UUsuario invitadoA very nice hotel, great location and access, room felt cozy, jacuzzi was kind of a highlight, it could've been cleaner though. Fridge was a little dirty and one of the mugs had coffee residue, which was kind of gross honestly. Water cooker still had some water inside.

UUsuario invitadothe staff was very friendly and very helpful. I called the hotel contact number for help after realizing I lost my small handbag somewhere. They collected my contact details right away and promised to look for me and contact me as early as possible. They called as promised even though my handbag wasn't there. Their dedication and kindness and professional service are so much appreciated!

The metro station Eendrachtsplein is just right next to the hotel, and it’s just one stop away from the World Trade Centre.
Walkable distance to the supermarket Albert Heijn or Dirk and the famous shopping areas called Lijnbaan
🛌Room: spacious and nice sound proof, my room is located on the 10th floor, can’t hear any sounds from the street / tram
🫠However improvement is needed for the hygiene, stains are found on the couch and the tv remote control is quite dirty. Can tell either the previous hotel guests had very oily hands/ like to eat chips/ popcorns/ biscuits while using the remote. I had to use the alcohol wipe to clean it before using it🤢
🛀Bathroom: hygiene is acceptable, shower gel, conditioner, shampoo, dryers are provided but not the tooth brush / paste. I brought my own so I didn’t ask for it.
🚿Sufficient water pressure from the shower and the bathtub did help me a lot after a long day.
🥋Bath rope and slippers are provided.
There’re a mini fridge, coffee machine, and an electric water broiler. 🤢however I found there’re some sediments in the broiler so I just brought the bottle water from the supermarket instead.
🍞🥖🥐Breakfast: average to good, a wide selection of pastry, and cheese. With salmon, ham, sausages, scrambled eggs, hard/ soft boiled eggs, yogurts and some grannolas
💁🏻♀️Staff: attentive and kind
- i didn’t wait for too long for check in, waiting time was just around 5 mins, since I arrived at around 12 and I just asked whether my room was ready and the reception was kind to help me to see whether early check in was possible! Lucky me, I could get my room earlier.
- The reception also helped me to receive my delivery and stored it for me until I returned to the hotel. Thank you so much for helping me out.
🫤The day before the last day, I checked with the counter at the breakfast receptionist that she said she didn’t find my record for the breakfast on my last day (the check out day), she advised me to purchase for the extra breakfast, if I wanted. However, when I looked at my hotel booking that it’s included. so if you are also booked with the breakfast, make sure you double check with them.

UUsuario invitadoMi familia y yo pasamos dos noches en este hotel durante nuestras vacaciones de verano. Era un hotel agradable con un diseño intrigante. El bar y el restaurante tenían un camarero muy amable. Sin embargo, hay aspectos en los que el hotel podría mejorar. Entre ellos, la necesidad de un ascensor (las escaleras son muy pequeñas y empinadas, especialmente si se lleva una maleta grande) y las habitaciones son bastante pequeñas.
Llegamos a Róterdam el mismo día en que comenzaba el Carnaval de verano. Lamentablemente, no fue una experiencia agradable, ya que las calles estaban abarrotadas de gente y se bebía demasiado. Como familia, nos sentimos inseguros. Al día siguiente, las calles estaban llenas de basura.

UUsuario anónimoLa ubicación del hotel es excelente. Está a poca distancia a pie de muchos lugares, incluyendo numerosos restaurantes, cafeterías y zonas comerciales; en resumen, está a poca distancia del centro de la ciudad. Como punto negativo, aunque nuestro check-in era a las 15:00, no nos llevaron a la habitación hasta las 17:30. El personal de limpieza no pudo terminar de limpiar porque era Año Nuevo; nos ofrecieron café como disculpa por la espera. Cuando dijimos que saldríamos una hora más tarde, al principio se negaron, pero finalmente aceptaron debido a la larga espera. Las habitaciones tienen ventanas, pero no se abren. Las puertas de la ducha y el inodoro son de cristal esmerilado y se puede ver el interior. Las puertas no cierran con llave y las habitaciones son muy estrechas. La cama es muy amplia y cómoda. Nuestras sábanas estaban sucias, pero las de los niños estaban muy limpias.

