Hotel is clean and suitable for families. The bed was great. Room service was quick. TV had sufficient channels and quality and size of screen is good. Plenty of water provided in room. The view of the junior suite was good but would have been better on a higher floor. Bathroom was huge and guests could request for chair within for elderly. Has sauna and steam room in the hotel but no spa. Seems a short distance from Jonker but will the long and unpredictable grab and room situation in melaka, the location of hotel becomes a inconvenience. However, air-conditioning is unable to be controlled and was too cold at night. Breakfast needs a queue, and food is not fantastic and has no signature dishes that you can remember after. Hotel does not respond much to request such as high floor or that there is a third guest in the room despite paying for an extra person. This is evident when the bathroom amenities, bathrobe and slippers provided were still in pairs. Though Hotel did top up more after the first day. When they do top up, they are not stingy.

El servicio de registro fue un poco lento, pero la recepción fue agradable y trató de hablar el idioma con el que estamos familiarizados (aunque realmente no podemos entender completamente BM). La habitación es muy espaciosa y la distribución es excelente, pero su calidad fue la peor de todas: cucharas de metal corroídas, tazas sucias, sábanas sucias/manchadas, olores a humedad de la alfombra, el escape del baño no funciona, la puerta del baño no se puede abrir por completo. Cerrado y pegado al marco de la puerta. Sin embargo, la ubicación está justo en el centro de la ciudad de Malaca, lo que le dio un punto positivo, solo que el puente de enlace tampoco funcionaba en absoluto, ya que el centro comercial era como una zona desierta. No me quedaré más aquí y preferiré los alrededores que tienen tantas opciones de hoteles.

Interesting room concept that is extremely suitable for kids and family with young kids. Location is brilliant. You get to feel how is it like staying in a building that has extremely high historical value. Only down side is the parking. The road is one way and if you missed the parking area you need to go 1 big round which can take you 15-20 minutes or more in traffic. The nearest paid parking is hourly rate with no cap and the per entry parking is almost 5-10 mins walk away and it's difficult with luggage. Even the hotel owned parking which is not officially open is 5 mins away. The VR room is great entertainment and staff is extremely friendly. Also, if you are Chinese, you might want to avoid the room in my pic as the bed is facing the door... lol

We got the kids suite. Some things that may be useful to others. Location. It’s a so-near-yet-so-far situation. We can see the main attractions from our room. Seems very walkable. But because of the highway right in front of the hotel, we have to go one big round to get to the main attractions. As such, I wouldn’t advise walking. We took grab everywhere. Waiting time may be longer as it’s not KL. Affordable option though. Grab drivers were friendly and recommended places to go. Room. Spacious for the 3 of us. Kid loved the bunk bed, little tent they set up, kids table and chair with colouring materials. Very thoughtful of the hotel. Toilet seems a little dated. I believe it’s an older hotel, but can see the efforts to spruce the environment. Bathrobes and bathroom slippers provided. Hotel amenities. Decent gym. Good enough for a holiday workout. Basic swimming pool, infinity concept. Breakfast spread was actually very decent, contrary to what we had read from previous previews. Service was great. Staff always did their best to advise and render help. Would recommend this room for families with 1 or 2 kids. Very spacious.

This is our third visit to this hotel, as usual we go to Dr. LIM ENT doctor (ENT) @Mahkota Medical Center, the first time it came it was called Renaissance Melaka (5 stars) the second time it changed to Ramada Melaka (5 stars) and this is the third time we stayed here for 6 days 5 nights now it is Dusit Princess Melaka ( 4 stars), not too many changes even though the lobby was renovated, all the rooms are still the same as before, big TV but not yet Smart TV, swimming pool on the 9th floor which looks like there have been changes, for room cleanliness, housekeeping is called ”Shanto”usually very friendly and works very well, all guest requests are served very well, good job Shanto👍👍👍👍👍, the weakness of this hotel is the service at breakfast for the breakfast menu, nothing special, it seems mediocre, 5 days breakfast is just that, I remember at the hotel This waitress and manager's service is extraordinary towards guests. I remember ”Teh Tarik Melaka” was their mainstay to attract guests, service with a smile, which we don't get at this hotel now, for The service of the waitress and staff at the restaurant is very unfriendly and seems indifferent and needs to be improved. Service is very poor and needs to be improved in attitude which is sometimes a bit impolite in serving guests. I noted that only 1 Malay brother always provided friendly service at Tomyam soup and 1 woman wore a headscarf. the one in front wrote down the list of guests who smiled at us, for the receptionist ”Amen” fast service only waited 30 minutes even though we weren't given a free room upgrade for our special Honeymoon but were given early check in hours 12.00 and slice cake is not bad😊🙏

