El dueño es codicioso de dinero, no me hicieron limpieza durante los 3 días que me quedé, la cama estaba sucia, la camisa de la cama tenía sangre, le pedí agua, me dijo que hay un lugar en el aeropuerto, por qué no bebí agua o Nada antes de venir, a nadie se le permitió venir a verme, me cambió 500 rupias porque alguien vino a entregar agua a mi habitación.

No es lujoso y la decoración necesita urgentemente una actualización, pero por alrededor de $ 25 USD no me sentí nada incómodo. La vista desde los balcones es preciosa, al igual que la brisa del agua por la noche. Es fácil llegar a pie a los pocos restaurantes de la ciudad. La recepción hizo arreglos para que un taxi me llevara al aeropuerto en medio de la noche y todo salió exactamente según lo planeado. No se puede pedir más que eso por este precio tan bajo.

I would recommend looking for alternative accommodations. The property, though seemingly appealing in photos, especially the garden view, falls short in reality. The swimming options are limited to a small pool. The entire establishment carries a Hindu-style aesthetic, which may feel cluttered and chaotic to some. The breakfast area, resembling what one might find in a slum, does not inspire confidence in dining there. Additionally, the cleanliness of the rooms is questionable, with unclean walls being a notable concern. Coupled with outdated amenities, slow Wi-Fi, inefficient air conditioning, and a lack of elevator for upper floors, the overall experience is significantly diminished. The ill-fitting bedding, loud toilet, and the need for an urgent renovation further contribute to a less-than-ideal stay. I definitely would not choose to stay here again.

Both double rooms had a lake view, but the standard was very different. The breakfast was good with French bread that appeared to be very fresh. It was nice to be able to sit outside and study the behavior of the small birds. They kept control of the tables before and during breakfast. In the first room the fan didn’t work. It was to slow. Therefore it became unacceptably hot especially, when I was trying to sleep. The shower had been turned off and the bathroom floor became very slippery when it had become wet. We found the town of Mahebourg nice, so we extended our stay by two days. The hotel offered us a new room with a much better standard when we stayed two more days. I appreciated that we now had a fridge and a shower that worked. It was nice with a pool but difficult to get up, when it had rained. After the rain the edge of the pool had become very slippery. I didn't want to slip and hurt myself. I swam in the sea the other days. The beach was very shallow. But watch out! There are a lot of sharp corals. I will give 4 points. (Three points for the first part of the stay and five for the last.)

Stay away from this place. If you book via booking or similar they cancel your booking if they get a better deal with directly paying customers.. Parking space just outside infront the building. Thanking you for your booking at coco villa and a warm welcome is waiting for you . The on Monday the send me a letter to ask me to cancel my booking! I was very upset and annoyed! Terrible service and only after money not caring about client's at all!!! Do not stay here!

It’s a good place for a one night stay and easy to move around the south. The very good rating from average is for the hospitality. It was an enjoyable and relaxing trip. Special thanks for the granny hospitality who served us breakfast the following day in the morning. It was very basic breakfast but the view from the garden was worthwhile. Enjoy the simplest thing!

Arrived earlier than our check in time. Initially thought we could get the bus/ walk from the airport. So pleased we decided to rent a car instead - 10 minute, easy drive from the airport. Parking just outside on the road. There are 2 allocated spaces for guests and on street parking also. Left our bags with the hosts and had a little room + shower/ toilet to get changed in. Walked to Mahebourg Monday market- absolutely massive, selling everything you could possibly think of. Check in was smooth - paid in cash (MUR). Room 202 has everything you need - bed, wardrobe, fridge, kettle, cutlery, sofa. Air con works very well. Safe we could not get to work, but if we asked could have probably found out. Tv turned on but had 2 pin electricity point for freeview box. All sockets in room are 3 point (UK style) so make sure you bring an adapter or else won’t be able to watch tv. Shower is brilliant - powerful and great temperature. Decor is slightly dated and some signs of wear and tear, but would definitely recommend for a good nights sleep, close to the airport and very cheap! So can’t complain. Lovely view of the ocean from balcony. Pool very refreshing for an afternoon dip, and poolside area clean with lots of places to chill. Very quiet and peaceful location with nice breeze. 5 minute drive to Point D’Esny beach - white sand and clear waters. Breakfast served between 8-9am. Fresh baguette, tea/ coffee, fruit juice, banana, yoghurt. Filling and included in your nightly accommodation price. Overall, has a chilled and relaxed vibe with lots of quirky and unique touches all around the hotel. Thank you so much to the Coco Villa family for having us!

Decent low budget inn. You get what you pay for. Rooms are clean and staff is very friendly. If you are looking for a low budget stay in Mauritius choose Coco Villa.
