We stayed in a very clean and comfortable double deluxe room on the 6th floor. Bed was maybe a little hard, but still cosy thanks to the fantastic duvet. Our room had a decent view towards the mountains in the north-west. We paid the small extra charge for buffet breakfast when booking, and were satisfied with the choices of food available. Breakfast is taken on the 10F, and this restaurant has nice views towards the ocean.

El último día terminó atascandose por completo. 🔚 Conclusión: buen hotel para conocer la ciudad.

Este resort es muy anticuado. Necesita una gran actualización. El resort huele viejo y el baño de la habitación que habíamos quedado no estamos limpios y necesitamos reparaciones. El spa estaba bien y era raro tener un edificio residencial cerca para ver la piscina spa. La instalación parece vieja y vacía. Hay edificios residenciales alrededor, pero no hay restaurantes ni comedor cerca, sólo uno 7-11. For a solo traveller coming back from Jiaming Lake Hike - this place is pretty awesome. What’s not to like. A clean bed space, drinking water, shower, washer & dryer. You also get free cycles - they may not be pretty but hey they get the job done!

I had a pleasant stay at Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel 4 years ago, so thought I'd try Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II this time, as they are located near to each other, very close to the bus station and Tiehua Village. This is a great location to explore the city. However, other than the superb location and the bigger room, there isn't much else to love about this hotel. There was literally no service at this branch. Staff were not welcoming and unlike other hotels in Taiwan, they do not greet guests when you are at the lobby. I also never saw any of them smile at guests. In fact, on my first day of check-in, I was blatantly told to check in at Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel instead, because ”the hotel is closed for the day”. When I asked how come I was not informed earlier, the staff answered ”because you don't have a Taiwan mobile number”. This is absurd to me, isn't there the Trip.com messaging service where you can contact guests? Very disappointed with the way they handle such cases, no apology at all, and just gives a very transactional feeling. The only time I encountered a staff who greeted me was at the breakfast restaurant. Room amenities and facilities look like they need proper maintenance, and the windows were so dirty. The bed was also not very comfortable to sleep on. Lastly, I know Taiwan hotel breakfasts are usually not so nice compared to eating out in the breakfast shops, but the quality of the breakfast was really bad. Seasonal fresh fruit selection was only watermelon on 1 morning, and guava + watermelon on another. In conclusion, very disappointed with my stay here this time. Will definitely think twice about returning to Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II the next time I visit Taitung again.

La habitación era excelente y me llevé una muy buena impresión de Taitung. Está muy cerca del mercado nocturno, que es muy animado, a solo unos minutos a pie. El personal me cambió la habitación a una mejor, haciéndola aún mejor. Me gustó mucho y sin duda volveré la próxima vez.
