Me gustaba mi estancia en ibis Lugano Paradiso, pero la selección de desayuno era bastante modesta, pero en consonancia con el estándar ibis. En el hotel de Lugano, los precios de los hoteles se redujo un poco en los días previos a mi llegada, pero decidí mantener mi reserva en el ibis Lugano Paradiso debido a su ubicación ideal. Sin embargo, dado el acceso a todo Lugano, si devolviera, consideraría quedarme en otro lugar en interés del valor por dinero.

While the overall stay was comfortable the service especially the front desk was disappointing. For starters the reception has a welcome drink which guests can consume when they arrive, however if a guest wants to have it otherwise - they are expressly stopped by the front office staff staring that ‘you can drink only at check- in not otherwise’. Wow! I found that rude and shocking. 0 points on hospitality for that. Late checkout - no flexibility to checkout late even by 30 mins. The front desk staff kept calling us inspite of a request to checkout at 12 noon latest 12.15 pm but no later. If you’re sitting in the lobby waiting to leave for your next meeting after checking out the looks from the staff were as if you’re unwanted. Your stay is over Just Get Out - don’t hover around. Complimentary drinks at the bar - served as if they’re doing us a favour and if you don’t consume the drinks the same as on checking in the front office staff will confirm with bar whether you have indeed consumed the complimentary drinks or not before renewing or issuing a fresh voucher! They don’t trust you and take your word for it! I personally found that offensive.

Nos quedamos aquí por una noche mientras viajamos del Reino Unido a Italia. Nos comenzó mala suerte. Nos encontramos en medio de algunas obras de carretera fuera del hotel y en la zona circundante. A la recepción se sugirió que entramos en el parque de coches del hotel a través de una entrada diferente, en lugar de la entrada a una distancia de la recepción en el hotel. La recepción no estaba muy consciente de las obras de carretera y continuó mostrandome vagamente en el mapa cómo llegar a la otra entrada del parque de coches. ¡Me llevó 25 minutos encontrar la vía correcta para la entrada del parque de coches debido a las desviaciones, las obras de carretera y el tráfico! Luego, llegó a la habitación que habíamos sido asignados - había reservado una habitación deluxe (para 3 personas a través de hotels.com) - esto no era una habitación deluxe, aunque mucho más grande era un apartamento de piso con 2 dormitorios separados sin aire acondicionado y un salón ¡A la vista de las temperaturas del día en el momento fueron 33-34 grados, no nos quedaba dormir una buena noche! Al final los problemas de la habitación se resolveron, los recepcionistas de la mañana nos proporcionaron una bebida gratuita en el bar por las inconvenientes causadas, sin embargo, podría haber sido evitado si me hubiera dado la habitación que había reservado desde el principio y mejor La habitación está muy bien, pero no es muy fácil.

Positives: The location of the hotel is so tranquil. Beautiful just after sunrise or sunset. The SPA is amazing, with emotional shower, sauna, turkish sauna, relaxation room, massage area, fitness studio, indoor pool with cold and hot jacuzzis, and outdoor pool with a heated outdoor hot tub (both closed on this occasion, unfortunately). Plenty of towels in SPA area. Tea/water facilities available. Perfect facilities for relaxation. The shower in the room is something every person needs in their life: one feels like a newborn after it. Especially useful when SPA area is closed but one needs to relax after a long day :) We checked in very late (was a very spontaneous decision) and were welcomed in an appropriate manner - the last time we were treated like we didn't belong there (!). We enquired about a late checkout possibility, but were told to ask the next day. After some relaxing spa we did - and were offered to stay longer free of charge as it was Easter weekend. We checked out at 1 (instead of 11), meaning we had 2 more hours to enjoy the SPA area. Very grateful for this accommodation. Robes available in the room. Secure underground parking, free of charge. Complimentary bottles of water in the room and at checkout, a nice touch. Negatives: The breakfast is not great. This is our second stay and we are underwhelmed - we had better breakfast spread/quality in 3-4 star hotels before. There's no quark, cereal selection is poor, no Nutella, coffee is not good at all. The SPA area is open only between 8 am and 8 pm, meaning no late chilling in the jacuzzi. For a 5 star resort I would imagine this should be available 24/7 or at least till 10 pm. As mentioned previously, the lift system is bad, meaning one has to wait very long to use the lift to access the SPA/Restaurant/outdoor swimming pool.

