UUsuario invitadoA very nice hotel, great location and access, room felt cozy, jacuzzi was kind of a highlight, it could've been cleaner though. Fridge was a little dirty and one of the mugs had coffee residue, which was kind of gross honestly. Water cooker still had some water inside.

They collected my contact details right away and promised to look for me and contact me as early as possible. They called as promised even though my handbag wasn't there. Their dedication and kindness and professional service are so much appreciated!

UUsuario anónimoLa ubicación del hotel es excelente. Está a poca distancia a pie de muchos lugares, incluyendo numerosos restaurantes, cafeterías y zonas comerciales; en resumen, está a poca distancia del centro de la ciudad. Como punto negativo, aunque nuestro check-in era a las 15:00, no nos llevaron a la habitación hasta las 17:30. El personal de limpieza no pudo terminar de limpiar porque era Año Nuevo; nos ofrecieron café como disculpa por la espera. Cuando dijimos que saldríamos una hora más tarde, al principio se negaron, pero finalmente aceptaron debido a la larga espera. Las habitaciones tienen ventanas, pero no se abren. Las puertas de la ducha y el inodoro son de cristal esmerilado y se puede ver el interior. Las puertas no cierran con llave y las habitaciones son muy estrechas. La cama es muy amplia y cómoda. Nuestras sábanas estaban sucias, pero las de los niños estaban muy limpias.

KKen5335Arrived at 7+am due to overnight train. Service staff initially refused my Euro note for city tax that I exchanged in SG. It had at most a 0.1-0.2mm tear. Asked for legal policies, but the staff incorrectly stated that the note is not allowed to be accepted in the Netherlands (it is a hotel specific policy which probably the accountant has attacked the staff not to accept such notes for fear of bank rejecting?)and had some altercations, finally service staff sarcastically accepted my Euro note saying she will take a risk with her manager Mr. Z. Beside that bad altercation, it is a no frills clean hotel. Beware of luggage storage fees I saw at the counter. Luggage storage might not be free as per usual all other hotels.. You are better off paying for early check in or late check out if applicable. Breakfast was good as well. Location is okay as well.

GGeiorgiestravelsThe location is convenient. I arrived by bicycle and was able to secure my bicycle the the racks in the square in front of the hotel. It is a 10-15 walk to central station, cube house, Oude Haven and other tourist sites. There is shopping precinct and major supermarket 10 min walk away. I went to a concert at de Doelen which was next to central station so easy to get to. I recommend doing to 15 min walk to the waterfront and getting the water taxi from Erasmusbrug as a cheap way to do a river cruise … the water taxi even goes all the way to Kinderdjik , the famous windmill area. I stayed in the triple female only room. The was one other roommate with whom I had no problems. The room felt spacious. Each bed had its own light and charging point. There were no curtains though the board with the lamp and charging point acted as a privacy shield. Bedding is laid out on the bed and you make the bed yourself. Comfy bed. There were several showers and toilets located in the corridor as well as separate sinks. The shower had hot water …. Is the type you press the button to 30 seconds of water then press again which helps conserve water. Bring your own towel or hire one. Rooms have keycard access. You need your own padlock for the locker in the room. The locker will not fit a big suitcase though my carryon sized luggage fitted ok. I was on the top floor in an annex type area where it was very quiet. I had no issues with cleanliness though I did notice an empty drinks container in the toilet for a couple of days. There is a small area near reception with seating and small tables where it is possible to sit and eat your own food. There is a small kitchenette area with one fridge, kettle, microwave ,air fryer and a hot plate. Using the hotplate for foods such as pasta, rice, boiling eggs is permitted but not frying nor cooking smelly foods. It is very helpful to be able to use these resources for quick food prep, though keep in mind that you may need to wait at meal times and utensils are limited. There appeared to be some people living there who had their own cooking utensils. Like many places in the Netherlands there is a steep staircase to get in, so even though there is a lift to get to the different floors, the first staircase will be a hurdle for those with a large suitcase. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay again.

We initially followed Apple Maps, which led us on a longer path, but there's actually a more direct route. The hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood, offering a peaceful environment. It's within walking distance to Chinatown, where you can find various dining and shopping options. We appreciated the spaciousness of our room, which provided a comfortable space to relax after a day of exploring. The decor is stylish, with a marine theme and dark tones that add a cozy ambiance. However, some guests have noted that rooms can feel smaller than expected, and the dark interior may not appeal to everyone. Additionally, sound insulation between rooms could be improved, as footsteps from upstairs can be heard. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet with a variety of options, though some guests felt it lacked certain basics. On the positive side, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the hotel's location makes it convenient to explore the city. Overall, Le Marin Boutique Hotel provides a comfortable stay with a unique atmosphere, suitable for travelers seeking a tranquil environment close to the city's attractions.

UUsuario invitadoLa recepcionista fue grosera. Al principio me asignó una habitación en el tercer piso. Subí y, literalmente, había alguien durmiendo en la cama. Así que volví a recepción para pedir otra habitación. Suspiró con incredulidad, como si fuera tonta. Me interrogó y, en general, fue grosera (suspirando, sin siquiera disculparse por el error, y nada amable). Simplemente hizo algunas gestiones administrativas en silencio y me dio una nueva tarjeta sin decir nada. La habitación y el baño estaban bien, pero un poco cutres. El vestíbulo del hostal parecía prometedor, pero en realidad, los pasillos de la habitación parecían sospechosos e inseguros. Había gente merodeando, sentada en la escalera (de forma sospechosa, no para socializar). Las paredes son finísimas; se oía a los padres regañando a sus hijos y a los niños gritando y llorando. No recomendaría este lugar teniendo en cuenta su alto precio.

UUsuario invitadoLocation is exceptional - just outside Markthal and a 5 min walk from the harbours. 20 second walk from Rotterdam Blaak Train and Metro Station. You do get what you pay for however - rooms are VERY small (as depicted). There is a Shared “kitchen” area with tea / coffee also there. Our shower didnt drain properly and so anything longer than 5 mins flooded the hotel room lol. Also no privacy in the bathroom - no lock and its frosted glass so be wise who you share it with! Only had 2 flat pillows for a double bed so that was a bit meh. Also a draft in the window so being December it was quite cold. AC / heating didn’t work either. TV worked with Netflix and Youtube, and you could stream from your phone but this was a bit temperamental. Reception were kind but seemed a little unorganised / unsure about things. Would defo come here again however for a budget stay in the city, the location is absolutely unbeatable :
