Me and my partner stayed here for two nights while travelling around Australia. Really well situated for access to the ferry onto the city. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean, with a very quaint colonial feel. Breakfast was a basic, cold buffet style, but had everything we needed before setting off into the city. We would stay again if in Brisbane. Steve and Christina

The accommodation was just perfect for us! The bed was very comfortable! The breakfast was just great - with adequate indoor or outdoor seating. The owner (Phillip) was great at helping us tour Brisbane and was really nice to chat about all things with.

We chose Edward Lodge as we wanted to stay in inner Brisbane, but not in the CBD itself. This was the perfect compromise, as we could park the car in the street and catch the ferry into the city. We had a ground floor room that was a good size. Bathroom was a bit small, but the shower was good. Breakfast was included in the tariff and there was cereal, toast, juice, fruit and coffee. Recommended if you want to stay just outside the CBD.

Thanks to Phillip the host. He was really great to deal with and very accomodating. We had a truck and there was a park right out front he saved for us. He made the stay feel really homely. If we ever have to come back to this area we will def stay again. Thanks Phillip 😊

We had a very pleasant 3 night stay at Edward Lodge - comfortable, quiet, spotlessly clean and a very welcoming and helpful host. Continental breakfast was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed walking in the area as well as easy access (5 min walk) to the CityCat ferry that took us to CBD as well as Southbank areas. Highly recommend!

I stayed in a Queen room on the ground floor of this lovely lodge in Brisbane’s Newfarm neighbourhood. The room was large, beautifully decorated with a tropical summer vibe and a modern bathroom. Loved the residential location but still close enough to anything you need to do in Brisbane. Some great riverfront walks nearby , a great park, and nearby on James St there are glam restaurants , bakeries , a cinema and Australian designer shops. Also a farmers market on Saturday. Recommended and would love to stay again.
