The Grand is in the middle of an extensive refurbishment programme. I booked 4 room for 2 nights on each side of my daughter's graduation - which I explained to the hotel in advance, so we could have rooms close together to help with hairdressing etc. First the good - beautiful building with stunning original features within a contemporary refurbishment. Stunning public areas, easy parking (albeit the car park is v tatty). The BEST service staff - accommodated all our requests, gave my daughters free parking as a gift. Everyone was delightful, helpful and effective. The bar was superb, superb service and drinks. Breakfast was gorgeous - huge variety with quality ingredients, beautifully presented. The rooms were simple yet luxurious. V nicely appointed bathrooms, comfy bed, lovely shower products. The bad - two of us had to change rooms due to ineffective / not working aircon. Unfortunately, my room was worst with heat topping 33 degrees, even hotter when the hairdresser arrived. I GOT NO SLEEP due to the heat. My friend had already had her room changed before she arrived due to a maintenance issue but her new room had no aircon at all - worth knowing that 4 stars does not mean aircon in all rooms (only 50%) have it. After having to back up we were allocated new rooms. My friend's room was an upgraded one. Mine was not, but the aircon worked to a nearly acceptable level. That said, nothing close to the ”fridge” temperature my daughter / boyfriend and her brother, enjoyed. I spoke to the manager after breakfast as I checked out. He too was charming and completely accepted my complaint. In essence, the ”build” is still happening and he is reporting the snagging issues. Given dinestiv builds can be a nightmare, he did my sympathy as he is trying to coordinate this, much larger build, with people getting in the way. I would love to revisit in 6mths or so - as so much of what they are doing is fantastic - its just quite there yet...but it will be fabulous!

My stay at the Marriott Leicester was genuinely enjoyable and exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive, making check-in smooth and stress-free. The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I especially liked the calm atmosphere—it felt like a proper break. The location was also ideal, close to Fosse Park and the motorway, but still peaceful. Overall, the Marriott Leicester felt like a perfect mix of comfort and class.

The location is fantastic! 10 minute walking distance to the theatres and shopping areas. The facade is clean and appealing and on entering the building, the bar/restaurant area really provides a wow factor. I had a double room which were two single beds pushed together, so there was no room to stretch out. The kitchenette doesn't come with washing up liquid or a sponge, so I was a little confused as to how I was supposed to clean up. The toilet was lovely, but having lifted the toilet seat, the toilet bowl was filled with yellow liquid. Easily solved with flushing. The shower was glorious I didn't want to get out. The rooms are not sound proofed so if you are a light sleeper like me, make sure you take your ear plugs. On the whole I paid £80 for the room on Trip, other sites were charging £140 so I do think I got a good deal. I paid for what I got.

Estaba muy contento con el hotel, la habitación era muy agradable y limpia y sobre todo excelente servicio de excelente personal, definitivamente visitaremos de nuevo

La señora en la recepción fue sorprendente, tenía problemas de energía en la primera sala asignada, en un tiempo rápido alcanzado el tipo de mantenimiento marco y también me complementaron con desayuno.

La casa de huéspedes fue fácil de encontrar con unos tres bayos de aparcamiento al aire libre. Llegamos tarde, así que tuvimos que llamar al número móvil proporcionado, y nos saludamos con un servicio rápido y eficiente para llevarnos directamente a nuestra habitación. El hotel está muy bien, pero no es muy agradable. La habitación estaba caliente en medio del invierno y tenía acceso privado a un patio exterior. Tenemos una noche tranquila y tranquila, dejandonos en marcha para el día siguiente. Bien hecho Glen campo alojamiento de huéspedes, seremos definitivamente devueltos si necesitamos permanecer en el centro de Leicester. Gracias.

The A/C is not working during our stay. The hotel should have informed us before we booked the room. Clean room.

This Days Inn made a great first impression thanks to its welcoming reception area. The staff at the front desk were friendly, polite, and quick to assist with check-in, making the whole process smooth and stress-free.

Was good. Staff were helpful too

Lovely last minute booking, the bed was amazingly comfortable, staff were very polite and helpful even after being bite by some dog. We will return
