Recientemente tuve el placer de alojarme en el Hotel Penang Marjorie y, en general, fue una experiencia encantadora. Lo más destacado de mi estancia fue, sin duda, la amabilidad del personal. La atención al detalle en la decoración y las comodidades de la habitación mejoró mi experiencia general. Sin embargo, tuve algunos problemas durante mi estancia. El sistema de ascensores era algo confuso, especialmente al intentar acceder al aparcamiento de la cuarta planta. A menudo requería varios viajes entre nuestra planta y el vestíbulo. Además, noté que las luces del ascensor a veces se encendían sin moverse, lo que aumentaba la confusión. Otro aspecto a mejorar es el servicio de la piscina. Intenté contactar por WhatsApp para solicitar el servicio, pero lamentablemente no recibí respuesta. Este aspecto de mi estancia fue decepcionante, ya que esperaba una experiencia más fluida mientras disfrutaba de la piscina. En resumen, aunque mi estancia en el icónico Hotel Marjorie fue agradable gracias al maravilloso personal y la encantadora habitación, espero que puedan solucionar los problemas del ascensor y mejorar el servicio de la piscina para una experiencia más fluida en el futuro. ¡Aun así, recomiendo este hotel a cualquiera que busque una estancia agradable en Penang!

El hotel es ideal para parejas en luna de miel y para quienes buscan privacidad. El paisaje de la playa es muy bonito y relajante. As we entered the unit at 9.00 pm due to last minute bookings, the unit was clean and tidy. Even though the hall's air conditioning is sweezing but well functioning. Overall, we are happy for the stay and very highly recommended for family or friends with 3-6 person as they provide 2 single beds, 1 double decker and 1 queen bed. Ample space at hall attached with the dining table. Further more, the unit located at the very next elevators, less worrying when we get in and out at night especially. Easy to get various foods and basic stuff and there are clinics and self-laundry down stairs. We will surely looking forward for the next visit.

Nearby Penang airport , convenient stay during midnight flight. Check in and check out process very fast.

Pros: Decent Location: Centrally situated in George Town, making it relatively convenient to access nearby street food and local heritage sites. Cons: Terrible Soundproofing: The most frustrating part of the stay was the complete lack of noise isolation. You can hear virtually everything from adjacent rooms and the hallway—talking, TV noise, and doors slamming late into the night. Sleeping comfortably was nearly impossible. Cramped Rooms: The room size is extremely tight. There is barely enough space to open a large suitcase flat, and the layout feels restrictive and claustrophobic. Paid Parking: Unlike many hotels that offer complimentary guest parking, here you have to pay out of pocket for parking spaces, which adds unnecessary extra cost to an already underwhelming stay. Verdict: Unless you are on an extremely tight budget and plan to spend zero time resting in your room, it is hard to recommend. The lack of basic sleep quality and added parking hassle mean there are far better hotel choices nearby for the same price point.
