Hotel Odeon Saint-Germain

Room was very nice. Amazing shower and steam bath. Air conditioning was great. Efficient space. Nice big closet

One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed. Hotel is perfectly Parisian. The inside is dark and cosy but the rooms are light and airy. Comfy beds. Even the my daughter’s ‘sofa’ bed was very comfy. Shower was lovley, with rain fall head. Good selection of toiletries. Staff were friendly and always happy to help. We didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel as wanted to explore the local area. Location was perfect. 5-10 minute walk to river - Pont nerf (depending on how many shops or cafes you stop off in). It was perfect for our family but could also see that it would be a lovely romantic hotel. Everything about it was amazing - could not recommend highly enough.

The room was tiny, as expected, but the bathroom was large. WIFI was reliably strong. All staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. Great location.

Rooms were a little small for my liking. But the friendly staff made up for that. they were accommodating in all areas and helpful with taxis, etc.

Lovely little hotel in the heart of Paris. Close to lots of restaurants, cafés, shops and metro in the lively Odeon area. But the hotel itself was very peaceful and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast simple but good, nice products from L'Occitane in the bathroom.

The picture shown here on the main page does not resemble the room we received. We arrived at the hotel in the evening, it was dark inside and outside. The receptionist escorted us to our room on the second floor, we went up the stairs to the first floor and from there we squeezed into the most crowded elevator in the universe to go up one floor.. Of course we didn't use it anymore and always went up on foot. The room is small,bathroom is small , crowded, dark, carpets, heavy curtains... Those who are allergic or looking for modern and pleasant design is not the place for them (like me). In the morning the small lobby turns into a dining room, a nice little breakfast. And the biggest advantage is the fantastic location of the hotel. Close to the Luxembourg Gardens, St. Germain Street in the center of the Latin Quarter.. but in my opinion not a 4 star hotel at all. There is no coffee machine or bottle of water in the room.. there is barely room for one suitcase. A really small closet. The hotel has only 25 rooms. And on the last day we had to take the luggage down the stairs ourselves. We chose this hotel based on recommendations we saw about the hotel and the high rating of the reviews, but unfortunately I cannot recommend the hotel except for the great location

I won’t recommend this hotel at all. For the price paid, almost 330 EUR per night, it’s not a 4 star hotel. The rooms are one of the smallest I have ever seen, we have been assigned a room where at 30C degrees outside, there was no air conditioning working. In summer. (We learned later at the check-In other guests had the same trouble in other rooms). After my complain, the reception guy told us they also gave us an upgrade. Thanks ! But we can not sleep in a room in summer with no working air conditioning. They told us to check another room which was exactly with no air condition and even smaller. The third room assigned, after almost 4 hours, finally was working. The room are quite dark and small as I said. We staid 3 nights and the sleepers we used given from another hotel were white and become black. Imagine the cleanness of the floors in the rooms… The breakfast is an insult. Cornflakes (1 TYPE ONLY) in small packed mini boxes. 1 bowl of fruit. (go early or it will end soon.) Eggs only boiled by yourself. I asked for scrambled eggs and they told me I had to pay an extra to get them….(WE ARE TALKING ABOUT A 4 STAR HOTEL WHICH COSTS 330 EUR PER NIGHT…) 1 coffe. Croissants empties. BREAD, SOME MARMELADE , Yogurt. That’s it. Tables so small you have to use the chairs nearby to put the cornflakes packages and the empty plates cause NONE will ever come to ask for anything. They won't assist you. We had to leave early on the last day and we asked if we could have a bag from the breakfast we paid anyway. The result: two MINI croissants for me and my partner, wrapped in a paper towel. Embarassing. Go somewhere else !

This is a sweet hotel in the middle of St. Germaine. The room size is typical of most Paris hotels. But they utilize the space perfectly. Staff is top notch. I felt safe and secure which is what I needed most.
