The host is friendly, responsive and understanding. However, the stay is a very forgettable one. This review is solely based on the overall experience staying at this apartment. It is to create awareness for others in case they have kids and would like to stay here as it has 2 Queen bed accommodation. For context, it is a condominium with dual keys unit, meaning it has one main entrance followed by 2 separate doors for each unit. I do not want anyone to been through what we did. We check-in late around 5pm, the kids are excited when they entered the room happily and shouting. Out of a sudden, we heard a guy shouting from the other unit, we opened the door and he shouted at us angrily. He said he is staying here and he is sleeping, do not make any noise. We obliged and tried to keep our volume down. We went out after and back to the stay around 10pm. My kids suddenly cried and he shouted “Hello!”and slammed the door loudly. We will all stunned and speechless. The kids are only 3 and 8 fyi, and I have to tell them to be quiet for the whole time while staying here. What’s the joy of staying here for? To be honest, it is late at night at level 39 and with an unknown mental unwell guy just beside us really makes our stay a very stressful and threatening one. We slept for the night as it is late and the kids are tired. We left the stay asap the next morning.

⭐ Perfect Staycation Spot Away from Busy JB ⭐ Had a really enjoyable stay at Renaissance Hotel JB! The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable — exactly what you need for a relaxing break. The hot shower was amazing after a long day out exploring and shopping. Love the location too! It’s away from the busy JB Central area, so it’s quieter and more peaceful without the crowd. At the same time, everything you need is nearby — Mr DIY, FamilyMart, Woodfire, McDonald’s and ZUS Coffee are just around the area. Bonus: If you’re here on a Sunday night, there’s a pasar malam nearby where you can grab snacks and enjoy the local vibes. 😋 Getting around is also easy with Grab. A short ride brings you to Mid Valley Southkey for food, shopping, massage and movies. Honestly, the room was so comfortable that I just wanted to stay in, relax and sleep till tomorrow. 😂 Will definitely come back again — next time I’ll book with breakfast included! 👍

Booked this last minute, and it turned out to be the best budget hotel I’ve stayed at in JB. The room was clean, and the location was super convenient. It’s surrounded by plenty of shops and eateries, with Chagee, KOI, Mixue, McDonald’s, KFC, FamilyMart, laundromats, and pretty much everything you need within walking distance.

Nos quedamos aquí siempre que vemos al médico en el hospital de regencia. Sólo tomar 5 minutos a pie al hospital. La habitación es agradable. El desayuno es bueno, pero hay que mejorar la variedad. Por esta vez la toalla y la plancha necesita cambiar muchas veces, ya que tiene muchas pinturas n parece amarillo. Por favor, prestar más atención a la limpieza de todas las utilidades. En general es bueno, pero puede mejorarse para obtener lo mejor. La próxima vez quedaremos aquí otra vez. Gracias.

I recently stayed at Jazz Hotel JB and left with mixed feelings overall. One thing I genuinely appreciated was the parking arrangement. There is a car park available outside the hotel, and the hotel covers the street parking fees for guests, which I found to be a thoughtful and convenient touch that saved me the extra hassle. However, the room did not quite live up to my expectations. I stayed in Room 310, and the actual space looked noticeably different from the photos advertised online. It was a little disappointing to arrive and find that the room did not match what was published. The water heater in the bathroom was another issue I encountered. It only stayed warm for about two minutes, which meant I had to rush through my shower before the water turned cold. This was far from ideal, especially after a long day out. I also found the pillows to be unusually high, which left me waking up with neck pain the next morning. I requested a room change, hoping things would improve, but the second room had a slight unpleasant odour, so it was not much of an improvement either. In conclusion, I would say that Jazz Hotel JB is passable if you plan to spend most of your time outside exploring Johor Bahru and only need the hotel for sleeping. However, if you intend to spend a lot of time in the room, this may not be the ideal choice for you. The experience also seemed to depend heavily on which room you are assigned, as my two rooms were both underwhelming in different ways. Overall, my stay was a half hearted one. It was not bad enough to avoid entirely, but certainly not good enough to rave about either. Let me know if you'd like any further tweaks!

El hotel era limpio, en general. Sin embargo, cuando nos inspeccionamos, la ventana estaba abierta (posible para los burlaros entrar en el BC estabamos en el piso), una bolsa de café estaba en la puerta y había un espiar literal cuando vimos las toallas. Sin embargo, creo que el hotel vale una bala por un par de días de estancia.

Traveling in group.well prepared us for our arrival by bus. Good bed, good room . Only that the sound proof is really BAD. N breakfast is really BAD. Should mentioned in booking it is a packed breakfast. And if more than 20pax, in fact already can make it as a small buffet. Most of the guests didn't take their breakfast Amenities can be improved . Many rooms their room phone is not functioning. The hair dryer also forgot to send after the request. N malfunction too .

Buena ubicación, fácil registro y cerca de la autopista. Más económico que otros hoteles cercanos.
