Hotel New Gaea Yakuin

I was impressed by the lounge. Good service. The staff were very efficient in their work. The room was clean, spacious and all the necessary amenities were provided. The onsen was refreshing. However, I was not pleased with the pillow provided as it was different from what I am used to when staying at various hotels. It was flat and not comfortable. Overall, great experience. I would go again.

Hotel is located at Yakuin area where it is quieter, but a bit of a distance from Hakata/Tenjin (but still accessible). There is a 711 nearby and it is a very short walk to the Yakuin train station. We got the Annex room (which was just next door from the main building) and it was like a small little comfortable apartment which had everything we needed for long term stays. The best part was the free flow drinks at the lounge

Well-equipped，convenient transportation

The cleaning was only performed once every two nights. While the onsen on the top floor offered good experience after a long walk and the weather wasn't friendly to me from the subtropical zone. The mattress was only of fair level and I only had ok sleep. The facilities are generally dated but the onsen on the top floor compensates.

This hotel is very spacious and extremely clean, making our stay comfortable and relaxing. The onsen facilities were a great bonus, and we were pleasantly surprised by the free-flow beer counter. Truly impressed and very happy with this hotel. Highly recommended for a wonderful stay. 🍺✨

The hotel room was pretty spacious for 1 person, and the location was also convenient and close to the subway station. I had a comfortable stay throughout my 5 nights there. I also loved that there is a supermarket just right outside the subway station for my daily grocery and supper/breakfast runs which was soo convenient, as the prices there are more affordable than convenient stores. There is also a lounge where you can have free alcohol/coffee/soft drinks for free. The only small issues are that there is a mild stale smell in the room, and you can hear the train sounds from the room (both of which didnt really affect me). The bed and pillows are also on the hard side so it would be good if they were softer. Other than that, highly recommend this hotel for your fukuoka trip.

complimentary lounge with free drinks (coffee & alcohol included) is unbeatable! The bathing spa is spacious and very nice. However, since hotel is next to tram station, a bit noisy when the tram pass by.

decently sized apartment, much better than the other hotels closer to hakata station. annex i was in was a short walking distance to the main hotel which contains the bathhouse

Good service and a helpful front desk that quickly solved my problems. There’s a small lounge offering free soft drinks and alcoholic beverages every night. Just note that the washing machines are unavailable after 0am.
