotel.  Lasting impression I would not rush back.

We arrived later afternoon Andy received us with biscuits what a warm welcome. It has a homely feel with old school locking key, had a fish supper which compliments to the chef Peter was fabulous, great dinner atmosphere with other guests at restaurant and bar/lounge. Spacious clean room, quality linen and warm enough one minus next door guy snored through our walls (not hotel's fault). The hot breakfast was served to order which is fab as it gets to you hot and fresh also avoiding waste and dry dull food. So keep it up guys. And keep getting everyone up early enough.

El hotel está situado fuera del centro de la ciudad. El hotel se encuentra a 5 minutos en autobús y a 25 minutos a pie para llegar al centro de la ciudad. La parada de autobús está cerca. No hay muchas opciones de comida cerca del hotel, sólo hay KFC y una tienda de pescado y chips. El hotel es limpio, la habitación está limpia todos los días. El desayuno es estilo Inglés con el mismo menú todos los días. El desayuno se sirve a partir de 7 am que es tarde como tuvimos que coger el entrenador para un viaje de día que comienza del centro de la ciudad a las 7:30. El hotel está en una habitación con desayuno desde Trip.com, pero el hotel no tiene el desayuno que se reserva, ya que el hotel no tiene el desayuno que se reserva. Además de este pequeño problema, la experiencia global fue buena.

The shared kitchen is a big advantage for families and adds to the overall travel experience. The self-service check-in is convenient, and detailed guidance on how to find the house was provided in advance. A small grocery store can be found within a 10-minute walk. I came across some negative comments about the hostel after booking and felt a bit worried. However, it turned out to be a nice place to stay — it's not a 5-star hotel, after all. Free Wi-Fi is available, and the passcode can be found on a noticeboard.

The location is quite good — only around 20 minutes by car from Loch Ness town. Our cabin was the one all the way at the top, overlooking the sheep and cow farms ahead, with a small water stream running beside it, which made the whole place feel really peaceful and relaxing. The cabin itself was spacious, cosy, and clean. However, there are no amenities provided, so make sure to bring everything you may need, such as shower gel, shampoo, etc. There is also only one small towel provided per person, so I’d recommend bringing your own if you have space in your luggage. There is no WiFi, but we did have 4G signal throughout our stay, which was helpful. The shower was excellent, with different settings and perfect water temperature. Just keep in mind that the hot water does run out, and it takes a few hours to heat up again. The only downside for us was the bed, which was not the most comfortable as it sank in the middle.
