Hay estacionamiento gratuito y seguridad en la puerta, como todos los hoteles de Maodao. Llegamos justo a tiempo para el huracán. No podíamos hacernos a la mar en días de lluvia. El hotel también tenía muchas instalaciones de entretenimiento. Tenis de mesa, fútbol, arena, voleibol y billar. La señal WIFI en la habitación es muy débil, solo la señal del balcón es muy fuerte. Me pregunto si la instalación se vio afectada por el huracán. La playa está abajo, pero la señal WIFI es muy fuerte. Hay muchos bancos de peces no muy lejos del lugar para bucear, y las instalaciones básicas para deportes acuáticos son gratuitas. El personal es muy amable, el ambiente en el patio es hermoso y tranquilo, es mucho mejor que la selección de sal en la que nos quedamos, vale la pena recomendar ~

Además de la impresionante belleza de este hotel ( para mí, el mejor hotel del mundo) lo más destacado, sin duda, es el personal que trabaja aquí. En definitiva, no hay palabras suficientes para describir lo que sientes estando en este resort. Ya eran las 8 de la noche cuando llegué a Mauricio. Después de que terminé las formalidades, pude ver el transbordador en el aeropuerto. Tardaron unos 5 minutos en llegar al hotel. El hotel estaba limpio e insonorizado. Fuimos los segundos. Tianbao tuvo una excursión de un día y caminó muy temprano sin experimentar el desayuno del hotel y otras instalaciones. Es una buena opción de transición al aeropuerto.

UUsuario invitadoSéjour du 9 au 22 janvier 2024 – villa n° 206 Nous ne laissons que très rarement des commentaires sur les réseaux sociaux, à tort ou à raison, mais cette expérience vaut d’être racontée. Nous avons été admirablement ravis de nos deux semaines passées à l’hôtel Oberoi - Mauritius et ne pouvons que le recommander à tous ceux qui cherchent de la détente, dans un environnement paradisiaque et dans une structure luxueuse, avec un haut niveau de services. L’évasion commence tout juste après la réservation, à quelque 9’000km de là. L’équipe de la réception et de la conciergerie s’est montrée réactive et très à l’écoute pour organiser notre séjour avant notre arrivée. Vinay, le chauffeur, sera le premier visage de l’Oberoi que nous rencontrons. Durant le trajet depuis l’aéroport, dans une luxueuse berline, il nous plonge dans l’ambiance mauricienne et nous présente l’hôtel avec éloquence, ce qui laisse présager le meilleur. Il nous tend sa carte de visite, se rendant disponible pour les jours à venir. Arrivés à l’hôtel, un accueil personnalisé avec check-in directement dans votre villa : l’exclusivité (c’est ça, le vrai luxe !) se fait sentir et règnera pour le reste du séjour. Le personnel a veillé à notre confort de manière très professionnelle, tout en conservant une chaleur humaine : on se sent comme à la maison, en famille presque, avec néanmoins toujours la distance requise. Nous nous sommes sentis considérés et cela constitue l’une des forces de l’établissement. UUsuario invitadoExcelente en todos los sentidos. Estuvimos alojados 5 personas en una Villa de 3 habitaciones en MP. Espectacular!!!! El hotel superó nuestras expectativas (y eran altas). Instalaciones de primer nivel, primera línea de playa, 7 restaurantes (posibles utilizar con la MP 2 de ellos sin cargo adicional). Excelente calidad de la comida. El restaurante Buffet “la citronelle” tiene un nivel de calidad y variedad de comida que no habíamos conocido hasta la fecha. En cuanto a servicios es un hotel TOP. Tienen recepción independiente para las Villas. Desde el primer momento te hacen sentirte especial (desde el primer minuto). Sin cargo en la Villa, agua, cafés, leche, y cesta de fruta con galletas a la llegada. Nos enseñaron el hotel al entrar y todas sus instalaciones. Para nosotros ha sido sin duda el mejor hotel en el que hemos estado. El primer día había una recepción para nuevos clientes en el restaurante Índigo. Coctel de lujo con barra libre de bebidas y snacks gourmet con una atencion de primer nivel……incluso estuvimos charlando un rato con el Director del hotel (una persona encantadora). Tienen servicio traslado desde las Villas a los restaurantes (aunque andando se llega perfectamente) los conductores encantadores. Tanto el del turno de tarde (Tooshal) como el del turno de mañana (Kailash). Alli donde te veían de reconocían (después del primer día) y se ofrecían a llevarte con una amabilidad espectacular. Si alguien está dudando entre este hotel y cualquier otro de Mauricio que no lo dude, hotel 6 estrelllas!!!!!! Por último, queremos dar una mención especial al mayordomo asignado a nuestra Villa. Desde el primer momento (en el que nos enseñó la Villa y después todas las instalaciones de hotel) nos trató con un cariño y amabilidad que es imposible describir. Su nombre es Nitin. Nos ha tratado de una manera que nos ha dejado huella y que no olvidaremos. Algunos ejemplos, a las chicas del grupo les regalo rosas un día cuando volvíamos de desayunar, otro día se plantó en la villa con otra persona del complejo (especialista en abrir cocos) con 5 cocos, los cuales abrió y nos los entregó para que pudiéramos beber el agua de coco (riquísima). Esto son solo dos detalles, pero es que durante toda nuestra estancia a estado pendiente 100% de todo lo que pudiéramos necesitar y haciendo que nuestras vacaciones hayan sido inolvidables. Espero que esta sincera crítica ayude a quien como yo va buscando una “señal” en los comentarios de los clientes, yo agradezco siempre al que se toma unos minutos para ayudar al resto a tomar una decisión acertada.

