UUsuario anónimoHonestly this is the best hotel I stay during my whole trip in China. Once I enter the lobby to check in they serve us with a tea. One of the lady also know how to speak some English which is good for foreigners. They don't really question us that much regarding our visa like any other hotel. The lobby is also spacious and very nice interior. The room I book for 3 people is so big too it can fit for 4 people. We were given the 8th floor so we get the view of the front of Nanshan. The laundry area is really nice, everything is there! The laundry detergent, the iron. And what I like the most is they have laundry services in which the aayi will help you do your laundry and even fold them for you! 🤗 In our room we also have a sofa which is great! I also ask for a late checkout but they don't have problem with it at all. After check out they gave us another bottle of water. Overall this is the best hotel I've had so far and will definitely stay here again when I came to Zhenjiang!😍 5 STAR!!

Ddr3amieOne word to describe this hotel: AMAZING. A beautiful, clean and luxurious hotel sitting just across the road from the Yangtze River. The tranquil and serenity enveloped me the moment I stepped out of my ride immediately relaxed every cell in my body. The staff are amazing, they actually made it a point to remember which room I stayed in. Got an upgrade and wow, the room was just amazing.
They had a very wide breakfast spread for us to choose from, from the usual english breakfast to Jiangsu's traditional noodles. Be sure to ask for their baby lobster noodles and big bao, just super yummy. We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant the 1st night and tried the delicacies they had. Puffer fish and what they called 长鱼, were really very yummy too.
I really, really, highly recommend this hotel should you want to visit Zheng Jiang. I'll definitely be back again.

JJimdashu¡El conocimiento del servicio es casi nulo! ¡El hotel está dividido en el Edificio 1 y el Edificio 8! ¡Dos puntos de registro completamente diferentes! ¡Probablemente sea normal dar un paso en falso! ¡Los hoteles también están acostumbrados! Pregunté en recepción si había un coche para la entrega. ¡La respuesta es no! Le pregunté en recepción cómo llegar al Edificio 8. ¡Responde más tarde! Después de sacar una caja grande, ¡hay dos camiones de transferencia al lado de la puerta! ¡No sé para qué lo ponen ahí! Cuando llegué a la habitación, pregunté si había servicio de planchado. ¡La respuesta es que tienes que lavar tu ropa antes de poder plancharla! ¡No es necesario planchar solo! Jaja, ¿los que saben que Danyang es Jiangsu, pero los que no lo saben creen que estoy en Guizhou? ¿Al día siguiente nadie vino a limpiar la habitación a las 15:30? ¿No hay una llamada telefónica para preguntar si quieres limpiar? ¡Solo puedo tomar la iniciativa de llamar a la recepción e invitar a la recepción a enviar a alguien para que lo limpie! ¡El conocimiento del servicio es bastante pobre! ¡Los estándares de carga son bastante altos! ¡Dos paquetes por 95.436 yuanes! ¡Tu hotel realmente se atreve a aceptarlo! ¡El llamado primer hotel en Danyang! ¡Qué primera vez! ¡Espero sus continuos esfuerzos!

UUsuario invitadoThis hotel is in the older part of the city and the hotel building is rather old, but the location is excellent being close to major attractions of the city. It is also close to the old railway station. The hotel room is not big, but everything works well making a short stay very comfortable. The hotel staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was basic but included food from every category. All in all, an excellent hotel for a short stay.

UUsuario invitadoAll good except the room service, which I was forced to use, as I had to work late from my room. Ordering was not at all simple (having not spotted the QR code notice on the fridge work top. But response was swift, so too was delivery of the order. However, the ”Ceasar Salad” was sorrowful! Lettuce leaves awash in some sort of watery white fluid, with no discernable taste, some croutons and a few pieces of dried bacon. Especially disappointing given how lovely the fruit and vegetables are most of the time in China. Main course ”Lemon and Herb Chicken” should have been listed as ”Lemon and Herb Skin and Bones”!!! There was virtually NO actual chicken meat. Roated tomatoes and asparagus were lovely, Dessert was uninspiring, but compared to the salad and main course for sure the best course. The Wine? Completely undrinkable. Opened, poured a small amount to taste, spoilt. It happens, sadly! Would be a good idea to open the wine to test before serving

AAnelia35I booked this hotel for my birthday and everything was just perfect. The reception were so kind, they even gave me a gift for my birthday. The room is spacious with a nice big bathtub. The ambiance at the lobby is beautiful and you can relax and read a book. My favorite part was the gym. It was big and cozy. Not forgetting the smart robot that would deliver food to my room. Breakfast was delicious with varieties to choose from. Everything was just perfect. I will surely visit this place again.

GGlenysMGreenTree Inn, Jurong (Jiangsu Province) is an oldie but a goody! I stayed there for 5 nights in late August/early September (2025). At first glance I was a bit dubious, but it turned out to be a really great place to stay. I felt very safe there and in the neighbourhood (day and night) and would stay there again.
Excellent customer service ..… the Reception and cleaning staff were all really friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.
The first room I was allocated smelt of cigarette smoke (no thank you!), but I was immediately moved into a nicer smelling room, which was absolutely spotless, quite large, and had a nice new smart tv, air con, an opening window with a flyscreen and security bars (essential for a ground floor room), nice solid furniture, pure white linen (impressively imprinted with “GreenTree Inn”) and a clean, comfy doona and pillows. A standard hard’ish Chinese bed, but I find them quite comfy.
The old carpet runner along the length of the long ground floor hallway (where my room was) is a relic from way back when, but it was clean and well maintained, as was the rest of the hotel that I could see.
The shower head needed fixing, but that’s an annoyingly common problem in pretty much every budget ＞ mid range hotel I’ve ever stayed in, in China.
The hotel is only about 20 metres from Jurong Chongming Subway Station. Local bus stop almost at the front door (& across the road). The entrance to the old cobbled road (no cars allowed) & all its little shops is across the road at the lights, and a large pharmacy at the entrance (near the “archway”). Electric scooters galore to hire (via the AliPay or WeChat apps) outside the subway. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance once you get past the trades shops (plumbing supplies etc).
My only gripe about GreenTree Inn Jurong (& this is a gripe I have for many hotels etc throughout China) is that smoking is allowed on the premises. I think it’s the worst it’s been since 2002 when I first started travelling to China. It’s awful walking into foyers and lifts that reek of cigarette smoke, and copping wafts of the smoke along hallways from smokers in their rooms (& ashtrays at lift entrances), and horrible arriving tired after a long flight and long trek from airports etc, only to discover you then have to request a room change to escape the smoke, and start all over again. No matter how accommodating the staff are, I could easily do without that hassle and the horrible smell.
In my opinion, hotels etc in China need to up their game where that’s concerned, and follow the lead of the many countries which have banned cigarette smoking in all public buildings (including hotels), all public indoor and outdoor spaces, anywhere near children and shopping centres, on and near public transport etc etc etc.
