From the moment we arrived, we were completely charmed. What makes this place special for me is its sincerity. The young owners, Lixia and Haibo, are such a lovely, talented, and hard-working couple who got married not long ago and have just opened this beautiful homestay together. Their passion and warmth are everywhere. Haibo is a professional photographer and an incredible cook – every meal he prepared for us was fresh, seasonal, and absolutely delicious. Lixia is just as amazing: super energetic, thoughtful, and incredibly talented behind the camera. They also have the sweetest dog named One Two Three – a patient and gentle soul who quickly became our favorite companion. She joined Lixia in accompanying us around the village and along the ancient trails, adding even more joy to our walks. What truly blew us away was the photography and videos Lixia made for us. While we explored, she quietly captured the most beautiful shots of us among the old stone houses and ancient trails. At the end of our stay, she surprised us with two wonderfully edited short videos that perfectly captured the joy and laughter of our weekend. I’ve stayed at hundreds of places around the world and have never received anything like this – it’s a memory we’ll treasure forever. The rooms are spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated with local touches. Every small detail – from the welcome fruit basket to the cozy fireplace at night – shows how much love and effort this young couple puts into making guests feel truly at home. Highly recommend this place. No children and very quiet. The host will share good tea and chat with you all day if you like. Of course you will also get to see the famous cat, who is very chill. Clouds are always moving around and touching the mountain tops. Very pleasant views. ***Make sure to try the fish dish at the “small” restaurant upstairs from the hotel-the one with the red lanterns. Food is excellent. *** 15-20 minute walk to Chanjiapu and half hour to Xikeng.

The hotel is in central location, walking distance to the old part of town and surrounded by food options. All rooms face a busy intersection with traffic and commerce noise starting early in the morning until 10pm. Windows will block part of noise but not all. Gym is just a pair of treadmills, don't expect a workout space. Staff is very attentive and willing to help. Beds, pillows and sheets are comfortable and the shower is good. However, if you are not a smoker, I don't recommend staying here, nor in any other Ji hotel. I travel extensively and tried Ji hotels in several Chinese cities from North to South. They are consistent with service, cleanliness and bed comfort, but all of them have a major issue of not enforcing the non smoking rule, and besides that, their air conditioner system brings smokey air from different rooms directly into yours. It is a pity. Unfortunately, beautiful China is full of selfish smokers. We need better enforcement and at least air purifiers in each room.

世外桃源，離松莊村很近，但又遠離遊客的喧鬧。老闆是手工匠人，親自打造的每一個房間都特別有韻味且實用，房間特別乾淨，洗澡水大，網絡也好，老闆娘姐姐做的菜絕了，每一道都很美味，這裏幾乎挑不出毛病，住的太舒適了。村裡的阿姨叔叔們都很親切，還有呆萌狗狗嚮導小白，粘人的小饞狗，給我們帶來很多樂趣，強烈推薦住在這裏！

We had a fantastic time here, Oubao is a great host! Songyang was unknown to us, but we truly enjoyed it. As guests we could sample some tea and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in a beautiful setting. Although this hotel is in a historic neighborhood and building, the rooms have all modern amenities you need. I really recommend this place for anybody staying in Songyang, I’m definitely going back there again!
