I booked a cheap hotel as I only needed it to sleep and shower in as I was out everyday. You pay for what you get. However the amount of stress caused on check in I was not prepared for. I understand reservations may not appear for many different reasons so I have more patience and understanding than most, however to be told on check in there’s a piece of scrap paper saying I’ve been moved to another hotel 40mins drive away, when I was told their was rooms available, with no proper documentation and I have to pay for the taxi and somehow claim it back from some person tomorrow, then met with a shoulder shrug when I said no just isn’t ok. I spent all evening trying to sort out the check in. Communication failed terribly in this occasion. I was left to sit and basically deal with my reservation myself for 4 1/2 hours talking to the company I booked with, not knowing If I was getting a room here or not and looking for other places to stay. To find out there was a problem with the payment, which if I was told from the beginning it could have been dealt with a lot quicker and reduced the stress of trying to be sent to another hotel, not knowing if they actually had my booking. A lot of reassurance points were missed. Which wasn’t a great start to my holiday. However on another note, This hotel has huge potential and I don’t think the owners realise. It just needs some some TLC, with its location being 5mins from the airport, the beach out side, ***** of restaurants 30 seconds away, volley ball, water sports on the beach out front and 2mins walk from the bus stop to larnaka centre (or 30/40min walk) and only a 5min walk to the salt lake. The actual hotel needs some love and work to it. With the partnership it has with last minute.com and potentially others, it could do really well and stand a very good chance in the market. Just some advice , Get the pool and upstairs bar fixed so it’s suitable for leisure guests when they come next summer. As it stands you wouldn’t be able to relax in the hotel during the day. The lobby area is lovely and spacious, the decorations and branding is simplistic which is nice. The outside of the hotel looks lovely with the huge flamingo. Do up the bedrooms, get the showers fixed, re paint, fix the door handles , make it look fresh like the photos advertised. When you get more guests coming , then focus on re designing the breakfast buffet, so there’s more of a selection. Then focus on customer service and making it feel warm. Let people aware you have made changes and ask the guests to leave reviews, better your chances of new business and more money. As people read reviews before staying. Look at the surrounding market and competition, what are your USP’s ?, where do you stand out?. It’s such a shame to see a hotel with potential go to waste. I hope the owners see this and start to put some love into the hotel.

Como miembro de Accor, he reservado el Mercure Larnaca Beach Resort. Mis expectativas se han superado mucho. El hotel fue abierto recientemente y todo es completamente nuevo y limpio! El personal es muy intentado, amable y competente. ¡Para mencionar es Denis en la recepción, super amable y profesional. En la cocina Valentina es un sueño! Además, quiero mencionar al camarero con los cabello oscuro más largos - amable, siempre abierto a una conversación. En todo el personal es excelente! La ubicación del hotel está a unos 20 minutos del aeropuerto de Larnaca. Está situado en la playa con una hermosa instalación polaca. Teníamos habitaciones 404, muy modernas y de tamaño una habitación normal estándar. Comimos 3 veces en el hotel por la noche - era excelente y muy delicioso. En torno al hotel hay algunos restaurantes y cafés. Un supermercado está a 2 minutos del hotel. Puedo recomendar el hotel y volveré a ver el verano. 10 de 10 puntos - así que las vacaciones son divertidas.

We arrived in Larnaca early morning after a very long flight. The staff at the hotel were extremely accommodating getting us settled into a room that exceeded our expectations. The property has been refurbished nicely and is very clean. It is in a shopping area close to the beach and lots of restaurants.

We stayed here for 16 nights recently and couldn't have been more satisfied with the hotel, staff and the service we received. We have stayed here in the past and when looking for a hotel in this lovely area of Cyprus, had no hesitation in booking again. Antonis the Manager and his staff were so pleasant and helpful and we hope to go back next year.

Visitamos Larnaca por primera vez con fin de conocer la ciudad y pasar unos dias de descanso.El hotel esta situado en un sitio centrico y muy comodo para pasear y hacer compras. Nos complacio en sumo grado el servicio en el hotel, la limpieza en los cuartos y su estilizado arreglo. El desayuno fue bien presentado, abundante y muy sabroso. Mas nos impresiono el personal en el hotel , estamos muy agradecidos a la empleada en la recepcion sta. Olesia, que nos ayudo en todo que pudo, hiciendo nuestra estancia todavia mas agradable.

After visiting another hotel of this group, I was extremely curious to come to The Ciao Stelio; however, I was disillusioned after seeing some reviews. Despite my doubts, I decided to go and was glad of my decision. From the first email, I got prompt and kind assistance regarding everything I was interested in (special thanks to Alexandros, Dimitris, and Stella for that), my additional requests have also been kindly noted (and satisfied at the end). Guys, thank you very much, you are amazing! Thanks to Anna, the check-in procedure was smooth and fast, and of course, I also annoyed her with tons of questions because I was so curious about everything around me. After coming to my spacious and lovely room, I forgot the fact that I’d ordered sparkling wine in the room and completely forgot about payment, was ready to come back to the reception but my thoughts were interrupted by the knock and when I opened the door I saw a smiling man who was welcoming me and telling that he was honored to deliver my complementary wine 😊 Nicos, you are top! A handsome man filling up the glass of champagne in my room – a better welcome is hard to imagine)))) Your service at Gambino Bar later for the dinner was so speedy and professional – thanks for making my evening, really. Adored Gambino bar for yummy-yummy food – quality is on the level (please make portions a bit bigger), will definitely come there again for a drink/snack. The only disappointing moment I had is due to the early working shift and the need to come back to Pafos I haven’t had a chance to appreciate the taste of breakfast but this issue can be easily sorted by the next visit. La habitación es muy agradable, pero no me gusta la habitación. Si alguien como yo, le gustan los gatos, eso sería un hotel perfecto para ellos, ya que hay gatos de calle cuidados locales cerca en una zona verde, que mantiene a ratas y bugs lejos.

El hotel dispone de una amplia gama de apartamentos con vistas impresionantes, personal fantástico y útil, ambiente amigable, todo está a pie de tiendas a restaurantes a farmacia y la playa está al otro lado de los apartamentos. El apartamento tiene habitaciones amplias y se limpió todos los días. Las toallas se proporcionaron con antelación y fue suficiente para nuestra estadía, el aire conocido funcionaba como magia y la vista al balcón lo hizo todo lo que merecía