WWEIEsta vez me alojé en los dos hoteles de Lishi Mona y Lishi Mei'an. El estilo sigue siendo bastante diferente. La arena de Mona es amarillenta y muy levemente. La arena del Mei'an es un poco más blanca y fina. Ten cuidado. La caminata sigue siendo aceptable; las habitaciones son más amplias y modernas; la vista al mar es mejor para el monte Mona. Sentarse a la orilla del mar es muy llamativo. Después de un día, el hotel es demasiado vago para moverse. Si está persiguiendo delfines, también está cerca del Monte Mona. La piscina y las comidas no son tan buenas como la costa estadounidense.

Especialmente queremos recalcar el trato de Bhavana y Vashis en el buffet,en la piscina,nos encanto la simpatia de Sam y en AquaGym clases muy divertidas con Jeremy y Emilie,la comida es bastante buena,sobretodo el restaurante Segala,comes a la carta ,de calidad y con vistas al mar. Impresionantes atardeceres desde el hotel,en general todo genial,la única pega que pondría es que falta un poco más de ambiente musical en la piscina

On arrival the hotel is really beautiful - a small oasis tucked away with gorgeous colonial style. The reception staff were really lovely and made us feel welcome.
The room was really nice - but there were a few things we noticed (which we let slide at the start) - massive dirty lipstick mark on one of our water glasses, filthy lampshades above the bathroom sinks, bed linen that didn’t feel particularly fresh and the robes as well had a slight greyish colour rather than bright white which they were meant to be. These were all minor things at the start which we didn’t even mention to each other but did notice.
We then had our first night at the cocktail bar where our drink was served by the lovely barman (very polite and smily) - as we were drinking we saw a huge rat run across the terrace - we decided it was an island and maybe this is normal (although we really weren’t happy about it). We then were dining within the restaurant and again a huge rat was running towards the table. For us, this is not ok. We asked to move tables as we saw a rat and the waiters barely acknowledged it - didn’t offer any apology and then proceeded to avoid our table for the rest of the night. We informed the manager the next day who assured us he was aware and the rat had been caught, and to “give it a chance”. We weren’t offered so much as a complimentary drink. After dining in the restaurant again the second night and again seeing a rat - for us it was time to check out. Not only is it unpleasant seeing rodents running around while eating but I would say it’s a hygiene issue and makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen and the safety of the food.
The only concession we were offered was to not pay for the remaining nights that we would not be staying for.
Really disappointing. On hindsight some things we would add about the whole experience:
- Not a 5 star in terms of food, service or cleanliness
- Staff really hit and miss - some very friendly some really rude and unhelpful
- Rooms didn’t feel clean
- Food was average - nothing felt fresh including breakfast
- Quite stingey with water - water not replaced within our room (had to ask for it)
We are now staying at a different hotel and haven’t seen one rat, so don’t think this is “just an island thing” as the manager stated. The service and food are also worlds apart which has really solidified that our review of 20 degres sud as completely justified - not a 5 star experience whatsoever.

