Rene Bohn is an amazingly comfortable, very well run hotel and while the focus is on business travelers they are absolutely family friendly, as well. I stayed in the comfortable, well kept room and since I was visiting Ludwigshafen in order to see my goddaughter and her parents, good friends, we made use of the delicious weekend brunch buffet they offer on the weekends where outside guests are accepted for an additional fee, of course. The location is quite central however, as it used to be a place for BASF employees and partners exclusively, it is not directly near any of the city’s sights. Ludwigshafen not being a large city that is still quite convenient and the very good service and friendly staff alone ensure that I will stay there again during my next visit.

We stayed here several times when visiting family in Ludwigshafen and would do it again. Truly 4*! (+)The hotel is easy to reach by car, has 24/7 reception. There are free of charge parking slots reserved for guests (very important considering difficult parking situation in Lu!) and also charge station for e-cars. City center is 15min on foot. Nicely designed cozy lobby with a bar opened till late night and free welcome drink for arriving guests. Upper floors are accessible by elevators which are suitable also for wheelchair or baby carriage. (+)Rooms (double) are relatively small, impeccably clean, with comfy beds, tee/coffee set, rich selection of amenities. Bathroom with shower. (+)Excellent breakfast with very broad selection of foods. Very friendly, attentive and helpful staff. (-) The hotel is located next to big clinical complex and medical helicopter landing place which might be sporadically loud.

It’s the third time our family stays at this hotel in Ludwigshafen and we all love it. The staff is attentive and friendly, breakfast is exquisite and the rooms are very comfortable. We look forward to our stay every time.

A great Businesshotel, but also worth a visit just for a short weekend trip, very friendly and helpful service, great comfortable and modern rooms, and great breakfast buffet , the Bed was absolutely extremely comfortable, nice room temperature and very quiet, so sleeping with windows open was a pleasure. We went for a concert, which was steps away. The hotel was welcoming, with a beautiful, spacious lobby with bar. The staff were very friendly. Found the room to be quaint and clean. A/C and amenities. Very Pleasing. Would definitely go again.

Staff couldn’t have been lovelier. Pascal on the front desk was a star. Breakfast was outstanding with everything from cooked brekkie to fresh fruit and juices. The hotel is in a quiet spot and whilst the area has a business feel, we were pleasantly surprised how relaxing the trip was as a couple with lots of outside space for eating and relaxing. We hired bikes from the hotel which was great fun with lots of flat roads and bike lanes in the area.

We arrived at the hotel without a booking and the receptionist was very helpful in showing us a couple of different types of rooms. We selected the Deluxe room, but discovered to our grief that there was a problem with the bed. We got immediately upgraded to a better room and spent a very pleasant stay there. The room was tasteful, modern, comfortable, clean and quiet. I actually saw 3 different rooms, all of them I’d say are exceptionally good value for the money. The hotel staff we interacted with was simply beyond helpful and friendly, there was even a welcome drink included in the very reasonable hotel price, and the extremely friendly waitress asked in the morning at the end of our breakfast if we might like a glass of champagne. The breakfast buffet with chefs working the eggs-to-order was very well laid out, fresh, tasty, top quality. Having spent my fair share in business hotels, I must say that this experience was totally different, I can only congratulate the hotel management in having found such a brilliant staff. The hotel itself is modern and stylish. Would I come again ? Yes !

excellent rooms, top service, fantastic breakfast, free parking and a nice park nearby. Actually a business hotel but also catering to leisure visitors for fantastic prices. Only thing that could be better would be the choice of dinner options, but I guess most business guest go out for dinner.

Uitstekend als stop voor doorreis. Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding Ontbijt meer dan uitstekend. Top 2 ooit! Hond was ook welkom, alleen niet bij ontbijt. Plaats zelf is niet bijzonder , BASF bastion. Daarom echt een zaken hotel. Maar wel met extra service

Sehr aufmerksame Mitarbeiter. Mitarbeiter sind gut ausgebildet und der Service war einwandfrei. Die Zimmer sind sehr gepflegt und das ganze Hotel ist in tollem Zustand. Küche und Restaurant waren ebenfalls sehr gut.

Wunderbar als Ausgangspunkt in der Metropolregion Rhein-Neckar. Besonders freundliches und aufmerksames Personal, sehr saubere, funktionelle Zimmer und nette Aufenthaltsräume. Ein opulentes Frühstücksbüffet lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir waren schon einige Male hier und werden gerne wiederkommen!

Wir waren jetzt schon zum dritten Mal zu Gast im René-Bohn Hotel und fühlen uns jedes Mal sehr wohl. Schönes Hotel, super freundliches Personal und ein ausgezeichnetes Frühstücksbuffet! Wir können vor allem die Serviced Appartements für längere Aufenthalte empfehlen…

Wir haben ein superior Zimmer gebucht (149€) Die Große des Zimmers entspricht eher der von einem standard Zimmer, ruhig und sauber. Das Badezimmer ist echt klein und die Handtücher sind sehr kuschelig. Die Matratze ist sehr hart, aber du kannst ein Matratzentopper auf Nachfrage einwandfrei bekommen. Große Auswahl an Kopfkissen. Das Personal ist sehr höflich und Kundenorientiert. Du wirst herzlich empfangen und bekommst ein Begrüßungsgetränk nach dem Chek in. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Frühstück. Der Kaffee wird am Tisch bestellt und du wirst persönlich platziert. Du findest verschiedene frische Brötchen- Sorte, Obst, Kuchen, warme Speisen wie Kartoffeln, Würstchen, gegrilltes Gemüse, Lachs, eine offene Küche für Omeletts und Spiegeleier, Wurst, Säfte, Sekt, usw. Im Großen und Ganzen, wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und konnten sehr gut schlaffen.
