Hoteles cerca de Playa de Kastelet, Split

This is an intimate 5-room establishment situated amidst the alleys of the Old Town, hence cars cannot drop passengers at the doorstep. Easy enough to catch a shuttle bus for EUR 8 from the airport to the bus station at the port, from which a Makarun staff will meet you and assist you with your luggage to the hotel, a 10-minute walk away. Breakfast is a la carte, as is to be expected for such a small establishment, comprising 3 courses - pastry/toast, eggs of your choice with cold cuts, and a dessert, complemented by tea coffee and/or juice. Food was more than adequate in terms of quantity and quality. My room was comfortable enough, though 2 issues were noticeable: * Instead of a flat cotton bed sheet, there was a fitted sheet made of what seemed like jersey, and looked more like a mattress protector.This was pilled and coarse, in contrast to the far smoother cotton quilt cover. When I brought this to the attention of the staff they explained that this is standard for the hotel. Whilst it did not affect the quality of my sleep, the coarseness of the sheet wasn't entirely pleasant * In the bathroom, the shower was mounted at waist height, hence one either had to hold the shower in one hand, or, if there was a need to use both hands to wash, then one would have to crouch under the shower while it was in its holder. Not particularly convenient. Overall a comfortable stay in a convenient location, enhanced by the friendly and solicitous Ivan and Mario.

Excelente hotel en Split, Croacia. ¡Probablemente el mejor! Para empezar, la ubicación del Ambassador es perfecta. Está a poca distancia a pie del casco antiguo, el ferry, la mayoría de los puntos de encuentro para excursiones y muchos restaurantes de primera categoría. Además, está justo al lado del mar y a las afueras del casco antiguo, lo que significa que es accesible en coche. Si reservas un hotel dentro del casco antiguo, los coches no pueden entrar y tienes que llevar tu propio equipaje hasta el hotel, desde donde te dejan los coches. Pero el Ambassador ofrece lo mejor de ambos mundos: es accesible en coche y está a un corto paseo de todo. Además de su excelente ubicación, el hotel es muy limpio, moderno y, sin embargo, no parece barato. Las instalaciones se ven muy nuevas y bien mantenidas. El personal también fue muy amable y atento. Reservamos este hotel porque tenía una excelente valoración, e incluso con nuestras altas expectativas, nos sorprendió gratamente la calidad de las instalaciones, el servicio y nuestra experiencia en general. Recomiendo encarecidamente este hotel y sin duda volveré a reservarlo la próxima vez que visitemos Split.

This is a self check in hotel. The hotel staff gives you all the instructions to get the key. I was fortunate to arrive at 3 pm and met the person in charge of the hotel. She explained to me everything. During summer if you open the window the AC stops working. So you basically stay with the windows closed or feel the heat with open windows. The breakfast was okay. The crepes were SO big for 1 person. The omelet was good size too. The room is big. There is security box and fridge. Let's mention the bad things: you need to go up to your room and bring your suitcase sometimes to the 3rd floor. The toilet was big but it had a strong smell. The soap for hands was so strong. Very strong smell. Why do you use that soap?. You need to change this (just saying...) . There is a bar in the 1st floor that belongs to the hotel. There was a football match and a person turned on the volume of the TV so loud at 11 pm. I had to go downstairs to tell the staff I had to sleep. Expensive accommodation but what do you expect from Split?

La habitación era un poco más pequeña de lo que esperaba, pero la ducha era estupenda. La ubicación es fantástica, justo a las afueras del casco antiguo. En general, una estancia muy agradable.

Хорошая локация, близко до старого города, отличная современная ванна. Очень плохой интернет, невозможно работать удаленно. Несколько раз писал хозяину, один день полностью игнорировал меня, на второй ответил что придет специалист и наладит, но интернет лучше ратовать не стал. Очень мягкий и неудобный матрас и еще куча муравьев в номере. Есть бесплатная парковка вдоль улицы, где расположены апартаменты.

Era una muy buena ubicación para caminar hasta el corazón de la ciudad y estaba cerca del puerto, donde puedes dar un agradable paseo por el puerto.
