UUsuario invitadoThe hotel itself is very nice, and the valet and bellhop staff were exceptionally friendly. The location is excellent, right on the Riverwalk, and the bed was very comfortable. The shower had great water pressure; however, if you’re tall, the shower head placement is not ideal—my husband is 5’10” and had to duck to use it.
We would consider staying again, but on our last morning the toilet clogged and overflowed onto the floor. This was frustrating, especially since very little toilet paper had been used. Most people would consider a toilet overflow an urgent issue that requires immediate attention. We called for assistance, but no one ever came. It seemed as though staff assumed they could wait since we had a couple of hours before checkout, which was disappointing. As a result, my husband had to go to the ground floor to use the restroom, and we had to navigate around toilet water on the bathroom floor while getting ready.

YYuanA unos días de San Antonio el tiempo es muy hermoso, el hotel está limpio, Ctrip es barato, aquí está el centro, muy cerca del bulevar junto al río, la distancia desde el centro de AT&T del Spurs Arena también es de cinco o seis kilómetros, pero desafortunadamente No es la hora del juego, no vi a Bobo anciano que está en el corazón de su corazón ... Desayuno, muy delicioso, no un poco acostumbrado a los próximos dos días, o nuestra comida china es deliciosa! !

UUsuario invitadoWe were excited after reading the reviews on Google, but when we arrived the single elevator was broken. We asked for a first level room, but were told they were sold out for the night. We arrived to our room and it smelled like it was smoked in but covered in air freshener. The smell seemed to be soaked in the walls. Since we were already told they were sold out, we didn’t attempt to ask for another room. The rooms mostly clean. We had 3 people and only 2 sets of towels. The room felt muggy and again, smelled.

AArneHotel gut gelegen, sauber und ruhig, Frühstück war nicht so reichhaltig wie von Hampton gewohnt (kein Obst), Personal war teilweise nicht aufmerksam (Frühstück).

UUsuario invitadoThe hotel looks more run down than the photos portrayed. Homeless people just around the corner, and that made us a little uneasy... but they seemed to keep to themselves and posed no immediate threat. Wallpaper peeling in multiple places, shower curtain torn at 2 places where attached to the shower rod, wires under AC exposed and could pose a tripping hazard. The room is dark, with 4 lamps and one wall light by the door. The lamps just lit the room somewhat. The bathroom lights were also dull.
Beds were comfy. Shower was nice, needed a slip mat though. View out the back windows was awful.
And on Thursday nights and maybe the weekend, there's an outdoor band playing right next door, loud enough to keep you awake into early hours.
Only 1 of the 2 elevators was operating, and it broke down twice on two different days. The staff was very quick at getting it fixed, and it seems this is a common occurrence with a note on the wall giving a warning.
Breakfast was good, but bacon would have been nice.
The staff was amazing, sweet, and considerate of our needs. If you don't mind ”not new”, then this hotel would be nice for you.
