Hampton Inn & Suites Manistee Waterfront

We had a wonderful stay! Staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean with a great location. They provided a variety of foods for breakfast and the view of Lake Michigan while you ate was amazing.

Absolutely wonderful! Location is everything, the views are unbeatable! The restaurant is great. All staff super helpful, polite and curteous. We love the pool and hot tub! This is our favorite new hotel and we are recommending it to all of our friends!

Overall Hotel and Restaurant get a a thumbs up but the noise from rambunctious young kids was over the top. When front desk was called they apologized and remedied noise complaint in short term & stated a discount would be applied to room. Upon check out no discount was given and kid noise was ongoing.

Everything was great except for the parking. The parking lot was full every night and we could not find a spot. We had to park at the beach and walk over. More parking spaces are needed.

The room was big, beds comfortable for a queen size, had a refrigerator but no microwave in the room. You only get one if you stay in a suite. They have a public one you can use for the whole hotel guests but with covid coming back, is this such a good idea? It snowed heavily and the parking spaces next to my handicap parking spaced were plowed but I had 3 feet from my car of snow to try to walk through as I was trying to load my car through all that snow. Why didn't somebody shovel out near our car. Would that been so hard to do? Somebody takes care of the sidewalk and parking areas but your on your own to get into your car. Your breakfast is not as good as other Hamptons that we have stayed in. There was no scrambled eggs, no sausage and gravy, no pancakes, fruit choices were great, TV was not on the news but on some boring soap opera nobody seemed to be interested in, no fire place, there was no fire going in the fire pit outside and this was on a Saturday night, at about 11 pm at night some people decided to make as much noise as they could with their screaming dragster cars. I guess they were trying to show off their noisy dragster cars. It worked they were loud and noisy. They enjoyed their racing and peeling out of their cars. Police did not show up the whole time this was going on around the hotel. The police came in the morning when nobody was there. The noise was so loud that one could sleep.

Great new hotel. Very clean and modern. Staff were amazing and helpful. Restaurant on site was great and had a nice atmosphere.

Stay was excellent . Tried to confirm reservation to let them know about our arriving late. . Got connect to whomever handles management of reservation. They said we had no reservation, no one under my name and no telephone # in their system. Called twice got same answer. Daughter in law who lives in Manistee . She finally got hold of hotel we were staying inManistee and confirmed reservation.They were so nice and accommodating and apologized and made the rest of the trip very pleasant.

Wonderful hotel! Extremely friendly front desk, great room looking out on Lake Michigan plus restaurant on 5th floor! We’ll be back!!

The staff went over and way above the norm. The only thing I didn't like was we only stayed for 1 night!
