Un hotel del que tenía grandes expectativas resultó ser una decepción: las cortinas eran peores que las de un hotel de tres estrellas, dejando entrar la luz por todas partes. Recuerdo despertarme a las 7 de la mañana después de solo seis horas de sueño; me quejé en recepción el día anterior y me dijeron que lo habían arreglado, pero volvió a pasar lo mismo a la mañana siguiente. Las mantas eran increíblemente gruesas; incluso con el aire acondicionado al mínimo, nos despertamos dos veces por el calor. Cuando pedimos mantas más finas, dijeron que no tenían y, en su lugar, nos trajeron dos mantas de forro polar que parecían más pequeñas que la propia cama, resbalándose por los lados de la funda nórdica por la noche… Se anunciaba como el hotel más nuevo y mejor de Fukuoka, pero era pura apariencia y nada de sustancia, una experiencia verdaderamente terrible, gestionado como una empresa sin ninguna experiencia en el sector hotelero.

Wonderful location! A straight walk from Hakata Station (or you can take one stop on the subway). The hotel is right outside the subway station. Very short walk to Canal City too. A 24h pharmacy nearby with an AEON mart at the basement. There's good food around too. Really great location but if you stay the STAY ROOM type, please note that you will be facing a huge cemetery 🥲. It's mostly hidden by trees but you absolutely can see it. The hotel is right infront of the cemetery. Other room types won't get that view thankfully. There's a free to use public bath, free ice pops, and free to use microwave. Washing machine outside is paid per use. You can see the status from your room. STAY ROOM washing is free with detergent provided 👍 Service was great initially. Check in team aided with my requests. However, checkout team was not the best. I arrived at the counter, confused and in a rush but the team in the morning all stood behind the counter, leaning their backs to the wall. I utter a word of question and nobody came forward to help. I tried to figure it out myself, by slotting in the card, then finally someone came forward, no talk no acknowledgement, tapped some stuff - all in japanese - and then nothing. I was confused, then one of the English speaking stuff said ”all done”... I was very unimpressed with this service. Especially with the sight of all of them leaning against the wall when I obviously needed help. Really a downer to a good stay.

El hotel cuenta con tres tipos de habitaciones/cabañas: cápsulas regulares, cabañas privadas y cabañas privadas premium. Las cápsulas cuentan con un vestuario separado para guardar sus pertenencias; las cabañas privadas tienen su propio vestuario dentro, además de una mesa y una silla. El hotel estaba limpio y agradable; al registrarse, le entregan toallas y tickets para cada día de su estancia por si necesita cambiarse. Los artículos de aseo y la limpieza de la habitación son a petición. No puede usar los baños ni las duchas de 11:00 a 15:00 debido a la limpieza, pero puede usar libremente el salón con microondas, manga y agua caliente, y su propia cabaña/cápsula.

