The resort was definitely much smaller than it appeared in the pictures, but it was very nice indeed. Beautiful clean white sand, a lovely relaxing vibe, and generally pleasant surroundings. There is not much to do apart from swimming for my six-year-old, but that in itself was enjoyable. It was peak season, therefore it was a little bit crowded, however not to the point of total discomfort. The staff were pleasant and accommodating, and the restaurant food was mostly very tasty. Our one suggestion was well received, and likely to be rectified soonest. Nice breakfast spread - included all the stations, but the hot food selection could be a little more exciting. It would be great if the hotel itself could organize one or two activities. There was a volleyball and an attempt at a game the guests tried to pioneer which never quite happened. The rooms size is sufficient, nice big bed, my only complaint would be the fact that the fridge can be difficult to locate as it is very strangely positioned and hidden behind some panels. The central air conditioning seemed to be off in certain places, so it was hot in the corridors, fortunately the room air conditioning works very well. There isn't really anything in the way of fast food places and restaurants in close proximity, so only the hotel restaurant. This is fine for a few nights, but would probably get tedious for a longer stay. We enjoyed our stay overall, and would recommend and visit again!

Llegamos el viernes por la noche para tomar nuestro vuelo el domingo por la mañana. Era fácil acceder a todos los servicios para ir de compras; el desayuno era normal para este tipo de hoteles, pero el personal fue muy atento. Nos volveremos a alojar aquí cuando volvamos a Dar es Salaam.

Reservé este hotel por dos razones - es una propiedad Marriot ahora y la playa que vi en las fotos. Desafortunadamente, la playa está cerrada ahora y no hay acceso directo a ninguna playa. Fue una gran decepción. La otra cuestión era que no hay campanilla fuera de la habitación. Así que el personal tiene que golpear!! Si estás dormido o la televisión está encendida, no lo oirás. Un poco raro a pesar de ser una propiedad casada. El hotel está muy bien gestionado y la gente es muy agradable y hospitalaria. El desayuno buffet fue bueno con buenas opciones vegetarianas (que había pedido y el hotel era lo suficientemente amable para obligar). La habitación deluxe con vistas al océano era muy grande y tenía un bello balcón. aunque no directamente en la frontera, podría ver el océano ...it debería ser renombrado como vista parcial del océano. También está situado en una zona agradable de la ciudad.

Bueno, esta es mi segunda vez en Tanzania y lo curioso es que vine durante el caos, pero lo mejor de este hotel es que hice amigos. El dueño era como de la familia, me cuidaban como si fuera de la familia. Nadie pedía alquiler ni nada, y todos en el hotel me hicieron sentir como en casa, así que sin duda volveré una y otra vez. ¡La mejor hospitalidad de Tanzania!

Happy with the service, staff were polite and helpful...breakfast was descent and room service meals were reasonably price...I especially loved their spring rolls, samosa and masala tea!

Got the poorest service ever. Having confirmed the bookings for 5 rooms and and arriving late only to be told I hadn't paid for all the rooms. Breakfast available for only few guests so one has wake very early to get breakfast. Very poor choice. There's actually nothing good to say about the service in this hotel. 2 out of 5.
