We were looking for an experience in a rural village away from the usual tourist tracks, and this was the perfect place for it. The host was incredibly welcoming and generous with his time. He shared a lot about Miao culture and traditions, and took us around the village to show us where he grew up and where he and his family live. He kindly helped us with transportation to the station, and his brother prepared a delicious dinner made from locally grown ingredients. The accommodation itself is comfortable, clean, and has attention to details. Surrounded by the beautiful nature of hills and fields, it felt both peaceful and authentic. We truly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this wonderful place!

Tras haber visitado numerosos hoteles y pensiones en Kaili, este es sin duda el mejor de la ciudad. Se encuentra a menos de un kilómetro de la estación del tren de alta velocidad, una ubicación inmejorable con autobuses directos a atracciones turísticas cercanas como el casco antiguo de Xiasi, el río Xijiang y Zhenyuan. El diseño del hotel es precioso; se nota que el propietario tiene un gusto exquisito. Las habitaciones son amplias, limpias y las instalaciones son nuevas. La cama era especialmente cómoda; dormí profundamente hasta la mañana. El día de mi llegada, me obsequiaron con fruta y té de la tarde para dos. Todo el personal del hotel fue increíblemente amable; hice muchas preguntas, ya que era mi primera vez en Kaili, y las respondieron todas satisfactoriamente. Very clean and nice rooms with all amenities. Front desk staff were really helpful and even gave us hand warmers on the day we left because it was cold. Good buffet breakfast spread. There is also afternoon tea (we were out and about so didn’t get to try it) and there is some food available in the evening which we had one night and was good. Free laundry which was great. Location was perfect for exploring local Miao villages by day trip without having to move on every day. It is walking distance to the market street and pedestrian food street. The museum is also walking distance but was closed when we were there.

This homestay in Xiasi Ancient Town was probably my favorite place we stayed during our trip. The property has a charming farmhouse feel blended with modern comfort. Inside, the design is clean and updated, while outside you step into a rustic, peaceful setting with plants growing around the courtyard and a small pond that makes it feel like you’re staying on a quiet farm. The beds were extremely comfortable, the room temperature was perfect, and the views were lovely and calming. The owner was very kind and welcoming, and we enjoyed delicious rice noodles for breakfast. Xiasi Ancient Town itself is super cute and worth exploring, and staying here made the experience even more special. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a peaceful, cozy, and memorable stay.

All the friendly Reception Counter staffs including the Supervisor were cheerfully receiving us. The Supervisor chatted with us making us so welcomed while her staffs were busy registering us. The cleansing staff greeted us when they saw us walking to our room. The hotel is super clean and looks classy. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The beds were large and comfortable to sleep on. We regret that we had only two days stay in Kaili. We checked out with poignancy. This beautiful hotel is highly recommended. We will definitely come back to this unforgettable Hotel again the next time we visit Kaili.

La habitación estaba muy limpia, era espaciosa y cómoda. El precio era razonable, la vista era impresionante y el ambiente era muy tranquilo. Las almohadas bajas eran perfectas para mí. El servicio de habitaciones también fue excelente; recogieron la basura y ordenaron la habitación rápidamente. La zona está ubicada en una de las zonas más animadas de Kaili City, muy cerca de la calle Zhongbo Snack, un centro comercial, Guomao y la calle Dongmen. La zona comercial está muy desarrollada y se pueden encontrar fácilmente diversos snacks y restaurantes recomendados a poca distancia. Kaili no tiene mucha publicidad; las tiendas recomendadas en Xiaohongshu (una red social china) son bastante fiables. También hay un salón de masajes tailandeses cerca, a solo unos cientos de metros, lo cual fue excelente. Se puede regresar rápidamente al hotel para descansar. ¡La ubicación del hotel es fantástica! La camiseta de Kaili Village también es muy bonita; es un lugar ideal para hacer turismo.

We were positively surprised about Kaili as a city, which was recommended to us mainly as a base for discovering the minority villages but turned out to be a rather nice city with kind people and lots of super delicious street food. The homestay was super hard to find initially and we would have been grateful about a message in advance to guide us as we were looking for it for quite a while. But once we found it we exchanged WeChat with the stuff and could always write for anything that came up, which was super helpful. There was also the possibility to store our luggage after check out, which we appreciated. Just around the corner is a sweet lively restaurant with delicious food and very kind staff. We got exactly the room that we had chosen in advance which is nice, given that they have unique interior.

Amazing hotel in a great location in Kaili center. Close to lots of food and bar options, as well as shopping. Also close to bus station. This hotel is very comfortable to stay at as a foreigner, they have many aspects similar to Western hotels that aren’t commonly found in China, like offering free ice, coffee, softer beds, etc. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are meticulously clean and have very modern amenities like automatic lights and a smart toilet. There’s also a balcony which is great to relax on. My only advice is that I had a bit of trouble finding the location, it would be good if they could give instructions on how to find the hotel.
