Capri by Fraser Penang is a very new hotel. I understand it has only been operating for about two months. Since it’s new, the hotel is in excellent condition—everything is modern, very clean, and well maintained. The front desk staff and hotel team are also friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. There are, however, a few areas that could be improved. 1. Automated car parking system The hotel does not have conventional parking on each floor. Instead, it uses an automated stacking parking system where you drive your car into a vehicle lift, and the system parks the car automatically. While this is an interesting concept, there are only two vehicle lifts. Every time you return to the hotel or want to leave, you need to wait for the lift to park or retrieve your car. This can be time-consuming, especially during busy periods. In addition, the entrance to the vehicle lift is quite narrow, making it less suitable for larger vehicles and requiring extra care when driving in. 2. Drinking water dispenser Each guest floor has a drinking water dispenser, which is a thoughtful feature. However, the dispenser is installed on a countertop without a sink or drainage. Any spilled water remains on the surface, making the area look untidy. Over time, this may become a maintenance issue and detract from the hotel’s otherwise modern appearance. 3. Soap and lotion dispensers The in-room soap, body wash, and lotion dispensers need some improvement. During my stay, they frequently jammed and did not dispense smoothly, making them inconvenient to use. 4. Sound insulation The soundproofing could also be better. My initial room was close to the lifts, and I could clearly hear guests walking by and using the lifts. After requesting a room farther away from the lift lobby, the noise issue was largely resolved. If possible, I would recommend requesting a room away from the lifts. Overall Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The hotel is new, clean, and the staff provide excellent service. Most of the issues I experienced are relatively minor and can likely be addressed as the hotel settles into its operations. With improvements to the parking process, water dispenser design, bathroom dispensers, and sound insulation, Capri by Fraser Penang would offer an even better guest experience.

El servicio también es excelente. Disfrutamos mucho nuestra estancia. Todo fue cómodo y encantador. Muy recomendable. Ahora soy fan de los hoteles Shangri-La. Me encantó la rapidez con la que pude solicitar el servicio de habitaciones en línea.

Hotel nuevo, la limpieza era buena, la habitación era grande, la ubicación era buena, en general una buena experiencia con este hotel, lo más importante la relación calidad-precio.

Un muy buen hotel para explorar Georgetown . Personal amable, habitación amplia y limpia. Piscina con buenas vistas y un desayuno muy completo. Totalmente recomendable!! De hecho quisimos alargar una noche más nuestra estancia pero no tenían habitaciones libres. No está en el centro pero en 15’ andando te plantas en la calle más concurrida de la ciudad.

Hotel elevator too small and always full of residents thus we have to wait for long hours especially during peak hour. Received Queen size bed instead of King size as advertised, feed back to receptionist but no action taken. Problem pushed back to Trip.com as wrong information given to customer. No credibility by ALV. Sdn. Bhd as no action taken even though wrong information published in Trip.com

Bonito hotel en la calle Chulia, cerca de varios bares y restaurantes, con una animada vida nocturna. La habitación era muy espaciosa y tenía una ventana, pero no esperes mucho, ya que da al callejón. Hay mucho aparcamiento para los huéspedes del hotel. Volvería.

Esta es mi segunda estancia aquí, a pesar de las múltiples opciones disponibles en el casco antiguo de Georgetown. Me gusta la ubicación: céntrica, pero en una calle pequeña con poco tráfico (quienes duermen ligeros como yo lo agradecen, ya que alojarse en una casa comercial renovada suele tener un aislamiento acústico deficiente). La ​​habitación tiene un tamaño aceptable, se mantiene limpia y hay una fuente de agua potable gratuita para recargar agua filtrada (no se proporciona agua embotellada). Esta vez opté por desayunar, y la verdad es que fue una decepción. El arroz nasi lemak no olía bien, y la selección de platos calientes, especialmente las proteínas, es deficiente. Preferiría mucho más un desayuno local abundante en uno de los kopitiams de Georgetown.

La ubicación es muy estratégica. La próxima vez que vaya a Penang, definitivamente reservaré aquí nuevamente. Fui a Nasi Kandar Imigresen & Tea Kadai solo caminando. Muchos lugares virales cerca de este hotel para que no tengas que preocuparte por el estacionamiento. Simplemente estacione su auto cerca del hotel y camine. El personal es muy amable. Por suerte, podemos registrarnos a las 12:00 horas en lugar de a las 15:00 horas.

El hotel está limpio. Agua gratis. Habitación amplia. Hay un quiosco de comida en la entrada.

El lugar está impecable. Está justo al lado del centro (a 5 minutos en coche). El sofá cama es cómodo y elegimos la unidad con temática de cine (proyector). Disfrutamos de nuestra relajante sesión de cine al final de la noche. El proceso de registro también es claro y sencillo. En general, estamos satisfechos con el lugar.
