Riad Timila

Es un poco cliché describir un riad como un “oasis”, pero no se me ocurre ninguna palabra mejor. Ninguno más que Riad Timila. Desde la profunda piscina del patio hasta la terraza superior bañada por el sol, cada rincón de este espacioso riad rezuma calma y relajación. Recorrer las concurridas callejuelas y zocos de Marrakech es una experiencia frenética, energizante y, en ocasiones, agotadora. Qué delicia entonces, al final de un día ajetreado, poder retirarme a un hogar lejos de casa tan hermoso, cómodo, sereno e impecablemente limpio. El lugar es impresionante, una mezcla perfecta de estilo tradicional y diseño moderno. En particular, me encantó nuestro enorme cuarto de baño privado: lavabo y ducha integrados súper inteligentes, frente a una pared de hermosas máscaras de madera antiguas. Sin embargo, lo más destacado del riad son Brahim, Ismael, Hennia y el resto del increíble personal. Fueron increíblemente amables, atentos y serviciales. Terminamos comiendo la mayoría de nuestras comidas en el Riad y cada una de ellas fue un festín impresionante. Uno de nuestro grupo tiene una alergia alimentaria grave y fueron extremadamente cuidadosos y tranquilizadores. Me he alojado en otros riads en Marrakech antes, pero ninguno puede competir con Timila. Posiblemente el mejor lugar en el que me he alojado durante unas vacaciones, punto.

Pasamos una semana maravillosa en el Riad Timila. Brahim pudo ayudarnos con todas nuestras necesidades. Las habitaciones eran muy bonitas y las camas muy cómodas. Terminamos comiendo la mayoría de nuestras comidas allí porque la comida era extremadamente buena. Había mucho silencio allí por la noche y, sin embargo, estábamos a sólo unos 8 minutos a pie de la plaza principal. Éramos 11 y todos pensamos que era un gran lugar y lo recomendamos totalmente.

Feb 2024. Very bespoke service. Riad Timila reached out to see if we needed airport pickup and then arranged it for us. With the taxi not able to drive to get close to the hotel, they met us at the taxi to lead us through the maze to the Riad. After a quick tour around the hotel, we were guided the 5 minute walk to the Jamal En Fnaa to ensure we could find our way back. The Riad was clean, quiet and the beds were comfortable. Dealing with Mouad, the main contact at the Riad, was a pleasure. Mouad was extremely flexible and accommodating with our timings for breakfast and dinner. I recommend having dinner at the hotel at least one of the nights during your stay. It is home made, traditional and delicious! Reviewed from a Canadian perspective.

A lovely 4 day stay made much more special by Timila staff. Simple and authentic Riad, with charming details everywhere you turn. The rooms were very clean, very good food, and the service was impeccable. Mouad made our stay special by catering to all our needs, always available with a smile and discretion. Merci Mouad.

Riad Timila is the most gorgeous oasis just off the main souk, with a beautiful patio overlooking the rooftops of Marrakech. Brahim and Ismail were absolutely wonderful and so helpful, from guiding us through the souk to a little hidden spa, taking my friends to the doctor and organising our trips and restaurants, they couldn't have been better hosts. The food was always deliciously prepared and anything else we needed was quickly rustled up, even when my friend fell ill from the souk. We had the best possible long weekend and couldn't recommend Riad Timila more.

This was my second visit to Riad Timila and it was even better than I had remembered! The Riad is decorated in an authentic style with gorgeous artwork and eclectic furnishings. It felt like staying in a palace! Communication with Victoria was very efficient and Brahim the house manager was also very quick in responding to me. We were able to arrange transfers to and from the airport and a guide all through the Riad. There are many trips you can organise with them depending on your stay. All rooms are each very individual in style and have very comfy beds, furnishings and amazing bathrooms. The dip pool is a great relief from the heat of the souks as is the terrace to catch a breeze and get a good view of the Koutoubia and the terracotta rooftops. At night from my favourite spot an the top most terrace u can see the smoke rising Ron the street food market in the main square. You will not regret staying here. Myself and my elderly uncle were looked after so well. Ismail was always on hand if we needed anything. Henia cooked an amazing spread at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Don’t hesitate to book this Riad, you will not regret it! It is an experience in itself right in the heart of the ancient and vibrant Médina.

Stayed here for a week away with friends. Unbelievably lush and breazy rooftop terrace and very friendly staff. Air con and pool are excellent ways of cooling off after a day exploring Marrakesh. Magnificent

We stayed at Road Timila as a group of eight and were so well looked after by the amazing team of Braheem, Ishmael, Henia and Haddisha. They made us feel very welcome, prepared delicious meals, provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and places of interest and ensured a thoroughly enjoyable and comfortable stay. Riad Timila is a stunning place to stay - each room is beautifully appointed built around two lovely courtyards which were n oasis of calm from a very full-on city. We would strongly recommend Riad Timila for anyone thinking of visiting Marrakech.
