We stayed in a very clean and comfortable double deluxe room on the 6th floor. Bed was maybe a little hard, but still cosy thanks to the fantastic duvet. Our room had a decent view towards the mountains in the north-west. We paid the small extra charge for buffet breakfast when booking, and were satisfied with the choices of food available. Breakfast is taken on the 10F, and this restaurant has nice views towards the ocean.

Genial. habitacion pequeña pero con todo lo necesario, quizás una luz más baja para apagar y encender desde la cama y que las cortina llegara a toda la pared; para evitar la luz de la tarjeta. Las zonas comunes son muy bonitas y resaltar la amabilidad del personal , me ayudaron con la información para ir al festival de globos de Taiwán y también para solicitar taxis

El hotel ha sido recientemente renovado y aún no hay dispensador de agua en el restaurante. Pero las habitaciones tienen todas las comodidades. El personal de recepción también es muy amable y hay muchas plazas de aparcamiento cerca (de pago). Por suerte, la habitación triple se convirtió en cuádruple. La habitación está limpia, pero el único inconveniente es que no tiene mucha luz.

Cuenta con lavandería, servicio de préstamo de bicicletas y un pequeño gimnasio. 🛌🏼 Cama: para mí gusto era un poco firme. Me gustan más blandas. 🔊 Ruido: en nuestra habitación se escucha por la noche un ruido bastante molesto. Parecía un motor o algo similar. 🛜 Wifi: no funcionaba muy bien. YouTube se quedaba colgado en ocasiones. 🥐 Desayuno: muy bueno. Con todo tipo de opiniones. 🧹 Limpieza: en general bien, pero en nuestra habitación en uno de los lavabos no circulaba bien el agua... El último día terminó atascandose por completo. 🔚 Conclusión: buen hotel para conocer la ciudad.

Our stay at this hotel was a mixed experience, and overall, I wouldn't consider it worth the cost. The hotel itself is old, and the facilities feel very dated. While it boasts a large swimming pool and spa areas, they were unusable during our stay as they were running with cold water. We didn’t see anyone using them. The “beauty pool,” which was advertised as having heated water, was disappointing due to a strong sewer-like smell. Additionally, the sauna is not complimentary for hotel guests, which felt unreasonable. The dining experience was also underwhelming. The à la carte food in the restaurant was below average in quality, the portions were small, and the prices were high. However, the atmosphere was pleasant, though it felt odd being the only customers at 8 p.m. On a brighter note, the breakfast was excellent. I would rate it four stars for its variety of local and aboriginal food, which was a highlight of the stay. The timing of activities for kids was inconvenient as well. While kids could play pool and ping pong for free in the evening (after we arrived at 7 p.m.), all other activities were scheduled for late morning or early afternoon, after checkout time. The hotel’s location is another drawback. It is far from restaurants and busy areas, making it necessary to have a car or take a taxi. The one positive aspect of our stay was the room. We booked the premium family room/suite, which provided separate sleeping areas for parents and kids—a feature we appreciated. However, this came at a premium price, costing 25% more. I had requested a room with a view, and the front desk clerk was accommodating, which I appreciated. Overall, while the room and breakfast were nice, the rest of the experience didn’t justify the cost or the inconvenience. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made to the facilities and services.

Here are my thoughts on various aspects of the hostel: Atmosphere and Policies Upon arrival, one of the notable aspects of the hostel was the requirement to remove shoes before entering. Although this might inconvenience some guests, it does contribute to maintaining cleanliness throughout the premises. The hostel has a modest, laid-back atmosphere, which can be suitable for travelers seeking a relaxed environment. Room Unfortunately, I found the room to be a bit claustrophobic. The limited space made it challenging to move around comfortably. However, considering the price, it was within the acceptable range. The room was clean and tidy, which was a positive point. Service One aspect that could be improved is the level of service provided. The staff offered minimal assistance during my stay, which led to a lack of personal touch. Despite this, it's worth noting that the basic amenities and necessities were provided. Pricing Considering the reasonable price offered by ”It's Mine Hostel,” it is essential to manage expectations accordingly. While some aspects may not be perfect, the affordability of the accommodation must be taken into account when evaluating the overall value. In conclusion, ”It's Mine Hostel” in Taidong is an okay option for travelers on a budget. It is worth noting that the hostel has a relaxed atmosphere. it provides basic amenities and cleanliness. If you're willing to overlook some limitations, ”It's Mine Hostel” can be a decent choice for your stay in Taidong. I hope this review helps!

For a solo traveller coming back from Jiaming Lake Hike - this place is pretty awesome. What’s not to like. A clean bed space, drinking water, shower, washer & dryer. You also get free cycles - they may not be pretty but hey they get the job done!

I had a pleasant stay at Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel 4 years ago, so thought I'd try Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II this time, as they are located near to each other, very close to the bus station and Tiehua Village. This is a great location to explore the city. However, other than the superb location and the bigger room, there isn't much else to love about this hotel. There was literally no service at this branch. Staff were not welcoming and unlike other hotels in Taiwan, they do not greet guests when you are at the lobby. I also never saw any of them smile at guests. In fact, on my first day of check-in, I was blatantly told to check in at Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel instead, because ”the hotel is closed for the day”. When I asked how come I was not informed earlier, the staff answered ”because you don't have a Taiwan mobile number”. This is absurd to me, isn't there the Trip.com messaging service where you can contact guests? Very disappointed with the way they handle such cases, no apology at all, and just gives a very transactional feeling. The only time I encountered a staff who greeted me was at the breakfast restaurant. Room amenities and facilities look like they need proper maintenance, and the windows were so dirty. The bed was also not very comfortable to sleep on. Lastly, I know Taiwan hotel breakfasts are usually not so nice compared to eating out in the breakfast shops, but the quality of the breakfast was really bad. Seasonal fresh fruit selection was only watermelon on 1 morning, and guava + watermelon on another. In conclusion, very disappointed with my stay here this time. Will definitely think twice about returning to Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II the next time I visit Taitung again.

No me atrevería a recomendarlo con demasiado entusiasmo, por temor a tener dificultades para reservar en el futuro. ¡Quienes lo conocen, lo saben! El paisaje es hermoso, tranquilo por la noche, y limpio y ordenado. Si tuviera que hacer una sugerencia, me gustaría que ofrecieran un desayuno sencillo y café de autoservicio con un cargo adicional, ya que no hay tiendas cerca y hay que ir en bicicleta para llegar.

La habitación era excelente y me llevé una muy buena impresión de Taitung. Está muy cerca del mercado nocturno, que es muy animado, a solo unos minutos a pie. El personal me cambió la habitación a una mejor, haciéndola aún mejor. Me gustó mucho y sin duda volveré la próxima vez.
