It’s the third time we came to Yufuin. Previously, we stayed in onsen hotels with meals provided. This time we are staying for 2 months in Japan to experience the local life, and Yufuin was our third stop, where we stayed for 6 nights. The service is top notch. The host responded very quickly whenever I had queries, and very clear instructions for free pick-up were given days before check-in. As we stepped in the house, the air- conditioner had already been turned on there were 3 big bottles of water in the fridge which made us feel so welcome. They collected our trash every day and asked us what we needed. The guesthouse is an independent unit full of beautiful Japanese decorations. It was sparkling clean and thoughtfully furnished with everything you need. A first-aid box was provided. We were given 12 sets of clean towels and toilet amenities, including toothbrushes. We have stayed in different apartments before and have never experienced this. More importantly, the kitchen was well equipped with everything—many cutlery items of different sizes and even wine glasses. There were a hot pot and a frying pan, a toaster, rice cooker, coffee machine, and even a dishwasher. You can't imagine there is even a massage chair! The bathroom was designed like an onsen. You can simply add some onsen powder to enjoy a hot bath. You can easily access different attractions on foot. The location is about a 20-minute walk to the nearby supermarkets, 25 minutes to the main shopping streets, and 30 minutes to the JR station. If you drive, it is even easier. For us, we enjoyed walking and seeing the beautiful scenery, so it was not a problem for us even though we didn’t drive. Every day we walked to the supermarkets and bought fresh produce to cook. We had so much fun making different dishes and hot pot. When we asked for a whetstone, the host quickly gave us theirs, and the next day, they bought us a new one. They even gave us sake as a gift. On the day of check-out, the host drove us to the JR station and helped us store our luggage in the visitors’ centre. Next time when we come to Yufuin, we will definitely stay here again. It’s really great value for money.

Beautiful and lovely onsen hotel with very helpful staff. This time there are two private onsen baths in our room, one indoor and one outdoor. It is quite inside the facility and relaxing. The quality of food was excellent too. The entrance to the hotel is not easy to find, as the street can be full of people and the entrance sign isn't such visible. You may want to seek help by contacting the hotel if you have trouble finding the entrance especially when you are driving there for the first time.

호텔이 너무 예쁘고 직원들이 모두 친절해서 불편없이 3박을 묵었어요. 숙소에서 바라본 유후다케산의 경치가 너무 아름다웠고 매일 온천을 즐기면서 행복했다. 식사는 고급재료로 매우 정성스럽게 준비됐다. 다만 수산물이나 회종류를 즐기지 않는 분은 메뉴를 양식류로 바꿀수있는지 문의해보는것도 좋을듯함. 다시 방문해보고 싶은 호텔임.

We checked in on 15 Jan, 2026 and planned to stay at the hotel for a nite. When we arrived the railway station , we walked around for a while and got a taxi outside the railway station to the hotel without paying the fare. Probably the hotel had arranged with the taxi drivers in that area that they will pay the fare directly. The check-in procedure is easy and comfy. 2 staff lead us to our room 小樓球。It’s a very nice room with 2 private onsen. The spring water is nice and made our skin very smooth. The hotel had arranged enough drinks for us, 3 alcoholic and 3 nonalcoholic. We had our dinner at ard 7pm. The presentation of the good is very good & eye catching. However, the quality of the sashimi was not very fresh. Taste of the tuna was a bit fishy and it’s wet and found bloody water after picked it up from the dish😓. I don’t eat beef and the hotel changed the 5 pcs of wagu to 3pcs of eel which didn’t taste very well. Not sure whether they grill it or not. Also they changed the beef that served with rice to miso and I didn’t think it’s fair enough. The breakfast on the next morning was up to standard. Bread was fresh and hot. Egg and sausage were quite good. Overall, service is good but the standard of dinner made me disappointed as I had informed the hotel at least one week before check-in and I think they have ample of time to adjust the menu for me. I’ve been to some other hotspring hotels with same request of not eating beef. They had changed my menu to chicken, pork or seafood like fish or shrimp and provide the equivalent size of meat for replacement.

對於不是自駕遊的旅客,位置十分方便，距離JR站及高速巴士站大約10分鐘步程, 湯布院街也非常近。酒店環境十分清幽, 每間都是獨立個室; 另外, 酒店有免費提供茶及啤酒,並有溫泉蛋。員工服務超好。下次都會想住同一間酒店。

La estación de techo está muy lejos, tiene que viajar para llegar, el hotel ofrecerá transporte y la estación puede llamarlos. La habitación es un poco descabellada, pero limpia, y tiene un calentador privado al aire libre, y los tipos de reserva incluyen el calentador familiar, pero no hay nada especial. El desayuno es muy rico y los empleados se van a dormir en la habitación durante la cena. Finalmente, el personal es muy amable, la experiencia es buena 👍

We love the ambience and you can get a private onsen. The shower room in the room is very small but it does not matter we we could use the private onsen. The food was excellent. The only little complaint is that it is about 15-20 minutes’ walk to the famous Floral Village. Nevertheless, we had a good time.

