I liked the retro decor of the hotel which extended to the rooms and also the facilities. The library and communal kitchen on the 8th floor were also very nice. There is even complimentary coffee at the kitchen for guests which was nice. Staff at the front desk were all helpful and friendly. They were able to complete the check in and check out procedures efficiently.
There are however some points which I felt I didn’t really like with regards to the placement of furniture in the room. I booked the twin bed room (2 beds) and one of the beds did not have any side tables. I felt that this was inconvenient for me as I like to place my spectacles at my bedside but not on the bed itself as I was afraid of squashing them when I sleep. I ended up using my luggage as a side table. The other thing is the lack of any hooks to hang a towel or clothes in the bathroom. The only hooks available in the room were outside in the room. I found this a bit inconvenient.

A dos minutos del edificio de Zhucan, hay muchos platos cercanos, la habitación está decorada muy nueva y limpia. Aunque no hay personal de la cabaña, se guiará el proceso con cuidado. Todo estuvo genial. Me encantó la ubicación; está muy cerca de la estación de tren y de las paradas de autobús, con un FamilyMart cerca. No hay mucho que comer ni ver en los alrededores, pero con un viaje en autobús de 15 minutos o una caminata de 15 minutos puedes llegar a cualquier lugar (¡al distrito centro-oeste o a cualquier mercado nocturno!), así que no nos importó. La habitación estaba limpia y el servicio fue excelente. Nada de qué quejarse.

La ubicación es grande, centro de Tainan. Fácil de evaluar a un montón de sitio. Limpia y espaciosa habitación. Desayuno buffet es tan bueno, muchas variedades para elegir.

Hotel muy bonito y en una ubicación excelente. Esta muy limpio y el personal es atento. Quizá son un poco delgadas las paredes porque puedes escuchar roncar al de junto pero en general esta todo muy bien.

Hotel has special evening snacks till 10pm. Not heavy meals but pretty good for a light meal. There is fry chicken mini drumsticks, all the drinks even a bar. Ice-cream good selection of popular flavors.

Location is hard to beat. I got to try quite a few good eateries just by staying here. And there are street markets of different types within short walking distance.
I was staying in a room on 2nd level and using the shared bathroom, but it looked like i was the the only one using it.
Everything is clean and spotless, as if the place is very new. The hot/cold water dispenser at ground level is very useful. More hooks/hangers in the room for hanging clothes would be nice. The light feature above the bed and the full-length glass windows that allow natural light are very aesthetically pleasing.
What was perhaps unusual and a bit unnerving - a first for me - was that i didn't see ANY person around the whole of my 4-day stay. I arrived late and had to do a self check-in on the first day so that was to be expected, but on subsequent days no staff were at reception, nor did i see any guests (though i could faintly hear them in their rooms on certain days). Is this a low season thing? Having said that, i found the self-check in and check-out is quite convenient and if you have connected with them over Whatsapp, they send clear instructions beforehand. They will also answer any questions over Whataspp, so i guess it's like a virtual receptionist?

HHappyManxPasamos por Tainan el domingo, y el hotel estaba justo enfrente de la estación. La habitación era sencilla y limpia. Ese día llegó un frente frío, y la temperatura solo alcanzó los 10 grados centígrados por la noche. El servicio de recepción fue excelente; nos ofrecieron bebidas calientes, lo que hizo que la velada fuera muy agradable.

Se llega a la Torre Chihkan en tan solo 5 minutos a pie. Desde la parada de autobús frente a la Torre Chihkan, se puede tomar el autobús número 98 para ir al Fuerte Anping.
