Review of Onna Resort, Okinawa About me: I’m a frequent flyer to Japan and a long-time fan of staying at villas and resorts across the country. I enjoy discovering different accommodations across Japan. This time, I chose Onna Resort for a relaxing group trip. ⸻ 👍 What I liked: • Spacious resort– Very roomy and comfortable, easily fits 7–8 people. Perfect for families or groups of friends. • Clean and well-maintained – The entire resort was spotless and felt well cared for. • View exactly as shown in photos – Stunning ocean view that matches the listing. Great for enjoying sunrise and sunset. • Beach nearby – A beach is within walking distance. While it may not be the best in Okinawa, it’s still nice for a stroll or quick swim. • Washer and dryer setup – Includes both a washer-dryer combo and a separate dryer, which is especially handy for drying towels and clothes after swimming. • Well-equipped kitchen – Good selection of cookware and appliances for preparing meals. • Private and quiet surroundings – Peaceful setting with no disturbance from other guests. ⸻ 👎 What could be improved: • Inconsistent check-in information – The email offered early check-in, and a staff member via video call said I could check in at 2pm. But when I arrived, another staff said it was 3pm. This communication gap should be addressed. • Missing basic items – No cups or glasses were provided, obviously an oversight by the cleaning staff. • Limited towel supply – Towels are provided strictly based on headcount. Given the proximity to the beach, it would be more convenient to offer a few extra towels without needing to ask. • Limited Coffee Supply - The resort provides coffee bags based on headcount as well, which was insufficient for guests who consume two or three cups daily. A more generous and considerate coffee supply would enhance the experience. • Insufficient tableware – Only two large plates were provided. It would be more practical to include additional small dishes, rice bowls, and condiment plates (e.g. for soy sauce or wasabi), especially for guests who plan to cook. • Lack of basic cooking ingredients – It would be helpful if staple items like cooking oil, salt, and pepper were provided to make meal preparation more convenient. • No power outlets near beds – Most sockets were located low on the wall and away from sleeping areas, making it inconvenient to charge phones or devices overnight. • Weak Wi-Fi signal in places – Internet connection was spotty in some areas of the villa, although it offers several wifi spots within the resort, but still weak

El entorno de alojamiento muy perfecto, nuestras 6 viviendas grandes y pequeñas son muy satisfechas, 3 habitaciones en el piso inferior, hay cocina, sala de estar, silencio sin confusión, cerca de 7-11 y supermercado, cualquier problema se puede resolver inmediatamente, una casa excelente.

Fue divertido recorrer los grandes terrenos en un carrito, y las iluminaciones eran hermosas. La próxima vez me gustaría venir y quedarme y jugar al golf al mismo tiempo.

Me alojé una noche en la sexta planta de este hotel para ir al Acuario Churaumi de Okinawa. Es un poco antiguo, pero forma parte del ambiente 😊. La habitación está muy limpia. Agradezco el servicio de recepción, que nos ayudó a encontrar un centro médico cercano para extranjeros. Al principio, la habitación parece tenue, pero se puede encender la luz del techo con un control remoto. Quizás fuimos en temporada baja, así que había suficiente espacio de aparcamiento detrás del hotel. Me gustó el tendedero para colgar la ropa. Vi gente practicando deportes acuáticos en el parque de enfrente y lo pasé genial paseando por allí. La zona de desayuno tiene una bonita vista del océano. Hay un restaurante Lawson al lado del hotel. A 10 minutos en coche del centro comercial Aeon de Nago y un excelente paseo por la costa de vuelta a la ciudad.

Habitación super espaciosa y bien equipada. Muy cerca de todo. Todo muy limpio y personal súper amable. Aparcamiento gratuito. Muy satisfecha! Volvería sin duda! Y tienen un gato como mascota! Super adorable 😍

El hotel está ubicado frente al mar, por lo que la vista es excelente. Además, se puede ir caminando a la playa. Sin embargo, al estar más cerca del mar, está más alejado de otros lugares. El aparcamiento es de pago según el número de días de estancia. Las habitaciones eran espaciosas y limpias. En comparación con la mayoría de los hoteles japoneses, se consideran bastante grandes. Una buena estancia por la proximidad al acuario Churami y para recorrer la zona de Nago.

For a decent price you get a convenient location not too far from the bus stop. The hotel has everything that is needed, and if you don't need cleaning, they treat you with 2 free items of your choice (beverages or ice cream). There is a public bath on the top floor (artificial onsen). The water temperature was 43 degrees (they have the thermometer), but it is open air, so it was comfortable. The staff was ready to help even during the night, and they allowed me to extend my stay for 2 hours. The hotel is not far from the road, but it was quiet during the night. Also, there is Nago port nearby, so, you can take a boat to Motobu port at 10am, which is really convenient.

La habitación estaba limpia y era bonita. Parecía un apartamento, con cocina, baño y aseo separados, ¡e incluso lavadora, lo cual era muy práctico! Habría sido mejor si hubiera pantuflas desechables en la habitación. Había una heladería en la planta baja, y el helado tenía una pinta deliciosa.

Los camareros son pacientes y amables. Es un hotel relativamente tradicional, aunque puede que falten algunos equipos en la habitación, como el puerto USB para cargar. El hotel no es muy grande, así que no te perderás. Esta podría ser la mejor opción si buscas una habitación con vistas al mar al mejor precio.
