UUsuario invitadoLovely staff , spotlessly clean , bed v comfy , shower pressure and hot water excellent . Great views of the city and the sea.
Breakfast was OK - a little slow to re- stock items at busy time which I think was more to do with number not quality of staff.
Pool was nice and v clean - got very busy with children - lovely for young families but not so ideal if wanting to actually swim .
15 minute walk to waterfront but plenty of restaurants closer and a money changer 5 minute walk away.
All in all excellent value for money and I would recommend . As we invariably find in Indonesia however , the greatest asset is the staff .

the place is clean and fresh close to the sea and many restaurants around.
Marla can help you with lots of info and arrange trip to anywhere with real value for your money.
Highly recommended.
When we back in Makassar we now know where to go.

ZZmeyerNice one for the price. Rooms are not absolutely fresh, but its ok. Small and boring pool. Love their breakfasts - options, tastes, everything is good (especially pastries). Very friendly and helpful staff. Location just perfect - quiet center. There are a lot of good restaurants nearby.

UUsuario invitadoOverall, Santika Hotel is quite a good hotel. The location is strategic and makes it easy to get anywhere. The cleanliness is good, and the bathroom functions well. The front desk staff are friendly and always smiling. The only area for improvement is the breakfast. I think the food quality could be better. Sometimes it lacks flavor, sometimes it’s too sweet, sometimes too tough to bite, and sometimes too plain. I believe the kitchen team could benefit from additional culinary training.

• Approximately 12mins walking distance to Losari Beach.
• Nearby convenient store, Indomaret and Alfamart.
• Nearby cafe, Republik Kopi.
• Nearby places to eat, Mas Daeng, Sate Gaga, RM Bahari.
Bad
• The balcony door wasn't locked and unable to lock.
• Toilet water at times very little pressure.
• The room has a door that links to another room(501).
• Toiletries not provided.
I don't know how this hotel got a good rating, but something unexpected happened during my stay.
It was on a Saturday late night, a group of teenagers were having party in their room(501), they were drinking and smoking in the room, making so much noise and playing loud music, the worst part was they knocked on my room door 2-3 times when I was sleeping. They were not only making noise in their room but also in the corridor, they were screaming and shouting.
Probably, the counter/security personnel needs to do a patrol after 12 midnight on each floor, especially on a Saturday night, to ensure minimal noise pollution.

Si quieres tomarlo, puedes esperar a que no fume gente que quiere descansar. El hotel está en una habitación de vacaciones, pero no se puede encontrar en el hotel. No había nada de pie, lo que fue resultado delante del armario hasta que el baño fuera de la puerta del baño estaba húmedo. Mi sugerencia es pedir ayuda, la toalla no vale la pena usar de nuevo porque es tan grande y robek2. ¿No es vergonzoso para un hotel grande que la toalla es como este bolo?

UUsuario anónimofirst visit to this country. servis good. the location good near all facilities like mosque, shop, restaurant. but the cleanliness poor. the floor in room likely dusty. toilet pump poor. no water heater in toilet.
all so far so good. I hope the management can fix all the weaknesses slowly at the same time ASAP.
