The night staying with Jesus and Mari was more than I expected. The room and the bathroom are literally brand new, very clean, comfortable and relaxing. I slept well and warm at night. They're expanding their island, so it makes my stay more unique by witnessing the process. A real experience! I spent a lot of time just taking a sunbath, naps, and reading the book which they provided in the room - it was about Taquile island, very interesting and informative! Jesus also took me on a Uros tour. We even went collecting the **** Totora! He shared a lot of knowledge about their culture and lifestyle. Besides Uros, he also knows a lot about Taquile. Mari instead showed me her beautiful artwork, which we're able to bring back if we want 🧡 And the lunch she cooked, uuuuf, delicious and abundant! With a lot of veggies and fresh trucha. I couldn't even finish it. And I highly recommend the location, it's on the edge of the Uros community, so tourists don't see us, and we're not bothered. I enjoyed the whole view of the lake and the night scene of Puno by myself. Bring your camera if you love photography. The sunset and the Milky way are charming. Btw, Jesus will take us from the port Kalapajra to the island. From the center, the red minibus only costs 1 sole. He replied WhatsApp quite promptly. The check-in/checkout was also flexible. Really appreciate it. I would love to stay 2-3 more days on Kontiki if the time allows! Felt it's much worth than just a day tour.

La cabaña amplia, cómoda y limpia. Una vista hermosa al lago. La comida sencilla, pero bien preparada. La gente del sitio muy amable, atenta y dispuesta a ayudar en todo momento.La experiencia de una noche en el lago fué única y maravillosa.

Excellent place just next to Titicaca. Great welcoming staff, good food. It was a welcome break after a long drive from Colca canyon.

Hay hoteles muy buenos alrededor del lago Titicaca, y no estaba abarrotado cuando fui. Los petroleros pueden recogerte en el muelle del hotel, lo cual es muy práctico.

Excelente hotel y experiencia de vida, hermoso ambiente, servicio considerado, muy cerca del muelle, muchos restaurantes cerca y muy conveniente para la ciudad.

El restaurante para el desayuno y la cena es precioso.

Não condiz com as outras Casa Andina que conheci no Peru; até a CASA ANDINA STANDARD MACHU PICCHU é melhor; principalmente em relação ao café da manhã. Não gostamos também do fato da gerente do hotel tomar café da manhã com os filhos/família no salão. No último dia em que ficamos no hotel, havia somente uma funcionária (tadinha, super querida) pra dar conta de tudo; um abuso...

He estado fuera durante más de dos meses y este es el hotel más rentable que he reservado. La habitación es grande, el desayuno es bueno y la ubicación es buena. El servicio de las dos niñas de recepción fue súper bueno, me ayudaron a llenar y cargar la visa boliviana, incluyendo hacer un itinerario, escanear, imprimir y fotocopiar, después de trabajar más de una hora solo cobraron 3.50 Dólares estadounidenses para copiar y escanear.

El hotel está en una calle tranquila cerca de la plaza principal y de las calles principales, a unos 5-6 minutos a pie. Muy impresionado por los excelentes servicios de su personal, especialmente Jimena, que puede hablar inglés con fluidez y fue muy útil para hacerme llamadas a mis guías cuando lo solicité. Me quedé allí dos noches. Y una cosa muy complaciente fue que tenían bolsas de té, café, agua caliente y tazas listas en cada piso del hotel, por lo que no todos tenían que bajar las escaleras para tomar algunas bebidas calientes y simplemente salieron un poco de la habitación para tomar algo. acceso a bebidas cuando sea necesario. ¡Tan conveniente y quedé profundamente impresionado! The hotel has a good location close to main squares, friendly staff but very little English and decent breakfast. The rooms are a bit below standard, mostly the doors are not sealed with big gaps around, hot water takes time to come, one night we had to call reception to sort it out. Over all we were a bit disappointed with the facilities.
