La ​​calidad del agua varía en cada baño, y los baños públicos también son una buena opción porque no se comparte demasiado con otras personas. Las comidas eran abundantes, tanto en variedad como en cantidad, y quedé muy satisfecho. 😋 Es una de las posadas a las que me gustaría volver. Las termas cercanas de Yakushido parecen ser potables, ¡y el agua también estaba estupenda!

The room and the Onsen were EXACTLY like those in the listing and were absolutely stunning! The breakfast was delicious and the range more than adequate. The location is good if you drive but is about 1km walk to Beppu Tower and a bit more from the night street. But I’d happily trade that for the spacious room and the wonderful sea and sunrise view.

Very well design and functional apartment style room. Small kitchen and washing machine certainly a bonus. Complimentary hot and cold beverage in lobby area makes us feel so welcome. Only negative was on one of the days room was not clean after making a request, other than that our stay was enjoyable and very satisfied.

Pros: The hostel is clean and provides a drink bar with hot and cold beverages including soups. They also have mangas and a few video games provided. The room is spacious and comfortable. Cons: The location is about 10-15 mins from the Beppu station, but close to Donki Beppu and convenient stores. However, they DO NOT support early or late check-in. They asked us to leave the baggage unchecked and unattended when we arrived early. The point where we disappointed was the notification of the check-in time. Most hotels/ hostels in Japan support early or late check-in but seems like they don’t have enough staff for that. We didn’t realize the the check-in is required by 8pm. They called us around 7:10pm-ish to inform the check-in deadline time. And we tried to negotiate cuz we was very far away and was in the mountains. We called them back cuz we tried to speed up but it almost caused an accident. The answer we got was NOT SUPPORTIVE. They only said customers had to read the check-in time on the website (Trip.com) and they couldn’t wait even we said we would be late for 5-10 minutes at the fastest pace of our journey. Luckily, there was a group of customers who was checking when we arrived (20:05 pm) so we could check-in.

This ryokan is located at the top of a hill and it's very quiet Place is huge and you have a private onsen though the water is scorching hot Need to put a lot of cold water so that the onsen can be used Tough part is that the leaves keep falling from outside into the onsen and you have to use the net to catch it Another issue is check-in latest is by 6pm (otherwise there's no front desk) If you are ok with the check-in constraints, then this place is pretty good
