Hoteles en Luoyang con aparcamiento

I stayed one night at the May fourth hostel. The staff was very friendly and spoke English. Location: After the staff, the location was the best aspect of this hostel. It is location close to a big shopping mall and also relatively close to the Mingtang Paradise Scenic Area. Room: Small and modern. The placement of the light switches, aircon control and hangers was convenient. The room got a little bit stuffy, but this is normal with these small hostel boxes. Cleanliness: The room was clean when I arrived and the bedding was put on. For hostel standards, the shower + toilet area were clean and got cleaned regularly. Quietness: Room was quiet. I did not hear noise from the hallway / other rooms. All in all, I highly recommend staying at the may fourth hostel.

Problem 1. I arrived at the hotel shortly after 4pm on the checkin day but learned that the room was not available. They rented it out for the hourly rental and told me that the guest just checked out and would take 20 minutes to clean the room for me. I was stuned! As the check in time is 2pm, how could they rent the room out without knowing it was reserved for nightly rental and it only took 20 minutes to clean a room? This kind of operatons is not acceptable. Though the staff was friendly and apologizingly to provide me another type of room, the bed size ( twins) and the window view (no view) were all different and not better. At first I considered to switch what they offered at the time of my arrival because I was very tired. But then I decided to wait because the new room was not better. Problem 2. At night, when I took a shower, I realized that the water stored in the shower floor like a little basin. It didn't and couldn't get complete dry even till next morning. See photo. The moles have alreay formed a cycle for a period of the time, but the hotel didn't fix it and still rented it. Problem 3. Another day, I couldn't turn the heater on. The staff then told me they turned the heater off at the end of March. I will NOT recommend this hotel to other travelers.

We had a very pleasant 4 night stay at the Banshan Siji Hotel in Luoyang. The resort is beautiful and secluded, away from all of the hustle and bustle of downtown Luoyang while remaining accessible. The location is very convenient to the high speed rail station, Longmen Grottoes, Guang Lin Temple and Peony Museum. It’s a bit further away to get to White Horse Temple, Lintang Gate and Luoyi Ancient City. However, the hotel offers a very convenient and comfortable private shuttle for train/airport transfer and a daily trips to or from town. Above all, I have to commend the team at this hotel for their excellent service and extremely friendly attitude. Everyone went out of their way to offer assistance for any of our needs and always with a smile. A huge bonus - they offered a complementary same-day laundry service which we used several times during our stay taking care of a major hassle on extended travels. From the reception, front desk, porters, drivers and housekeepers, we received top notch service rivalling hotels we’ve stayed at worldwide. The breakfast also deserves special mention. The selection was not as extensive as buffets at some major hotels but the quality was excellent and we found it to be more than enough to start each day before sightseeing. In addition to a small self serve area, you can order large bowls soup or noodles and they also provide a beautiful tray of delicacies. We very much enjoyed each day’s breakfast. Finally, the room we stayed in, with a private hot spring tub and private patio was spacious, clean, modern and beautiful. We enjoyed use the tub after full days of sightseeing to ease aching muscles and the bed was very comfortable. On our final night, we did experience a problem with a light switch not turn lights but the staff were quick to provide us another room so we could get to sleep. Another great example of their dedication to quality service. Overall, I was very pleased to have discovered this beautiful gem in Luoyang and it made our visit to this wonderful city that much more special and memorable.

Firstly the reason why my wife and I decided on this boutique hotel was to sample the overall standard of the new crop of small locally operated boutique hotels springing out over China. Generally happy with our choice and decision. We were greeted upon checking in and daily when we went out and coming back by the young man who was managing the establishment. A great personal touch was that he actually came out of his office and greeted us at the courtyard with a ready smile. Location was good as it was relatively near to Longmen Grotto and also the famous lamb soup for breakfast (we were given complimentary vouchers for our first day breakfast by the hotel. Although the place was across the road from the hotel, we had to walk about 1.1km each way as the crossing could only be made at the traffic light zebra crossing. One ”romantic” feeling my wife and I had was hearing the low rumbling of the freight train transversing across the hotel. It reminded us of staying in the English countryside and hearing the train in the distance. Light sleepers might find this distracting but we are h eavy sleepers. Another selling point of this hotel was the well manicured courtyard planted with lots of different varieties of flowering plants and trees. It was an excellent place for us to relax in the late afternoon after some heavy sightseeing. The only downside and hopefully the hotel operator can improve is that the floor of the room seems to be a bit dusty because the floor towel in the washroom started to show stains of dust. However, everything else is clean especially the important items like bedding and towels. Strawberries were bought after visiting Erlitou Archaeological Museum and Site

Un hotel fantástico para alojarse si quieres visitar las Grutas. Está a 500 metros de la entrada, justo al final del precioso puente. Reservamos la Suite Familiar y era un apartamento enorme, con mucho espacio y un balcón exterior muy bonito. El personal fue atento y amable, y nos proporcionaron un coche gratuito para ir al tren de alta velocidad al final del recorrido. Lo recomiendo sin duda.

Instalaciones: Un estándar normal de cinco estrellas. Higiene: Muy limpio. Ambiente: Hay un centro comercial a poca distancia, y está bastante cerca de la estación de metro. Se tarda unos 20 minutos en taxi hasta la Puerta de Yingtian, las Grutas de Longmen, la Ciudad Antigua de Luoyi o la estación de tren de alta velocidad de Longmen.