La ubicación es excelente, el personal del frente de escritorio fue amable y bienvenido, y el precio era muy razonable. La única sugerencia que tengo es la de la custodia de la casa. Puede haber sido un malentendido, pero se sentía un poco decepcionante, especialmente porque la hospitalidad japonesa es generalmente tan caliente. La habitación no estaba en el centro de la ciudad, pero no se había construido ni se había puesto en el centro de la ciudad. Incluso un ligero acontecimiento haría sentirse mucho más cómodo y bienvenido, especialmente para las estancias más largas. After a full day of exploring Fukuoka, being able to come back and enjoy a massage immediately was a lifesaver, cutting the fatigue in half. This amenity completely elevated the stay. 2. Thoughtful Amenities Strategy: The room provided basic toiletries like toothbrushes and towels. Even better, the hotel lobby offered additional, well-known brand skincare products (like facial wash, lotion) and more oral care items for guests to take as needed. This approach minimizes waste while catering to higher needs. 3. A Pleasant Surprise – In-Room Hair Straightener: Another delightful discovery! A hair straightener was already provided in the room. This was particularly appreciated, as many hotels only offer one upon request. As someone who really needs it to maintain smooth, sleek hair (even though the provided shampoo/conditioner were decent), this thoughtful inclusion saved me the hassle of asking and added a touch of convenience I truly valued. 4. No Smoke Smell Issue: Even though we stayed in a smoking room, there was absolutely no residual smoke smell. The air was fresh, showing the hotel's dedication to thorough cleaning and ventilation. 📍 Unbeatable Convenient Location The location is another major selling point, incredibly convenient whether for transportation or exploring the city on foot: · Transport Hub: Within walking distance to Hakata Station, and conveniently situated between two subway stations, making trips to the airport or other parts of Fukuoka very easy. · Culture & Shopping Paradise: · Within a 5-minute walk to Kushida Shrine, the Old Town Museum, and the Art Center, perfect for soaking in traditional culture. · Just a 15-minute walk to Canal City Hakata and the Naka River side, ideal for shopping, dining, and sightseeing all in one go. · Super Convenient for Daily Needs: There are two convenience stores right downstairs, perfect for grabbing drinks, snacks, or a late-night bite anytime. 🛎️ Service & Facility Details · Charging-Friendly: While the number of power outlets wasn't excessive, the room came equipped with a multi-purpose charging cable. This was a very considerate touch for modern travelers, providing a backup even if you forgot your adapter or a specific cable. · Peaceful Nights: The room had good sound insulation. We only heard an external vehicle (like an ambulance) once, so overall sleep quality was undisturbed. · TV & Entertainment: The channel selection was limited, but for guests focused on exploring the city, this wasn't an issue at all. · Breakfast is a Must-Try!: Highly recommend adding breakfast! The roasted beef bowl, seafood bowl, and Japanese curry were exceptionally delicious, exceeding the standard of typical hotel breakfasts. The most surprising part was that the breakfast buffet included unlimited wine, which is quite rare and made for a perfect start to the day.

El hotel es el hotel más peor 4-star que he tenido en Fukuoka. El hotel está muy bien situado, y el personal estaba bien situado. Pero organizan mal el escritorio delantero: siempre una larga cola en el check-in. Under staffed and low efficiency. They installed self check-in machines but everyone using that ended up requesting staff attention. So, they are useless. El desayuno es pobre en el estándar japonés, tanto de calidad como de sabor. La cama es terrible. Puede imaginar un hotel 4-star, la cama está hecha de marco de acero barato. La mía se está agitando incluso cuando se está pendiente en ella! No se recomienda en general.

¡Ubicación excelente! El hotel está justo al lado de la estación de Hakata, lo que facilita enormemente los desplazamientos. La parada/terminal del autobús lanzadera al aeropuerto también está a pocos pasos, y el trayecto desde o hacia el aeropuerto de Fukuoka dura tan solo entre 20 y 25 minutos. Una ventaja inesperada fue el sillón de masaje en la habitación, perfecto para un viajero cansado después de un largo día. (Nota: no todas las habitaciones disponen de sillón de masaje, así que conviene consultarlo al reservar).

Muy buen lugar para quedarse y súper cerca de la estación de trenes, en esta zona te puedes mover rápido por la ciudad.

Me alojé en el Hotel Oriental Fukuoka Tenjin y ¡fue una excelente elección! La ubicación es inmejorable: a solo dos minutos a pie de la entrada del metro, lo que facilita moverse por la ciudad. Además, hay una gran variedad de restaurantes cerca, como Yoshinoya, Matsuya e incluso Shin Shin, a la vuelta de la esquina. El servicio fue siempre excelente y la habitación muy cómoda. Me encantaron las almohadas y la cama, perfectas para descansar después de un largo día de turismo. Un detalle muy práctico fue que proporcionaran pijamas, que yo no había traído. El desayuno era muy completo y variado, lo que hacía que las mañanas fueran un placer. En resumen, una estancia cómoda y sin complicaciones en una ubicación privilegiada.

The hotel is conveniently located right beside the canal city mall, but it was actually quite a bit of outdoor walking distance from the subway station as the connecting bridge from the mall was closed for some reason. The hotel is very big and each floor has a very long corridor full of rooms. However, the facilities are quite old and the walls are paper thin, I can clearly hear people talking along the corridor. The room was also quite dated and small, and the toilet was really cramped even for 1 person. The bed was really comfortable though. I only stayed for 1 night which i think is more than enough to explore canal city and nearby areas.
