Hoteles en Qufu con aparcamiento

I was pleasantly surprised when offered an upgrade during the check-in. The surroundings of the place were tastefully decorated, creating an overall relaxing feel for the place. The owners were very hospitable. We had an enjoyable tea tasting session in the evening, where the generous and big hearted owners offered several varieties of tea, a few of which were quite well aged for more than 20 years.

Qufu was one of our favourite places and so was this interesting hotel! Right opposite the city wall and near the gate for the changing of the guard and lightshow, and of course the famous Confucius temple and mansion. The hotel seems all dedicated to promote the ancient values and arts, the villas are exciting to explore and the furnishings are gorgeous, full of details, at the same time clearly designed to be high quality accommodation, and extremely spacious. Also the restaurant is a delight and breakfast a real treat. Our stay was a highlight in so many ways, not least thanks to the friendly and passionate staff, thanks a lot!

I chose this hotel for its amazing architecture and also because the interior design is by a Singaporean firm (yes, Singaporean pride! And yes, I’m the guest from Singapore). Qufu is a small town and the hometown of Confucius, and everyone has an endearing way of addressing each other as Teacher or Laoshi here, as 子曰：三人行必有我师 ie we can learn something from everyone. I dare say the JW Marriott is one of the best options in international hotels here aside from the Shang, but Marriott is more conveniently located to the Confucius Temple site and main tourist attractions. I love the 孔门豆腐 here; I had it twice during my short stay. There is a nice story behind the dish; let the server tell you about it. The one who served me was lovely. I asked her if I could record her introducing the dish; she was a little shy and said her Putonghua is not standard (yes, the local people talk with a thick Qufu accent, so if you are out of town, ask them to repeat to you slowly in Putonghua or use a translator), but she allowed me to record anyway. Charming place.

It was a wonderful stay. The hotel's location is perfect for those who want to explore Qufu. It is located merely 5 minutes walk from the Confucius temple, and a 10 minute walk from the Kong family mansion. It is inside the walled perimeter but it is fairly easy to walk to cafes and restaurants from here. Above everything, the family running the place and Jasmine - their daughter who speaks wonderful English - are a great and kind hosts. The rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable. I will definitely be happy to stay again.

Outstanding. I rarely give a hotel 5/5 but if I could give this hotel 6/5 I would. It’s great value for money. Hotel is very new and comfortable. Breakfast is fantastic and it’s just across the road from the key attraction in Qufu. Perfect to be honest.

The main reason for our stay in Qufu was, of course, Confucius, and this hotel has a good location: we could easily walk to the Temple, envy as in with the mansion, then ride a horse pulled cart to the cemetery. Contract fulfilled. The sport place, across the street had fun night activities, and there were a lot of eateries, cheap and delicious, on the block The hotel itself shows its age with some deferred maintenance, such as a rusted parts in the bathroom, a sub-optimal laundry room, and some lacking service: for example, the tea and coffee bags in the room, an Atour highlight, were not replenished, and we were not offered water upon departure. Great breakfast, as always.

La ubicación es buena, caminando a tres barcos por diez minutos, puede ver el paisaje en la carretera, hay más pequeños hoteles alrededor, hay un estacionamiento en el patio trasero del hotel, también en la puerta, la habitación debe estar decorada casi dos años, el espacio está bien, la habitación está tranquila en el área pequeña, y la manguera seguirá viviendo aquí.

No recuerdo haber visto ninguna reseña que dijera que mi buena impresión de Qufu se debía en gran parte a este albergue juvenil, y creo que es cierto. He viajado mucho solo, pero nunca antes me había asustado tanto el constante bombardeo de vendedores persiguiéndome en las atracciones populares de Qufu. Con inquietud, encontré Alley Cat. Tienen voluntarios y un ambiente cálido, donde nos reunimos alrededor de la chimenea para charlar y calmar los sudores fríos que había estado sintiendo. Me alegró mucho tener tanto de qué hablar con todos, y las sábanas y las fundas nórdicas se cambiaban cada vez. Si te gustan los albergues juveniles, ¡no te lo pierdas!