This is a very new hotel which started their business in March 2023. Wanted to try on the first day of opening but due to some reason, it was delayed till now. It’s a first Marriott hotel in Melaka, so I do have very high expectations from them. As a Marriott platinum elite member, I’ve stayed in many hotel under Marriott organisation. Upon reaching the hotel with grab car, the staff came up to me immediately and lead me to the check in counter, the lobby are huge, and I can still smell that the hotel are still so new. Not much of the guest in the lobby area, it’s a Monday so I guess it’s normal. No suite room upgrade and no complimentary breakfast for a platinum member, although I was upgraded to a strait view room which I appreciated it. It can see a tiny bit of the sea. Apart from that, I guess the room size and amenity are the same. The check in staff told me that the suite room was full… I mean.. it’s a Monday.. and I literally still can see the suite room was available in the Bonvoy app. As I’ve mentioned, I’ve been to many hotel under Marriott organisation. I don’t always get upgraded to a suite room, but it was okay, I do understand all these are subjected to individual hotel policy and it’s all a good will. But I guess the staff could just tell me that the hotel are still new, the suite room are limited and it’s reserved for paying guest. I would totally understand that. But I don’t think it’s wise to you know, use a default replied as member like us, we check on the app. For me, if there’s no available suite room, I wouldn’t even ask for an upgrade. Secondly, there’s no complimentary breakfast, I paid RM70 for the 2 day breakfast. I’ve stayed in a few courtyard hotel, this was the first one that I’ve paid for breakfast, there might be other courtyard that don’t provide complimentary breakfast for guest with elite status, maybe I didn’t stay much enough to see it all. I’ve stayed with hotel that told me that their facility actually don’t offer complimentary breakfast for elite member, but they will just give it to me as a good will on top of my welcome gift. Just a little suggestion, like maybe let the counter staff to decide, if they could slip in some complimentary breakfast to guest with elite status or even guest that potentially come back again. I’m not complaining here, just some of my suggestions. The room are new, nice and spacious, very clean. Nice TV channel selection, view was great. Bed are firm to the level that I like, they offer pillow menu as well. Had very good sleep for the 2 night. Breakfast was very basic. There’s a very annoying flies flying around my table.. how did it come into the hotel, lol. Gym are small but there should be everything you need. The infinity pool are great! Very good view and very Instagrammable. Please visit the pool when you are here. The staff and friendly and nice. Would come back again to the hotel when I’m back in Melaka.

El hotel es mucho más grande de lo que habíamos esperado. El hotel está bien diseñado, pero el congelador y todo el hotel parecía estar en algún tipo de perfume, lo que me hizo un poco mareado. La habitación era muy bonita, pero la pequeña patio es un bonito toque. Nos informamos de que nos vamos a salir a las 12:50, pero aún así, el mismo concierto nos llamó a las 12:00, esperando impacientemente que nos lleguemos a salir. Una vez que todo se ha hecho, estoy seguro que será un lugar agradable. Deseo que las plantas sean reales. Son todos plásticos y muestra, desgraciadamente. La ubicación es perfecta, justo alrededor del rincón de China Town y Junkers Walk. Creo que es un lugar decente para quedarse por una noche o dos.

