Great hotel. Feels very new, fancy public areas and rooms are nicely decorated and very clean and fresh. Balcony was a nice thing also. Location is not that bad but there was a really annoying trumpet playing early morning from the nearby military compound. Otherwise no noise from street or corridor. Staff was good and mostly helpful but check in and out a bit cumbersome. Breakfast options really amazing. Also had some drinks and snacks at the rooftop bar but plenty things sold out. Would definitely come back but then try get a room facing the other side away from the trumpet people.

The best hostel of my entire trip! From the cleanliness of the rooms and comfortable beds to the kitchen and the wonderful staff—everything was perfect! I spent 11 nights at this hostel and didn't want to leave at all. At Oversleep Cat Ba, I was an important guest. my bed linen was changed every three days (or sooner at my request). There were always fresh towels at reception. Delicious food and the nicest chefs. At reception, you can resolve any issue. From renting a bike to withdrawing cash (I transferred money to a Vietnamese bank via Q-code and they kindly gave me the entire amount in cash) No stress or complications. I extended my reservation several times and didn't have to change beds; they organised everything for me. Sensitive and responsible. For making me feel at home away from home (this is not just a slogan, it is the motto of the entire hotel. The rooms and beds - a separate love Nowhere else have I found such comfortable and ergonomically correct beds Not only a locker, shelf, lamp and socket, but also a large amount of space on the side of the bed where you can conveniently lay out your things (and hide your backpack in a large locker under the bed) No mess and always clean. Clean and functional showers and toilets. Plenty of space, no unpleasant odours. Importantly, there is space to work. The bar has enough space for fun evenings and for work. Uninterrupted Wi-Fi, excellent speed. The hostel observes quiet hours. For breakfast, I always asked for extra bread with my meal, and I was never refused. In the end, I didn't even have to ask; the staff knew me and offered me bread themselves. So nice! Thank you! The room is starting to show its age, but it remains very well maintained, functional, and thoughtfully equipped. Everything worked as expected, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout my stay. In-room dining was on the expensive side, but the portions were surprisingly generous and good for sharing. The only downside was the road construction right next to the hotel. The noise continued throughout the day and sometimes into the night, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. This is obviously not the hotel’s fault, but it did affect the overall experience. Other than that, everything was great and I would happily stay again.

Reseña del Hotel View Point Anh Quan, Cat Ba Recientemente tuve el placer de alojarme en el Hotel View Point Anh Quan en Cat Ba y debo decir que fue una experiencia encantadora. El hotel está situado en una zona tranquila, lo que me proporcionó un remanso de paz después de un día explorando los hermosos alrededores. La ubicación es perfecta, a un corto paseo del muelle y cerca de la playa de Cat Co, lo que lo hace ideal para hacer turismo y disfrutar de las atracciones locales. La habitación en la que me alojé era espaciosa y limpia, con impresionantes vistas tanto desde mi balcón como desde la cafetería de la azotea. Despertar con un paisaje tan impresionante fue realmente lo mejor de mi viaje. El personal del hotel fue excepcional; amables, atentos y se desvivieron por garantizar que mi estancia fuera cómoda. Me ayudaron a organizar el transporte de Hanói a Cat Ba e incluso organizaron una fantástica excursión de un día a la bahía de Ha Long. El desayuno en el hotel fue agradable, con una variedad de opciones disponibles, incluyendo huevos al momento que estaban deliciosos. Hay una piscina y una playa frente al complejo. También hay una sala de juegos de realidad virtual, por lo que es ideal para que niños y adultos disfruten juntos. El paisaje era hermoso y el desayuno delicioso.

El hotel está bien ubicado, muy cerca de la estación de tren. Lo reservé para tomar el tren. Tiene una buena relación calidad-precio. El personal de recepción es amable. La habitación es amplia, limpia y cómoda. Lo recomiendo.
