El hotel tiene muchas historias y por supuesto que usted se sentirá en la cárcel y nunca estuvo ahí como nosotros!! Las matracas son grandes y nos disfrutamos. Nos dormimos muy bien hasta las 6:00 cuando el camión de la camioneta llega a las calles y hace mucho ruido. Las cosas son absolutamente amables. El desayuno se sirve en una caja (PRE hecho), honestamente habríamos preferido diferente. Pero quizás es parte de la experiencia de estar en prisión. El hotel está muy bien situado, pero no hay nada que pueda hacer.

Fui muy excitado por comenzar a viajar después de 2 años de hiatus. Elije a Suiza ya que ya había planeado el viaje a 3 semanas en mayo de 2020. Tuve que cancelarlo debido a la pandemia COVID-19. El hotel Alpina se encuentra en Luzerne, a la vista de la calle y a la maravillosa casa de huéspedes. La calle estaba tranquila, excepto en las mañanas cuando los camiones de rubia se limpiaron. La zona de cama y cocinas son cómodas. El baño es pequeño, pero todos los artículos funcionaron bien. No vi personal en Alpina, ya que la mayoría de ellos estaban situados en el hotel de hermana cercano, el Monopol, que se encuentra a unos 20 metros. El hotel Alpina está situado a unos 110m de la estación de tren de Luzerne y es relativamente fácil de encontrar. La habitación es de 339, más grande que 338.

Este hotel está situado a una distancia de paseo de la estación, aunque puede ser más conveniente tomar un autobús si tienes equipaje. El desayuno era suficiente, y la habitación, aunque pequeña, estaba limpia y se ofrecía a un precio asequible.

Se encuentra a 5 minutos a pie de la estación de Lucerne y puede ver el Puente de la Capilla justo después de salir del hotel. Cuando cruzas el Puente de la Capilla, puedes ver la estatua de un león moribundo, el muro de Musek y la Catedral de San Leodegar. El hotel estaba limpio, y el check-in temprano y los servicios de almacenamiento de equipaje fueron amables.

Good location, right at the end of the pedestrian mall in the old town. Easy, short stroll (5 minutes) to the Chapel Bridge, 2 minutes to the Lion Monumnet, 7 minutes to stroll on the old ramparts between the wall's towers. Many varied restaurants and stores within easy walking distance. There is no parking on hotel property, although you can stop your car on the sidewalk across from the front door for unloading and loading. Parking is available at the large indoor mall next door (with in/out priviledges, but it is very expensive (25 CHF daily) - there is basically no street parking in the area.

El entorno del hotel es muy bueno en el lago , elegí la sala de patio , pero la red del hotel no es muy buena para recibirme en la patio , el transporte es muy conveniente , salir en autobús 24 después de llegar a la estación de tren hasta la puerta 

El desayuno está en su lugar y todo debería estar allí. Definitivamente es bueno estar lleno. El paisaje es realmente hermoso. Excelente relación calidad-precio. Una tienda de 50 años que ha sido transmitida por la familia durante generaciones, es cálida y cómoda. Hace 16 grados fresco en las montañas. La cena fue especialmente buena y el precio muy razonable, lo que anuló mi impresión de que Suiza era estúpida y cara. Las instalaciones son un poco antiguas, pero están bien mantenidas, y hay un poco de ruido al caminar sobre el piso de madera real. Hay un estacionamiento, por lo que el estacionamiento es muy conveniente.

Don't be fooled by the gorgeous exterior photo of this hotel. There is no grand lobby to speak of that you would expect to match the building facade. Rather there is no lobby!!! As you enter the building there is a Starbucks to the left and a Covid testing facility to the right with people in line waiting to get tested that you need to walk by. Around a corridor you will find the reception - and that is where the bad part of this report starts. We had booked a Deluxe Design Suite and when we checked in that is was the room type written on our reservation card. We got our room key and walked back by the covid testing line and waited amongst them for the elevator. Up to our room and no special area of hotel as promised, no shower in room - just a tub with no curtain, no double sink, no electric blinds, and a room less than half the size as advertised. We go back down to the lobby and told them that the room was not the one we booked. They argued with us that it was indeed what we booked despite it missing the features and size they advertised. They had the nerve to say to us ”.......we didn't know having a shower was a criteria for you......”. They said they had no other rooms and offered us nothing in compensation other than we could switch rooms the next day. We went back to the room contemplating whether we would try and find another hotel and after a few minutes the front desk called and said another room had come available. A different clerk brings us a new key and shows us to a different room in the ”special” area of hotel - same hallway except you needed to use your key to access a door blocking the hallway to an identical hall - nothing special here like having a concierge lounge etc etc. This new room was closer to what we booked so we accepted it. We stayed four nights and everything was ok except they did not replenish the bottled water each day - told us 2 one litre bottles per stay not per night. I would not have written a review except fir what happened upon check-out. A manager checked us out and asked how our stay was and our response was fine after they got our room sorted out. She looked at the reservation and said well the room you booked was what you were originally placed in and then proceeded to argue with us that there was no difference between the rooms and that not all Deluxe Design Suites come with a shower. Rather than argue with her we walked out pissed off at them once again.

The hostel was very cozy and a convenient location. Although it is not actually in Lucerne the bus station is right outside and you get free tickets! The beds were very comfortable and we slept great. However, the check in desk has nobody there from 11 am to 4 pm check in... where were we supposed to put our luggage? Also, the shower wouldn't drain and was very small and gross. If you're a budget traveler, I would still recommend staying here!

La ubicación del hotel es perfecta, en pleno centro de la maravillosa Lucerna. Las habitaciones son correctas sin ser demasiado amplias. El baño es pequeño y anticuado, tenía una ducha con cortina un poco desfasada. El personal de recepción era poco empático.
