I recently had the pleasure of having my parents stay at this incredible hotel, and I must say, their experience was absolutely exceptional! From the moment they arrived, they were treated to five-star magic with impeccable service, helpfulness, and reliability. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make their stay unforgettable. Their room was absolutely beautiful, clean and what a breathtaking view of the ocean! Truly amazing and relaxing stay - a home away from home in an abundance of excellence! The sound of the ocean and balcony view was one of many highlights that made this stay truly unforgettable! The food was exquisite, with dinner and breakfast being another highlight of their stay. But what truly made their experience special was the attention to detail and the way the hotel celebrated their anniversary in grandeur. The gifts, chocolates, flowers, and balloons were a lovely touch that made the occasion truly unforgettable. My parents were blown away by the hotel's excellence and the staff's dedication to providing a memorable experience. They left with lifelong memories and can't wait to return. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable stay. Five stars isn't enough – this hotel deserves a glowing review!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel—it was my boyfriend’s first time visiting Durban, and this place completely blew his mind! From the moment we arrived, the incredible staff made us feel welcome, even surprising us with a free room upgrade. Our room had a breathtaking view of the ocean and the city skyline—perfect for relaxing and taking in the beauty of Durban. The location was unbeatable: just steps away from fantastic restaurants (we were spoiled for choice!), the beach, and even attached to a mall for ultimate convenience. Whether you’re looking for luxury, convenience, or just a stunning getaway, this hotel delivers on every level. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend.

El hotel está situado en una zona de la playa, en la que podrá comer todo con vistas a la playa, Toti Beach. Dos galerías de Mall. El hotel es muy íntimo, así que se prepárese para que ... Su comida es deliciosa, tuvimos cena allí en su restaurante llamado Giorgios, pero lo que debo decir es caro. El hotel está muy bien, pero no hay problema con el hotel. Entonces les pedimos que nos dieran al menos unas hojas de cama o cualquier lino para que podamos hacer un plan para nuestro hijo, dijeron que estaba bien pero nunca se apoderaron, nada, ni siquiera volver a nosotros para decir lo que podría ser. El día siguiente, volvimos a preguntar, se llevaron cuatro horas para traer unas camas. La línea de fondo es si tienes un hijo no, Repito NO book ese lugar porque se pondrán en tu cara diciendo que no podían llegar a ti desde que reservaste a través de un APP. No estoy seguro de que quiera hablar de su cocina en las habitaciones. Una cosa que puedo decir es que no escuchan y escuchan significa que respetan sus negocios y sus clientes. Volé del extranjero para descansar y disfrutar de un buen tiempo y tratarnos ya que tienen un ascensor, pero terminaba cancelando mis planes de un spa porque no quería más descontentos. El resto ni siquiera quiero mencionar ...y eso es mi experiencia después de pagar tanto dinero y esperando una buena vacaciones 😌 Pero ...

This is the one of the best hotel of my trip in SA. The swimming pool is amazing and fantastic. The view is also very well. I stayed in South Africa for 1 month and stayed in 10 different hotels. This one is really imprrssive. And I have view the best moon in my lives. I think I am even willing to cross half of the earth to stay there again. The room is not bad. But the disadvantage is the attitude of the receptionist and the professionalism of the restaurant staff are not good enough. Delayed the hotel's progress.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Umhlanga Arch and had a mostly positive experience. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Umhlanga with easy access to everything. The room was lovely and super comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay. The breakfast buffet was amazing,delicious and with plenty of options, which was a great way to start the day. However, the restaurant was way too hot. It felt like everyone was trying to grab a fan, and I honestly think they should either switch on the AC or find a better solution for cooling the space. The pool was nice and well-maintained, and it’s heated, but honestly, it felt a bit strange to swim in a hot pool during summer. I think the heated pool would be much more enjoyable during the cooler months, like in winter. Another downside is that they close the pool way too early….7 pm is pretty unreasonable, especially in a place like Umhlanga where you want to enjoy the evenings. Overall, it’s a good hotel with great amenities, but the restaurant temperature and early pool closure definitely need some attention.

La habitación es grande, el entorno está tranquilo, hay balcón, sala de reuniones independiente, lavandería y la cabina están separadas, el baño es grande, el servicio de recepción es cuidadoso, ayuda a llevar el equipaje a la habitación.

The hotel is well located, with easy access to the beach. Unfortunately the room itself was very small, especially for the price being charged. Breakfast was also limited. Service at the hotel was good though. Good food available 24/7 via room service. Had an amazing mutton bunny at 1am that really hit the spot!!!

Easy check-in, fabulous view. Peaceful and Quiet. Breakfast was fantastic. Restaurant staff are super helpful and friendly. The pool was stunning and great ambiance. However; 1. The bathroom was not clean. Please see the attached pictures of the hair left behind. 2. Nobody answered our room calls at 6 am 3. No dental kits are given/available 4. There are 0 lights in the ceiling. The side lamps and lights do not provide sufficient lighting. 5. The room was smaller than expected. 6. 1 small bottle of water is provided. The rooms are not provided with any more water except for this one small bottle. If you require more, you have to buy it.

The service was great. they must supply guests with enough towels for example if you booked for 2people they must bring two towels not one and also put mat on bathroom.