UUsuario invitadoThis is one of the most difficult reviews I’ve given. We chose Salt based on its previous reviews but to be honest it didn’t quite meet them in our experience. It started really well, with friendly greeting and cold towel and drink. Room wasn’t quite ready but we’d been given an upgrade to a large second floor balcony beach view room. The room was lovely but this is a renovated old hotel and you can tell. Very comfy bed and nice touches with drinks bottles, beach bag, DAB radio and Dyson hairdryer. Comfortable room and didn’t miss the TV or mini fridge that usually accompanies this price point. We were All Inclusive but asked to chose whether we wanted lunch on our first day or our last day, this smacked a little of penny pinching and as we spent a day out on the road exploring the island, we didn’t eat lunch one day anyway. The food on the whole was great, anymore than a weeks stay would have become repetitive I think though. Some of the portions were huge, so huge it felt embarrassing to leave so much some days - remember this hotel has environmental aspirations. The staff were friendly with excellent English. Star of the show was Sanjeet behind the bar and restaurant. AI drinks choices were somewhat limited but the bar staff allowed you to play around and order your own ideas. Frustratingly the SALT APP didn’t work in several sections with a ‘forbidden or error’ message clicking on links, a quick scan of a QR code once discovered by staff resolved the issue but it didn’t really work as intended. The main gripe with the food especially in the evening was slow service, penultimate night was a 90 min wait and they forgot our starters so it all arrived together. The last night was 60 min wait and then it arrived cold. They dealt with the issue quickly and there were apologies all round. It was well handled by Sanjay, one of the managers. Lastly the pool and beach. Quirky remodelled pool area from older hotel pictures. There were enough sunbeds around pool and beach for all guests and everyone seemed sensible picking up their towels rather than booking a bed all day. There was plenty of shade and chilled water on tap, another nice touch was Aloe Vera and sun tan lotion available free of charge. The beach afforded a lovely breezy location, we used the free snorkelling trip three times and also the pedalo. Again friendly and help full staff. The only gripe around the pool area is that some of the free towels looked old and a bit grubby, the same can be said for the reusable water cups, they just don’t look as clean as they should. All in all it fell short of the five stars we were expecting, the slow food service, tired towels and cups, poor app functionality and somewhat limited food and drink choice. Make no mistake, the food is excellent and the service much more personal than a larger resort. A great five night break to the sunshine.

El jardín es precioso, su árbol, sus mariposas, los atardeceres desde su playa, las estrellas por la noche y la energía de este lugar consigue que sea inolvidable. La comida de Steven y sus compañeros está deliciosa siendo sabores muy auténticos, además los cocktails son TOP! Gracias también al equipo de limpieza, todo estaba impoluto! Además la cena con velas en la playa fue el regalo más romántico para celebrar nuestra Luna de miel ️ Merci boucoup!

¡Todo el personal con el que entramos en contacto hizo todo lo posible para brindar la mejor hospitalidad mauriciana! Un resort muy recomendado para parejas y familias.
Las habitaciones estaban bien mantenidas con una vista clara al mar y una vista de la piscina profunda. ¡La calidad de la comida, el mantenimiento de los restaurantes y todos los espacios públicos estaban impecables!
Muchas actividades acuáticas emocionantes que fueron complementarias con nuestra estadía, así como varios temas proporcionados a la hora de la cena para mantener entretenidos a los huéspedes. ¡Kevin y su equipo se asegurarán de que te vayas con la mayor sonrisa en tu rostro después de cada comida!

UUsuario invitado My recent stay at this hotel left me with mixed feelings. The evening program was quite disappointing and failed to entertain as I had hoped. Additionally, I found the hotel to be lacking in terms of luxury, not meeting my expectations. Moreover, the absence of sunshades on the beach made the beach experience less enjoyable. However, I must commend the reception staff specially Rania and Rafik who were perfect. While there were some shortcomings, their excellent service was a standout positive aspect of my stay.

DDMuy cómodo situado como adyacente a un gran centro comercial donde se tiene todo. El personal también es agradable, el desayuno está bien. Pero la calidad de la habitación no es buena, el interior no es espacioso y no es cómodo para colocar el pertenecimiento. El precio es excelente.