Nos recogió un chofer desde la estación del tren (15min sin tráfico), él muy cordial y nos dió buenos tips para pasar un lindo fin de semana en Lugano. Buena ubicación en primera linea frente al lago lugano, la atencion en la Recepcion muy cordial, nos entregaron un ticket para usar el BUS gratuitamente durante toda nuestra estadía, tambien un ticket para descuento para subir al Mirador de San Salvatore... Ubicado a cinco minutos caminando del centro histórico de la ciudad. Las habitaciones cómodas y espaciosas, tomamos con balcon vistas al lago y nos recibieron con una botella de champagna (incluida), aseo diariamente, con batas y pantunflas, el minibar con botellas de agua incluida (solo ello) Con una terraza muy amplia y con vista al lago, muy buena atencion, no dejamos de ir cada noche a disfrutar de musica con DJ y tambien el dia q disfrutamos de la piscina tomamos un coctel... En el Desayuno en otra terraza con vista parcial al lago (por los arboles), buena atencion, no habia buffet, no sé si sería por el problema del CoronaVirus o quizas ese es su estilo, igual solicitas al mesero lo q deseas pedir, pero haz tu pedido en el mismo momento de lo contrario para q el mesero retorne nuevamente tomará algo de tiempo. La Piscina amplia, limpia y en orden; con un Jackusy al lado, y la vista del lago y atencion del Bar en la Terraza... Hotel Recomendable!!!

Justo al lado de la estación del teleférico. El teleférico tarda tres minutos en llegar a la estación de tren. El hotel dispone de una tarjeta gratuita para el teleférico. Bebidas calientes, calientes y gratis en el lobby. Wangzhong está callado. El restaurante comercial de los alrededores es muy conveniente, a pocos pasos del lago. Recomendado para quedarse. Pero reservé una habitación de lujo, que es más grande que un escritorio, y es el precio más alto en varios precios. Pero la habitación ordinaria que ofrece el hotel no tiene escritorio. Soy demasiado vago para decirlo. El próximo precio se reservará al precio más bajo.

Is was a loverly experiance due to the fact, that not only the hotel is build and decorated with tast, but also the staff was very helpfull and caring. It feels like one is in a privat home and not hotel, because there are only 18 rooms. We liked that quiet feeling and the few is breathtaking, specialy at night or in the morning.

The location of the hotel is excellent, large rooms, exceptional cleanliness Very kind staff, both at the reception and at the breakfast, which was great. I would like to mention especially Barbara De Girrolamo (guest relations), who was exceptional in her professionalism, patience and the recommendations we received regarding what to see, how to travel and where to eat.she is the best !!!

Well..... where do I start, this is one of the most breath taking places I have ever visited in the world. I booked this for my daughters 30th birthday it was her choice to go to Switzerland, neither of us had visited this part of the world before and it far exceeded our expectations. It took a plane, train and a taxi to get us to the hotel so a bit of a journey but sooooooo worth it. We flew to Milan, took a train to Lugano and got a cab up to the hotel. Tip catch the 444 bus from the train station, it so much cheaper than a cab and the bus drops you right outside the hotel, we used the bus every time after that to go down to the town. The hotel itself is stunning, the views are amazing, you have to see them to believe the photos do not capture the utter beauty of this place. You will also notice the peace, all you can hear is birdsong, it is absolute heaven. The hotel staff are amazing, they could not be more helpful. We has lots of questions and time and again they helped even printing bus time tables and giving us maps and tips. We had a welcome prosecco on arrival and then went to find our room. WOW! and what a room We had been upgraded from a garden room to a room with a view of the lake and a wrap around balcony. My daughter opened the balcony door and almost burst with excitement, it was amazing. We had a twin room which was large and super bathroom and even the view from the loo. The room was clean and comfortable, there is a safe, fridge and kettle. You are provided with robes, slippers and even a bag to pop your bits in when using the spa. This hotel has thought of everything. I could write a 10,000 word review on this hotel there is so much to say. The infinity pool is warm and you lean your elbows up on the side and just stare at that view. There is an amazing indoor pool which you can swim into from the outside pool through automatic doors. Tip give the sensors a little wave and the doors open quicker. We had two treatments in the Dot spa a massage on one day and a facial on the other, both fabulous and the staff in the spa are great. Breakfast was included in our room rate and had so much choice. We eat in the restaurant for lunch a dinner but also had room service and dinner on our balcony which was lovely and a little bit cheaper to. The view every where are fantastic, it takes 30 minute to get up the mountain so you are very high. There is a little airport way below and we loved watching the planes take off over the lake and we were still way above them. We took a walk through the Algra mountain one morning and whilst it is challenging (its very steep) it is so beautiful and worth the climb. I could say so much more but I think you should just go and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed you will come away feeling on top of the world. My daughter loved it so much she is going to return with her husband for their 10th wedding anniversary. Thank you so much Kurhaus we had the best time.
