MMichael V.We were in the“Seabreaze“ apt, which was very clean and had the exact great views over the beach as described. The bed was comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our breakfast. While it was cold outside, the heating inside kept us warm and cozy. Parking in the garage underneath, or right beside the building for a larger car. Important to mention the Italian restaurant just 100m away at the corner, which is our absolute favourite when coming to Dunedin! We highly recommend staying at the Esplanade Apartments and will book again in the future.

TTommy_dejoReally nice looking room and a very good price performance ratio. And you even get a complimentary drink. Room was nice and warm upon arrival. I didnt really understand the self checkin for a second, cause i didnt know the rooms were directly at the parkinglot, where the whiteboards and the name are written. Really easy and useful for a fast checkin and checkout. I would stay there again.

VVT TravllerWe was late about 10min checked in at night. But the person in charge was still very friendly n helpful to helped us carried the luggage due to there was some distance from my car to the building that we stayed. Overall was cool and comfortable. The location was great and perfect as just very close to the octagon.

HHuimiaoLa habitación no era pequeña, pero la ventilación no era muy buena. El baño y el aseo compartidos eran incómodos, y el suelo de madera y el traqueteo de las puertas por la noche resultaban un poco inquietantes. No hay otros restaurantes cerca aparte del castillo; la cena en el hotel debe reservarse antes de las 17:00 y cuesta 95 NZ$ por persona.

UUsuario invitadoKudos to the check in staff, particularly, Sally Guo and Aaron who are both helpful n hospitable in assisting my family especially my hubby who needs accessible toilet n Sally took the trouble to find us a room for that purpose. Also the additional night booked with Dunedin Lodge simply worth it as they made sure we transfer to another room with ease in terms of checkout n checkin time. Next to botanic gardens n 5 mins walk to supermarket n local community are what I'd consider n recommend to all who'd like to find a suitable n excellent accommodation.

The host was very friendly, responsive, and made us feel welcome from check-in to check-out. We really appreciated the hospitality and attention to detail.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for making our trip even more enjoyable!

まず、清潔感がとてもあります。共有スペースも綺麗ですし、宿泊者も皆綺麗に使用しています。各部屋も綺麗で、下の段のベットにカーテンがついていて閉められるようになっていることも素晴らしいです。
また、ホットチョコレートや紅茶が飲めるように準備してあります。ニュージーランドは秋で寒かったので、ホステルに戻ると温かい飲み物が飲めるということがとても嬉しかったです。
遅いチェックインで朝早くのチェックアウトでしたが、事前から連絡をくれて、丁寧に対応してくださりました。
また、泊まりたいと思う素敵なホテルでした！

JJimmy正I stayed at the Law Courts Hotel recently, and it was a bit of a mixed experience. The building is very old and hasn’t had much renovation. The bathroom still has those separate hot and cold taps, which are inconvenient, and the carpet looked quite worn and not very clean—it definitely feels like the place could use some updating.
That said, the location is fantastic—right in the heart of Dunedin, so it’s super convenient for getting around. It’s also very affordable, which is a big plus if you’re on a budget. Just keep in mind that being so central means it can be noisy; Saturday night, in particular, was hard to sleep through with all the street noise.
Overall, if you’re after a budget-friendly place in a great location and don’t mind the quirks of an older hotel, it’s worth considering. But if you’re looking for something more modern and comfortable, you might want to look elsewhere.
