******* the host was super friendly and attentive. Room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. However, the bedroom had just a bed (very big and comfy), two tiny bedside units, and a mirror on the floor. There was no storage of any sort so be prepared to live out of a suitcase. Instead of a waste bin, there was a small plastic bag. The shared bathroom had a bath but no shower, not even inside the bath. The house is in a busty residential area with large new townhouses, so parking can be difficult. ******* said that he will add to the furniture and install a shower head but until that happens it is overpriced (£80) for a room with no en-suite.

La habitación era agradable para el precio, buena presión de agua y caliente. ¡Habrías querido una caldera, y el permiso de estacionamiento que ofrecen es un pedazo de papel que por mi posición de nique como motociclista me dijeron, no te preocupes si te multas, te lo cancelarás, que nunca es divertido! También toman tarjetas para depósito de daños que no es realmente un problema, pero no se notifica en la reserva como casi todos los demás que hacen lo mismo que es un poco subversivo.

Not too far from the train station and easy to find. Hassle free check in, clean room. The corridor had a slightly odd smell but inside the room was fine. Had the standard room with 2king beds and a shower, no bath. Happy with the room and bed was comfy. Lovely water pressure and a toilet that actually flashed well! Overall decent place, good value for money, would go again.

We had a very pleasant stay. The room was spacious, a little dated, but spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the city centre, but it’s still easily walkable. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and the breakfast was excellent with a great selection. Overall, great value and we’d happily stay here again.

Really happy with the stay, we had a bit of an incident with a broken down car and my son arriving late to meet us, we asked if we could accomodate my son rather than him going to his shared accomadation. Reception couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was great, (especially the make your own waffles), rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Will definitely come back.

The hotel is located in a very good area city center and literally close to every you wanna be Friendly staff but cleaning room must be hovered everyday Not just tidy the bed and changing the towels hover and mop everyday could make it better

The Hotel covers that basic needs and was in a perfect location for what we wanted, its not up there in lavishness but neither is the price, so if you want a hotel that does the job at a very reasonable price this is definitely the one. I would happily stay again if this was the location i wanted to be in, bearing in mind i travelled for business.

I wouldn't consider this a good stay, as I encountered several issues. First, the check-in process was a hassle since this hotel doesn't have a front desk. I spent hours calling the hotel, facing either ”Line busy” or no response after a long wait. If it wasn’t for Trip.com's customer service finally connecting with the hotel, I wouldn’t have known what to do. Second, the wooden door in my room was difficult to close; it required a hard push and made a loud ”bang.” The glass sliding door of the shower room was also problematic, it fell out on my first pull, and I'm certainly not strong enough to break a door with just one pull. Lastly, and most frustratingly, was the toilet paper situation. It was my first time encountering a toilet without a single roll of paper. I can't imagine what I would be if I hadn't brought my own in my bag that day. On a positive note, the room was well-equipped with a fridge, oven, heater, toaster, and even an iron, which suggests the hotel might have been quite good when the things are all good a few years ago, but not now.

Lovely clean and welcoming hotel with great facilities. There is a spa and pool at the hotel and a restaurant. We ate in the bar area and the food and service was excellent. The receptionist was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed.

Just a quick overnight stay to attend a graduation at Sheffield Uni. Very clean, comfortable and quiet, with large rooms, fairly modern bathrooms and a spacious car park. There are several convenience stores and takeaways nearby (10-15min walk or 3min drive). Only took around 30 minutes by car to reach the city centre and the university, in moderate traffic. Not a breakfast person myself but a buffet continental breakfast was included, consisting of the usual cereals, yoghurt, croissants, juice, tea, coffee...cooked breakfast was available for what seemed a reasonable price on top. All in all a nice, hassle-free stay.