¡Qué bien lo pasé aquí! Solo me quedé una noche y ahora me arrepiento de no haberme quedado más tiempo. Era viernes, así que Rio, el dueño, organiza una noche de juegos en el gimnasio público para adolescentes (que, aunque ya son jóvenes, tienen la fuerza de samuráis superpoderosos) y cualquiera que quiera participar. ¡No había corrido y despertado con tantos moretones desde la secundaria! Fue genial ver lo rápido que todos preparaban los accesorios para cada juego; ¡jugamos 4 o 5 juegos en una hora! Se me hizo eterno, ¡todos dieron lo mejor de sí y participaron al máximo! Parece que las otras noches lleva a todos a dar un paseo para ver las estrellas, y los martes también hay voleibol. En fin, es muy proactivo y creativo, ¡así que seguro que hay muchas opciones y posibilidades! La sala es muy bonita, los sofás súper cómodos y la vista espectacular. La cama era muy dura :/ ese fue el único gran problema para mí. El onsen es tan acogedor, el agua súper suave y suena música instrumental. ¡Delicioso! ¡El acondicionador huele de maravilla! Me preocupaba un poco que tuvieran demasiadas reglas, porque cuando los contacté me informaron que tenía que salir de la casa todos los días de 10 a 16. Y que el horario de comidas era muy específico: 7:20 de la mañana y 7 de la noche... Así que temía que fueran demasiado estrictos... pero no hace falta unirse a la comida. Desayuné y me sentí como en el comedor comunitario de Beauxbatons, todos sentados cerca con platos idénticos, muy bien presentados, que vienen en grandes cantidades pero en porciones pequeñas. No es mi estilo, ¡pero sin duda es especial! Algunas informaciones podrían ser un poco más claras porque tardan un poco en responder. Por ejemplo, tienen una hora de recogida frente al ejército a las 6 de la tarde. Le pedí información a una señora encantadora del Centro de Arte dentro de la estación, Chika, y ella los llamó. ¡Al final me llevó ella misma y fue la mejor compañía que pude haber encontrado! Ella es artista, fuimos al supermercado y tuvimos una conversación genial. ¡Les recomiendo ir al centro de arte a saludar a Chika! ¡Mucho amor, gracias Mountain Mamas!

Reservé Yufuin en Hoshino Resorts con mucha anticipación. La ubicación es perfecta. Comuníquese con el hotel con anticipación y ellos organizarán un automóvil especial para que lo recoja en la estación de tren. Debe tomar el Yufuin Mori a esta ciudad de cuento de hadas. Es realmente fácil de visitar. Puedes viajar al mundo de la animación de Hayao Miyazaki en un segundo. El hotel está situado en una montaña. El servicio es impecable y satisface todas las necesidades. La ubicación de la habitación es perfecta. Siéntate en el sofá y mira cómo se elevan las nubes. Empuja la ventana y estarás en un paraíso. No importa el cielo azul y las nubes blancas durante el día o el croar de las ranas en los campos de arroz por la noche, no querrás perdértelo ni por un segundo. Las aguas termales en las montañas y los bosques están muy limpias. Fui a remojarme por la mañana. Fue un placer reservar el lugar para mí. También había un suministro ilimitado de helado, café y té. Me sorprendió que hubiera barbacoa. La cena estuvo exquisita y deliciosa. Todo fue perfecto.

第一次到由布院，謝謝雅格拉為我們留下美好的回憶…… 先說優點…，即便返回台灣已經2週，仍對雅格拉和由布院念念不忘！服務人員親切，其中有一位外籍工作人員 英文非常流利！溝通很順利。房間空間雖然不大，但保持著日式古樸的氛圍，我個人很喜歡！連保險箱都還是木製鑰匙鎖！很有趣！家裡長輩也很融入。總共房間不多，因此還保有私密感，很驚喜！溫泉的部分 因為天氣太冷，房間內露天的湯池我沒有嘗試，但大眾湯池還不錯！最最最重要的是 他們家的餐點太優秀了！ 我們續住兩晚，每天都能品嚐到不同款式 精緻又美味的餐點！第一天是燒肉，第二天火鍋，肉品、烤魚、日式涼菜 完全沒有雷（納豆除外，只是不習慣而已）！連長輩都讚不絕口！走的時候買了好幾包他們特製的味增回家！乾煎魚排的時候搭配 太好吃了！！所以每天最期待的就是用餐時間！餐點是我住過的溫泉旅館中的top！給予五星評價！ 優點說完來說缺點，由於我們有包車，所以交通于我們而言並不是問題，但如果是自己搭大衆交通出行，可能會比較不便，在山上的位置距離由布院鬧區有段距離，開車大概5～10分鐘。其次房間內沒有提供飲水，我們每天早餐時間都會拿著水壺請工作人員幫我們裝滿再帶回。最後就是大衆湯池的部分，由於我們一家有5位女性，人數較多，都會乾脆一起去洗浴，發現的問題也較多！例如 梳理的地方只有一台吹風機！沒有提供毛巾，必須從房間帶，還要再帶回去；沒有提供飲水，泡澡結束後口渴就回房間再補充水分；沒有暖氣，所以一出浴場非常冷！穿衣服要盡快，我們有長輩、有嬰兒要照顧，更加要速度……甚至還有日本人在裡面使用手機！這個我真的很不解！只能用蹩腳的日語請她收起來，這是連我們都知道的常識……所以我們後來就決定晚一點再去大眾池，大概8：00過後就幾乎包場，順利了一些，也留下很特別的回憶！ 以上是分享，如果下次還是單獨自由行，還會想回到雅格拉，但如果有長輩和小寶寶，建議還是選擇浴室在房間內的比較方便！總歸來說還是很值得的！謝謝雅格拉親切的招待！
