El personal de este hotel fue increíblemente amable y atento durante toda nuestra estancia. Las habitaciones estaban impecables y eran muy cómodas. Disfrutamos mucho del delicioso desayuno y la cena buffet de mariscos, y nos encantó su ubicación tan conveniente cerca de las principales atracciones.

Room size big. Comfortable bed. Normal toilet no bathtub. Got gym but no sauna. Nice rooftop swimming pool. Variety spread for breakfast. But as a new hotel, the vibe is only external. The interior design looks like a normal hotel with no modern or significant changes.

Muy cerca del paseo marítimo. Servicio excelente. Habitación con un diseño muy bonito. Nos alojamos dos noches. Volveremos. Lo recomendamos.

The hotel is quite new, and very close to the airport. The buffet breakfast is good. However, it seems the staff were not familiar with the system so the check-in took a long time. Besides, there were renovation noises at 8-9am in the morning upstairs which was a bit disturbing. Lastly, it can take a long time for deposits refund (3 days already and I haven’t received it)

To best describe this place, it's like a mini paradise atop a cliff overlooking the beautiful sea, with a twist of staying in large cylindrical concert culverts. You can easily spot it along the road to Damai with its large circular logo at its gate. It was closed upon my arrival at 3pm, but due to the main entrance being easily seen from the receptionist area, it didn't take long for them to open the gate, and I just drove right in. The receptionist was very polite and welcoming, decently professional as well, after checking us in we were given a quick tour around, highlighting the facilities and public areas. The room itself, being quite quirky in its own way, isn't too difficult to maneuver around, as long as you don't rush yourself and knock yourself around the relatively tiny room. Adequate steps are built to help climbing up and moving around, with simple storage spots around the bed, which by itself takes up about half of the room. The other side of the room is the bathing area, which I would say is surprisingly spacious enough to use. So a bed and a bathing area sums up the entire, unique cylindrical room. The hotel itself is nicely planned, guests can pamper themselves by picking their favorite spots located around the place, and enjoy a marvelous view of the sea. There's also a small private beach all the way down the cliff too. Facilities include swimming pools, sauna room, washer + dryer machines, gymnasium, library, etc. are pretty neat if you need them. I would say the place is great for couples, and a short refresher trip. I technically live in the city just half an hour drive away, but to catch a break from work and relax here for a day, I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat. Just make sure you've got the legs to climb up and down the place!

La habitación es muy confortable y limpia. Nos sorprendió porque se concedieron mis solicitudes y pudimos celebrar una celebración de cumpleaños tarde para mi primo. La vista de la ciudad desde nuestra habitación es tan hermosa y podemos ver el sol.

The front desk service was excellent. I had an appointment outside and was unable to return to the hotel before the check-out time. The staff kindly kept my luggage safely at the lobby until I returned later to collect it. I really appreciated their helpful and accommodating service.

El personal es muy servicial y amable. Al principio me dieron otra habitación, pero no estaba bien limpia. Tuvieron la amabilidad de cambiarme a otra. Gracias.

El Damai Beach Resort es perfecto para un corto paseo, con acceso directo a la playa, espaciosas habitaciones y vistas al sol maravillosos. La combinación de playa y bosque tropical crea un ambiente tranquilo que se siente refresco y único. Muy bueno para cualquiera que busque descanso y disfrute de una escape tranquila en Kuching. Definitivamente vale la pena para el escenario solo ✨

We booked this place last minute after denied check in at another place only to be able to stay at the said hotel after few hours. Forced to cancel and never stay in the unit but had an experience dealing with the owner. Although it cant be refunded but lets assume its a good place based on the pictures alone haha