KKen5335Arrived at 7+am due to overnight train. Service staff initially refused my Euro note for city tax that I exchanged in SG. It had at most a 0.1-0.2mm tear. Asked for legal policies, but the staff incorrectly stated that the note is not allowed to be accepted in the Netherlands (it is a hotel specific policy which probably the accountant has attacked the staff not to accept such notes for fear of bank rejecting?)and had some altercations, finally service staff sarcastically accepted my Euro note saying she will take a risk with her manager Mr. Z. Beside that bad altercation, it is a no frills clean hotel. Beware of luggage storage fees I saw at the counter. Luggage storage might not be free as per usual all other hotels.. You are better off paying for early check in or late check out if applicable. Breakfast was good as well. Location is okay as well.

GGeiorgiestravelsThe location is convenient. I arrived by bicycle and was able to secure my bicycle the the racks in the square in front of the hotel. It is a 10-15 walk to central station, cube house, Oude Haven and other tourist sites. There is shopping precinct and major supermarket 10 min walk away. I went to a concert at de Doelen which was next to central station so easy to get to. I recommend doing to 15 min walk to the waterfront and getting the water taxi from Erasmusbrug as a cheap way to do a river cruise … the water taxi even goes all the way to Kinderdjik , the famous windmill area.
I stayed in the triple female only room. The was one other roommate with whom I had no problems. The room felt spacious. Each bed had its own light and charging point. There were no curtains though the board with the lamp and charging point acted as a privacy shield. Bedding is laid out on the bed and you make the bed yourself. Comfy bed. There were several showers and toilets located in the corridor as well as separate sinks. The shower had hot water …. Is the type you press the button to 30 seconds of water then press again which helps conserve water. Bring your own towel or hire one.
Rooms have keycard access. You need your own padlock for the locker in the room. The locker will not fit a big suitcase though my carryon sized luggage fitted ok. I was on the top floor in an annex type area where it was very quiet. I had no issues with cleanliness though I did notice an empty drinks container in the toilet for a couple of days.
There is a small area near reception with seating and small tables where it is possible to sit and eat your own food. There is a small kitchenette area with one fridge, kettle, microwave ,air fryer and a hot plate. Using the hotplate for foods such as pasta, rice, boiling eggs is permitted but not frying nor cooking smelly foods. It is very helpful to be able to use these resources for quick food prep, though keep in mind that you may need to wait at meal times and utensils are limited. There appeared to be some people living there who had their own cooking utensils.
Like many places in the Netherlands there is a steep staircase to get in, so even though there is a lift to get to the different floors, the first staircase will be a hurdle for those with a large suitcase.
Reception staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay again.

DDua @ LuaWe stayed at Le Marin Boutique Hotel during our trip to Rotterdam. While the hotel is not far from Rotterdam Centraal, first-time visitors should plan their route in advance. We initially followed Apple Maps, which led us on a longer path, but there's actually a more direct route.
The hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood, offering a peaceful environment. It's within walking distance to Chinatown, where you can find various dining and shopping options.
We appreciated the spaciousness of our room, which provided a comfortable space to relax after a day of exploring. The decor is stylish, with a marine theme and dark tones that add a cozy ambiance.
However, some guests have noted that rooms can feel smaller than expected, and the dark interior may not appeal to everyone. Additionally, sound insulation between rooms could be improved, as footsteps from upstairs can be heard.
The hotel offers a breakfast buffet with a variety of options, though some guests felt it lacked certain basics. On the positive side, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the hotel's location makes it convenient to explore the city.
Overall, Le Marin Boutique Hotel provides a comfortable stay with a unique atmosphere, suitable for travelers seeking a tranquil environment close to the city's attractions.

UUsuario invitadoLa recepcionista fue grosera. Al principio me asignó una habitación en el tercer piso. Subí y, literalmente, había alguien durmiendo en la cama. Así que volví a recepción para pedir otra habitación. Suspiró con incredulidad, como si fuera tonta. Me interrogó y, en general, fue grosera (suspirando, sin siquiera disculparse por el error, y nada amable). Simplemente hizo algunas gestiones administrativas en silencio y me dio una nueva tarjeta sin decir nada.
La habitación y el baño estaban bien, pero un poco cutres. El vestíbulo del hostal parecía prometedor, pero en realidad, los pasillos de la habitación parecían sospechosos e inseguros. Había gente merodeando, sentada en la escalera (de forma sospechosa, no para socializar). Las paredes son finísimas; se oía a los padres regañando a sus hijos y a los niños gritando y llorando. No recomendaría este lugar teniendo en cuenta su alto precio.
