The check in process was very easy, just took us some time to find the place because we thought it is separated from the pub but the reception is actually right in it so just walk straight in! Room was very cozy and equipped, very thoughtful to provide us with all the basic amenities plus additional items such as water, beer, milk, chocolate, coffee for coffee machine and even a postcard! Staff was really friendly and helpful as well. The breakfast was also really amazing - you get to choose a main and a drink from their breakfast menu on top of a mini buffet spread that offered some really good pastries, salamis, cheese and more, so be sure to leave some extra time in the morning to enjoy it! However, there was a club opposite the place that was opened slightly pass midnight when we were there and if you're a light sleeper be sure to pack some ear plugs to go to sleep early. One of the corners of the wall also had a slight mold issue because the condensation from the bathroom must have caused that in the long run but it shouldn't be a huge concern though it will be nice if that gets fixed!

El hotel está cerca del terminal de crucero, puede estar a pie o un taxi corto. We’re boarding the Sky Princess and the hotel staff helped us book a radio taxi, which costs 10 Euros. El hotel está situado en una zona de 280 libras por noche, pero tiene unas habitaciones muy confortables. La recepción y el restaurante fueron muy amables y útiles. El único problema principal era los ascensores del hotel, los dos con una capacidad muy limitada, 450 kg cada uno, estaban lejos de ser adecuados para 150 habitaciones, especialmente durante el tiempo de salida. Es una espera muy larga, o estás preparado para caminar por las escaleras con tus maletas.

Buen hotel. Habitación amplia y bien equipada. Buen desayuno. En general todo correcto, pero fue un poco decepcionante que cobrasen un extra por usar la piscina interior.

La habitación es grande, la cama es muy cómoda, el desayuno es el mejor alimento durante tantos días en el viaje al Reino Unido, el precio es muy incómodo, este precio puede ser un hotel estrellado 2.3 en otras partes

El hotel era limpio y amable y las camas eran muy cómodas.

Great location, close to town centre area and also within walking distance to tourist attraction like Tudor House. The pub Standing Order next to the hotel is recommended for its great atmosphere and food.

Lovely hotel, beautiful grounds. Feels like you're well outside Southampton but are only 15 mins away. (Daughter in Uni there) Room was nice, we had exec but this isn't worth it to me. It only gives you a better coffee machine and we weren't in the room enough to use it. Save the £20. No lifts so cases up to the third floor was a bit of a pain. If you're waiting for a ferry and have lots of cases then this could be an issue. We saw a few people struggle with this. Breakfast was good, staff very friendly. We didn't eat there in the evening, burgers and chips sort of menu but the nearby pub, Chilworth Arms was really good. The pool is great, small (16m) but very nice with jacuzzi, steam and sauna. Towels provided. Staff very friendly. Pool surrounding has quite slippery tiles though. Leisure facility is a bit away from the hotel, only 300 hundred meters from the hotel front but enough to need an umbrella if raining. All in all, a good value pleasant hotel. Much cheaper than Leonardo's in Soton and still close to Uni etc.

Pasamos la noche antes de embarcar de crucero desde Southampton y ha sido una buena elección. Situado en la autopista, cerca de una zona de restauración de servicio, aparcamiento justo en la puerta. Habitación cómoda para 2 adultos y 2 niños. Bien relación calidad precio.

The hotel is in a great, quiet location and it is a very beautiful building. The room was clean and pleasant, but it wasn't quite what I expected. Through Trip I thought I had booked one room up from the smallest option, but alas turns out I had not! The bed was also advertised as a standard double, it definitely is not in the smaller rooms, it is a small double, and this made sleeping for two a little uncomfortable. The room was also very hot even though we turned the radiator off and had the window open all night but I think this is just due to it being an older building, heat rises etc. The pool room really needs TLC. It is very overlooked and we felt really lets the hotel down. It's shame as it's a lovely space - even a quick lick of paint would bring it back to life if money doesn't allow for larger maintenance. Staff were all very friendly, especially the two we were served by in the restaurant for dinner. The food was okay but a little over priced but the service made up for that. All in all for a quick overnight stop it was fine.
