What an amazing resort! This is our 2nd time in the Maldives and we are still in complete awe of the place. Riq made our visit extra special by going the extra mile on a daily basis and carefully curating all our itineraries. The staff are simply the best and made our stay so memorable. The rooms have such incredible views and amenities. Would 100% recommend

We had nothing less but exceptional experience at SO Maldives. From the moment we arrived at 6am, we were greeted by hotel team members and Riq was our biggest helper since that moment until we left. Our room was ready and early check in at 6:30am was free. That was a great start of our vacation, especially after 24hr flight. The room was beautiful, the only thing I regret is not booking Ocean view villa. We had Lagoon view villa, which had view of Male - not the best in my opinion, but when tide was high it was much better. Complimentary tea, coffee, water were available. Even at the pool area, we were offered free welcome drinks and water every day . The island is small but very cute . We had our bikes and enjoyed riding them around . Beach is very clean with white sand . Breakfast was absolutely delicious. There are not many dinner options, and quite frankly restaurants Hadaba and citronelle - were not my favorites. Dinners there were just ok. But when we order room service one night - that was the best dinner we had (lobster soup , Cesar salad) ! We also enjoyed floating breakfast, it’s a must to do. But our experience wouldn’t be so great if it wasn’t for Riq. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, he was responsive and caring, and offered outstanding service! Thank you Riq! I also was impressed how at the airport we had two people from the hotel , Armeen and Ashrav, who took such a good care of us. They helped with luggage , and took us all the way till passport control at security check. One more thing - weather was super hot during the day starting at 5-6am but evenings were nice and cooler. Rooms are gorgeous . Prices at restaurants are a bit high but it’s norm for Maldives. Not that many activities are offered on the site , especially for kids. But we enjoyed peace and quiet! Maldive is always a best escape for anyone but what if this experience will be the best for you and your family and friends Somaldive hotel was really a great choice they made our escape so special , staff were so kind our first experience started once we met Ostore not really sure with spelling 🫣 but he was so kind to do for us an early check is since our flight was in the early morning and it was the only direct option in Qatar airways Second best experience was our highly experienced butler he was the angel guide to this trip he always makes sure you are enjoying and always suggesting how to maximize your journey joy . Thanks Rick🤍🇲🇻 We also met the GM Jasper in our was back home, although he had to ran to his flight he was making sure that all is good with us And finally Ooredoo network was the best network coverage to cover these nice memories in social media and stay connected with our family Thank you all🇲🇻❤️ So you all soon

It was amazing experience, thanks to our guid Riq for taking care of us and making it such amazing trip, the service was excellent, the food was very good, everything was just perfect to make this vacation a dream come true. Been to Maldives 12 times stayed at 8 resorts and this is by far the worst! the service takes hours and still incomplete they took 12hrs to press my dresses which they promised would take an hour!! They had to send it to another island without my permission, ordered fruit platter which took 3 hours and no show, breakfast buffet is super limited has no eggs and two cheese choices!! And the view of the lagoon villas is facing the factories of male!! Had to book another resort and leave within a day while paying full charge of all our stay!!