Este Hotel y Residencia está equipado con enormes habitaciones, una estrategia eficaz para impresionar a sus huéspedes. Mis comentarios para mejorar son los siguientes: 1) Orientar a sus huéspedes sobre el nivel exacto de las habitaciones del hotel. 34005 está escrito en la tarjeta de mi habitación, no aparece 34 en el botón del ascensor. Regresé a recepción y me dijeron que era el nivel 33A. 2) Esperar tu/mi turno para entrar en cualquiera de los cuatro ascensores es una tarea dolorosa durante la temporada alta. 3 min para subir a un ascensor. Llegar del nivel 33A al piso G puede consumir fácilmente al menos entre 8 y 12 minutos, ya que se detiene en cada nivel. Un bebé lloraba en su cochecito mientras esperaba que el ascensor llegara al piso G. Él había estado antes que yo en el ascensor congestionado y mal ventilado. Nos encontramos en el nivel 33A y tardamos 7 minutos en llegar al piso G. 3) Ofrecer más variedades de desayuno buffet. Entiendo que este hotel ofrece un precio asequible para una estancia cómoda, especialmente para una familia numerosa, y mucho mejor que las pequeñas habitaciones de hotel de Jonker Walk. No podemos quejarnos mucho del buffet. En mi humilde opinión, el hotel puede añadir dos o tres platos que representen la cultura Peranakan en Melaka. Sería una experiencia maravillosa para nosotros. 4) Para quienes visitan por primera vez como yo, presten atención al enorme estacionamiento en el nivel 7. Hay al menos 3 vestíbulos con ascensor y terminé llegando al vestíbulo del Swiss Hotel, al restaurante De Wan y al vestíbulo del hotel durante mi visita. estancia nocturna. Puede resultar útil disponer de carteles claros que indiquen a qué vestíbulo llega cada hotel/punto de venta. 5) Lo más importante es adoptar las mejores prácticas para dar la bienvenida y saludar a sus invitados en la recepción. Como mencioné, no todos sabríamos que el nivel 34 que está escrito en la tarjeta de nuestra habitación es en realidad el nivel 33A en el botón del ascensor. Alertarles/ayudarlos/a mí es una excelente manera de ir más allá y dejar una impresión duradera. Gracias

La habitación parece moderna, las comodidades están bien, pero los rollos de papel higiénico huelen mucho a pesar de que son nuevos. La funda de almohada y las sábanas me pica la piel. El desayuno se encuentra en el nivel 3A, justo enfrente del ascensor. En el momento en que sales de los ascensores, los olores desagradables (no estoy seguro de que sea el olor del inodoro o la basura) hacen que la experiencia del desayuno sea muy decepcionante, la variedad de opciones de alimentos para el desayuno es buena. En general, lo visual es genial, pero la sensación y el olor son súper desagradables.

El hotel está muy bien situado, pero no hay nada que puedas hacer en el hotel. Nos han reservado 2 habitaciones a la semana y se nos ha dicho que no están listas, pero el momento de la entrada de este hotel es a las 3:00, pero sólo hemos esperado 30 minutos para conseguir nuestra primera habitación y otros 30 minutos para conseguir la segunda. La primera habitación era muy oscura, ya que sólo había 1 luz funcionando, así que terminamos llamando a la mantenimiento para reparar todas las demás luces en la habitación. El hotel está muy cerca de la ciudad, pero no es muy fácil de encontrar. No se nos dio ningún recibo, excepto la recepción, como el receptor nos dijo que mostrase la llave de la habitación al personal del café, pero el personal del café se negó a dejarnos entrar incluso después de mostrarle la llave de la habitación. Nos dijo que teníamos que presentarle un bono de comida, que no nos dijo el receptor. Le dijimos que se inspeccionara en el sistema como hemos pagado por él y se negó a hacerlo. Nos puso de inmediato sin más comprobación. Después de todo el problema, fuimos al receptor en el lobby y buscamos una devolución. Nos pagamos por el desayuno en efectivo cuando nos ingresamos, pero no podemos recuperar el dinero inmediatamente porque nos niegan a entrar al café. No creemos que mereciéramos este tratamiento por parte del personal del hotel, simplemente porque la tarifa de la habitación es asequible, no significa que las normas de hospitalidad puedan considerarse como tercera clase mundial. Si no es debido al sistema TripAdvisor, ni siquiera quiero dar una calificación.
