UUsuario invitadoA hidden gem. I don't even want to share this review to make this hotel too popular! As a person who doesn't speak very good Chinese, the staff at this hotel were very accommodating despite the language barrier. When you first arrive at the hotel, you are greeted by a creative garden complete with outdoor dining areas, swings, a fish tank, and more. On check in, the receptionist was very attentive to all of my questions and directed me to the places I asked about through wechat. It was very easy to follow the directions. I was also offered a spread of fresh fruit to enjoy before settling in my room. The room was spacious and clean and had the most advanced toilet that I have ever used! There was a wide open window for a beautiful view of the dialou across the pond. The suite of amenities was also much appreciated, including snacks, toiletries, and slippers. A highlight of this hotel is the breakfast. They not only provide the standard Chinese breakfast fare such as porridge and pastries, but also served local kaiping specialties. They also have food you can order off of a menu but I didn't have anything during my stay. Upon checkout I was also given a goodie bag filled with local specialties and treats which was much appreciated!

UUsuario invitadoAcabamos de pasar dos noches muy agradables aquí mientras visitábamos todas las comunidades diaolou de la zona. La ubicación es excelente, a unos 2 km de Zili y a poca distancia a pie de Li Yuan. Otros grupos de diaolou están a 10-20 minutos. El servicio fue amable y muy servicial durante toda nuestra visita. Se desvivieron por atendernos. Disfrutamos de un desayuno con fideos con carne y huevos al té el primer día y, el segundo, un sencillo desayuno buffet con congee, boniatos, fideos y maíz. La habitación era muy bonita, con tecnología de punta y muy cómoda. Las camas eran un poco duras para nosotros. Ese fue el único inconveniente. Nos encantó el espacio al aire libre, con mucho espacio para pasar el rato durante el día y la noche. En resumen, una estancia excelente en Kaiping.

UUsuario invitadoBeautiful inn in a lovely tranquil location. We had a wonderful stay. The inn itself is absolutely gorgeous and we had a great time just sitting in the lobby area. Service is great; they helped us with our luggage up the second floor (only stairs here). The area is nice and quiet, but convenient - we walked 15 mins to Li Yuan and it was easy to book a DiDi car anywhere. There is a free shuttle bus between Li Yuan, the other Diao Lou villages and Chikan Ancient Town which was very convenient. Breakfast was lovely and so nicely presented, and the nice lady kept telling us we could ask for more.

MMPDurivouMy wife and I stayed at this hotel for about a week after she had fallen Ill. Thanks to the incredible and kind staff, my wife and I pulled through this tough time as foreigners in China. They helped us with our visits to the hospital, helped my wife get everything she needed to get better and were always available, even late at night.
The Kaiping Tagin Hotel is also great if you're not sick at all. The hotel is very clean and safe with spacious and modern rooms. It is in a beautiful location with great views and many things to do nearby like walking paths, watchtowers, coffee shops and many historical sights only a bike ride away. Breakfast and dinner food are varied and delicious. I only wish I could give a higher rating!

Iing57We booked 3 rooms for a night, and all rooms were spacious and clean! 2 of the rooms that we got were equipped with mini washing machine and this is really convenient for us! The hotel is quite near to the main entrance of Chikan ancient town, and there's 1 convenient store within walking distance.

However it looked a little run down and rough.
Room 308 was huge but didn't feel cozy.
It was cold at night and the heater was not working well.
There is a bad sound isolation so I could hear every word that the people next to my room spoke.
The young female receptionist that checked me in when I arrived was very helpful.
She managed to rent an E- bike for me ! She deserves 5 stars for that.
The location is alright, near some coffeeshops and restaurants and close to Zili and Li Garden historical sites.

UUsuario invitadoI selected this hotel because its package specifically featured two live performances held inside Chikan Ancient Town, and indicated that tickets for these shows could be collected at the hotel front desk—implying that the package included special VIP tickets for both events.
However, upon check-in, the receptionist informed me that the hotel does not provide any special tickets for the two shows to its guests. If I wished to secure VIP seating for the fire show, I would need to pay an additional fee at the venue entrance. This constitutes a clear misrepresentation. Had the hotel package not prominently highlighted these two performances and stated that tickets could be picked up at the front desk, I would not have chosen this hotel for my trip.
Although the rooms were clean, comfortable, and quite spacious, the overall service level of the staff was merely average.

LLoves TravelNos encantaba visitar el diaoloso, pero el único autobús de Shunde a Kaiping se fue a las 14:00! El tipo en la recepción sentía nuestra dolor y nos dio sugerencias útiles sobre lo que hacer mientras estuvimos allí.
La ubicación del hotel es excelente, justo al lado de la estación de autobús, el río y la calle con oro(mercados) en ambos lados de la división.
Sin embargo, el hotel mismo había visto días mejores.
