Hoteles en Exeter con aparcamiento

We stayed in two King rooms with balconies as a family and overall the hotel has a lot going for it. The location is fantastic — right in the heart of Exeter, perfect for walking everywhere. The hotel itself looks great, especially the sky bar on the top floor. The views are excellent, the drinks are very good, and the service up there was genuinely friendly and attentive. We also grabbed some nibbles in the downstairs restaurant and both the food and service were solid. The rooms were clean, spacious, and the balconies were a nice touch. Everything felt modern and comfortable. The only real downside — and it’s a big one — is the front desk service. For a hotel at this price point (and especially as an IHG property), it really let the whole place down. The staff were slow, not particularly knowledgeable (and I hate to add, not the ”quickest”), and quite short/rude at times. We were told when checking in that we’d get late checkout as IHG members, but when we returned later a different staff member had no idea what we were talking about and seemed confused about how to handle it. She eventually offered only one room until 12pm, which after a 3pm check-in really doesn’t feel like proper late checkout. We travel a lot and the front desk experience here was noticeably below standard. The rest of the hotel (rooms, bar, restaurant, location) is genuinely good, but the poor front-of-house service is what we’ll remember most. Would I stay again? Probably, because of the location and the rooms, but I really hope they sort out the front desk training and attitude.

Reservado a un buen precio en el desayuno. El hotel se acogió a la petición de la habitación, que era agradable. El hotel está muy bien situado. Sólo se trata de que el ruido exterior viene a través de la ventana cerrada ... Un auto cercano hace donuts cerca por 15 minutos a las 1:00 en la noche. El coste de estacionamiento es adicional, lo que es desafortunado esp ya que cobran un tipo descuento de 7 libras ... El restaurante cercano es demasiado caro para las comidas que ofrece ...

Very well placed for the Sandy Park Exeter Chiefs rugby club. The hotel is clean, staff helpful & friendly & maintained to a high standard. Food is a bit expensive but nice. Breakfast is buffet style & has many choices. We use this hotel regularly & recommend it

The location and friendly,helpful staff were excellent.The food quality was as good as the most expensive restaurants we have dined at. The price of the food was less than charged by many other restaurants. Well done The Globe,we will return.

Checkin could have been better, had to fill all details on tablet but these details already provided on booking I presume. Good food service, nice steak. Convenient for our appointment next morning nearby. Would probably stay again if in the area.

El hotel está muy cerca de la estación, por lo que no es difícil tener una maleta. El personal del hotel es muy amable y trata de ofrecerme un buen servicio. La habitación del hotel era buena, pero era incómodo que era un baño compartido. Por supuesto, no había muchos huéspedes y no había secreto, por lo que no había inconveniente en utilizar el baño, pero fue un poco incómodo salir del cuarto de baño y utilizar el baño. Aparte de eso, el desayuno del hotel era bueno, y todo lo demás era bueno.

Our superior king room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Very large bathroom too with a large bath and separate shower cubicle. Bed was very comfortable and the room had lovely views. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. We drove to the hotel from the A38 to the hotel and the lanes were narrow (as are many lanes in Devon and Cornwall) but the drive through Haldon Forest was beautiful. We drove out the other way through Ide village onto the A30 which was a bit wider! Would definitely stay again.

We stayed for just one night. A much better experience than we had expected, given some of the recent reviews. The room was large and clean. The bathroom was also very clean and had a lovely,spacious walk-in shower. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Our only negative was that the car park was absolutely full when we arrived at 3:30pm … and the staff checking us in couldn’t have cared less!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Gissons Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. The room was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The ample on-site parking was a huge plus, making our arrival and daily outings completely hassle-free. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a relaxing and well-managed stay.

Fantastic view of the Exeter countryside from the halls of residence! Room Clean and tidy, buffet breakfast very good! Within walking distance of Exeter town centre, very convenient. Reception very helpful and an accommodating of extra things like hairdryer and fan, would defiantly recommend! Great Value!
